The DSWYE movement is all promoted by people who simply do not understand the law, in particular, employment law. You cannot fire an employee on grounds that they were involved in a consensual relationship with another employee. It would violate several constitutional laws, the right to a private life, and above all, the rights that citizens have to form relationships. The law specifically mentions the rights of citizens to form consensual sexual relations with any and all adults.

Your employer has no domain over your private life. None. And I know what the spergs will say - but they have a company policy.

If you do get fired for having a consensual relationship with another adult - you should have an exit meeting, but with a witness. You should ask to see the company policy, Because that right there is your golden ticket. They have just given you all the evidence you need for a successful tribunal - they have proved, in black and white, that they are violating employment law and your constitutional rights. Even if they don't give you a copy of the company policy, they have already stated (in front of your witness) that it is company policy to violate both employment law AND your constitutional rights. In fact, it might be better if they refuse to give you a copy of their company policy, because this would be a strong indicator to a court that they knew that they were doing something wrong. Concealment is the most common argument used as evidence of a party knowing that they are doing something wrong. They may have just upped their damages by refusing to give you a copy of their company policy. You might be looking at punitive damages as well!

There are certain things you should do - don't have relations with someone that is an immediate report to you. If your girl is messaging you on company domains (email, company phones) make sure to respond in a way that will always look like she was chasing you. for example - if she emails you and says

'hey - do you want to hang out later?'

You should reply

'Do you mean to discuss work?

If she replies - 'No silly - to go to a movie'

you should then reply

"Sure - happy to make some time, lets meet up after work to discuss'

if she texts you something more spicy, just reply

'Hi - I'm frantic busy right now. I'll be off work at 6pm. See you at x? (somewhere that is not your work).

Always be a bit cold on company email / phone - divert the convo to outside of work.

This is an audit trail that you can use later, that shows 3 things;

1. That she was pursuing you. This obliterates any chance of her saying that you 'harassed' her at work.
2. That your relationship was consensual.
3. That your relationship was conducted outside of office hours and locations.

Your employer has NO domain over your life outside of office hours and locations.
