As many have noticed, Reddit Admin have taken down their required truth reading link to Michael Kimmel's Scam before entering /r/TheRedPill, mainly after I posted this scathing takedown where I explained that their resource on "positive masculinity" was, in fact, a male abuse victim denier.
That's right folks, you can't make it up. Reddit admin, who fancy themselves as the purveyors of what is good and what is not, accidentally told a men's forum that they were absolutely and unequivocally wrong, bad and offensive, and then tried to tell them that the true path to positive masculinity IS DENYING MALE ABUSE VICTIMS.
Holy fucking shit, Reddit Admin. What on earth are you thinking?
Here's what we know now:
The Reddit admin- the ones who believe it is up to them to tell us what we can and cannot read not based on rules, not based on legalities, but on a false sense of morality and self-righteousness, just recanted on their allegedly moral position of what positive masculinity is. Because it was absolutely, undoubtedly, and utterly immoral.
We are still drafting our appeal to the quarantine, but honestly we're starting to think the Reddit Admin are writing the appeal for us.
To the Reddit Admin: You have demonstrated that you are not an authority on morality. You have demonstrated that you do not have the proper judgment to tell users what they should and should not read. You have just subjected 300,000 of your users to an anti-male, abuse-denier. I think you should be ashamed, and I think you should apologize to the users here.
A positive, non-toxic male admits when he's wrong and apologizes when he accidentally denies to 300,000 men that they can be victims of abuse.
Who here thinks the admin have the proper judgment to be able to tell them what they should and should not read?
bsutansalt 6y ago
I'm still amused at the unintended consequences of all of this. The Streisand Effect is real. TRP has largely been apolitical, but in one grandiose example of shooting themselves in the foot the left has damn near turned a 300,000 strong subreddit into a veritable Political Action Committee.
And not just ours, but several other subreddits who are aghast at the censorship that's happening. We're talking about 300,000 here, another 250,000 or so at /MensRights, a fuckton at /Mgtow, and the list goes on. Hell, even some subs that hate the strawman they believe we are have taken to our defense. Way to energize the base of your opposition!
This is why I don't think we'll see a blue wave in November. Every attempt at shutting down conservatives, or really just anyone the left disagrees with, is making people realize just how bug nuts insane the political left has become.
suaressi 6y ago
the left have been shooting themselves in the foot since the last election. blue wave is not coming any time soon.

Men's rights and MAGA are allies. First I had the "red pill" as it relates to women. Years ago. After that I stopped being a Democrat then I became a pro-Freedom pro-America anti-Communist guy.
redditaccountiuse 6y ago
I just browse most of these subs and don't post much, but I value freedom of expression and these actions by reddit only push me to be more vocally on the side they don't like.
Posting in this forum is my small way of saying I believe in the freedom to express and have conversations even if they're on "controversial" subjects.
DaBrokenMeta 6y ago
Ugh, I don't vote... i'm just here for the theory and power building reads (:
Hope we get unbanned/"quarantined" tho. Kind of annoying, but probably just means now more than ever, the world needs TRP
the_unseen_one 6y ago
The great thing about America is that most people view our First Amendment rights as sacred, and extend those even to private companies. It may take a little while for the people to realize, but they HATE censoring speech solely because someone, somewhere hates it. The vocal minority of the left has been very good at infiltrating various groups and the media to spread the illusion that they are actually the majority, but they speak for neither liberals nor conservatives. Their time is coming.

Long time RP lurker here.
This subreddit has helped me come to uncomfortable, but useful and transformative conclusions about my own life and society at large. It's helped me become a better version of myself and create positive momentum not only in my own life, but also in the lives of several people around me.
That being said, is there any way we can take some action against this quarantining? Whether that's signing an open letter or a forum where we can share positive transformations that young men have experienced as a result of this forbidden knowledge; I feel compelled to contribute what I can to combat this shortsighted, inane act of censorship.
There's been a lot of talk in this thread and others about the Streisand Effect and the effects censorship has on energizing a dormant base. I can unequivocally say that this has lit a fire for me. But how can we actually help?

Also, would definitely like to find a solution to accessing TRP on mobile. If anyone has a workaround (other than Forums.Red and TRP.Red both of which seem to be a likely future for us anyway) please post it here so people can see!

It is pretty wild. I mentioned to someone the other day TRP was apolitcal & they accused me as if I was lying; it was the opposite.

I still hold onto my last elections NDP vote, and I know there are liberals here, but more like Chris Hitchens liberal, as opposed to Barner the Dinosaur liberal

Correct. That's definitely probably more my leanings. But it doesn't matter to me it's like my religious affiliation, it doesn't affect my views on these subjects or alter my opinion of anyone here. I'm here because the wider issues discussed on this forum effect all of us & I appreciate the sacrifices & risks the EC's & all of you take keeping this place running.
Karanduar 6y ago
I don't think this has anything to do with left or right.. Conservatives have shown that they are just as clueless as liberals or lefties. When anyone group or individual thinks that they are in the 'right' and the other is 'wrong', the whole thing goes to shit. Hence polarization and nothing gets done. Conservatives have the white house, senate and the house... Do you see them governing or just floundering? I think this blue wave will come, not because it is better, but because the conservative wave led to nothing..

Conservatives have lost their way.. They should read up on Adam Smith and other classics.. It was republicans/conservatives who enacted social security, who laid the groundwork for many public services. Somehow at some point in time they became the party for companies and wealthy people instead of all people.. They should get back to that..

Also I was under the impression that TRP was neither left nor right.. One thing I like about TRP is that I see people from all layers of society and political affiliation. Please do not make this quarantine about left or right and polarize yet another discussion. Shouting conservative or liberal has not helped a single debate.. EVER..
thirdincomestream 6y ago
Sorry, but I have no other way to view this other than "about left or right."
Is it coincedence that this sub, along with others who dared to challenge the status quo, were quarantined when the Kavanaugh stuff reached a critical mass? You'll have to forgive me, but I just don't believe in coincedences much these days.
While men's rights and the sorts of discussions we have on this sub aren't necessarily right wing beliefs, I don't see the left coming rushing to our defense. Actually, the left embraced feminism, which seeks to harm men. The right may not be our ultimate ally, but it is preferable than the boot of the militant left, in my humble opinion.
[deleted]
bsutansalt 6y ago
Generally TRP is not, but Reddit and your "betters" in Silicon Valley who are in charge of social media companies, the media at large, and academia, have all collectively decided to become the arbiters of truth and freedom, so anyone right of say... Stalin or Hitler ...is now the alt-right according to them who must be killed, assault, or silenced for wrongthink.
If you don't agree with Stalinist or Gobbles' tactics, then you ARE a Conservative now by today's standards.
New_Guard 6y ago
Stalin was far left. Hitler was a little bit right. This sub is sometimes too sloppy with comparisons and analogies, which detracts from our message.
bsutansalt 6y ago
Give these a watch. You may change your mind about Hitler and fascism being to the right of the political spectrum:

trumpismagaman20201 6y ago
Stalin and Hitler were both far left. Hitler was a "national socialist." It's right there in his party name. SOCIALIST.

America's right-wing is unique in the world. No one loves freedom like we do.
New_Guard 6y ago
And North Korea is the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea", but it's anything but democratic. TRP is about looking deeper than the labels the powers that be put on things.
barb9212 6y ago
Problems arise when people hunker down and go far left or far right. Everyone picks a political party and believes whatever they want to hear and not what they see with there own eyes. The same way conservatives view liberals as communists, liberals view conservatives as fascists. In reality both political parties are full of shit.
7thAnvil 6y ago
Which political party in 2018 would you say is most involved in censoring speech on the internet?
barb9212 6y ago
Neither political party. Now if you talk about the parties supporters it's easy to say liberals. Then again you have ask yourself, why is that? Are all conservatives being censored (no proof of this). All speech is not protected. Obscenity, Fighting words ,Defamation (including libel and slander), Incitement to imminent lawless action, True threats are just some. Alex Jones does this on the daily. Now if I ask which side, left or right, who do you think supports him?
[deleted] 6y ago
[deleted]
barb9212 6y ago
The fact you compared Jones to CNN is really alarming.
"A lot of liberal women, as you know, the new thing is having a jihadi... There’s nothing sexier than a jihadi because it’s so fun to have him step on your head and kick you in the gut. Now, if the man treats you good and loves Jesus, he’s bad. But if he kicks you in the teeth and stomps on you, it’s liberal, it’s trendy, you go smoke hookah with him, and it’s fun."

sqerl 6y ago
As a praxeology, TRP is neither. However, the 2016 US Presidential Election brought new behaviors to observe and new strategies to develop. Ideally, it would remain apolitical.
During the 2016 election cycle there was a seismic change in how the major social media players were utilized to influence the populace. The changes were small at first. e.g. Google's auto-correct went from organic results to programmed responses. Google news stopped showing bipartisan articles and were mostly pro-left. Twitter's shadow banning was mostly against right leaning accounts. Reddit's politics was bought out and politicized for 99.9% pro-left viewpoints.
These changes and more impacted the social media landscape. The online community was being segregated into left/right. Even being an independant was difficult as the methods being used were designed to segregate.
Since the election, the race baiting attacks, cries of me too, accusations of anyone having "wrong think" are bigots, misogynists, racists, nazis, etc. Even publically denying the accusations were met with claims of "bias", therefore guily as charged. The vitriol is never ending online.
Now, if you're left leaning, you may not notice or care about the above. If you're right leaning, you're done be falsely accused for some shill to gain fake internet points.
So, in the world of TRP, we all know it's about sex and sex is about power. We are watching a no-holds barred cat fight on the left. Forced gender quotas for CEOs, "women are to be believed" (no matter the facts), metoo, etc. These are tools of the female imperative and left leaning politics. Hollywood is quick to pounce of Kavenaugh but those same people celebrate Weinstein. Hypocrisy. If it was about equality or justice, due process would be allowed to play its course. Instead, it's about perception. Twisting words, double speak, innuendo, and dirty politics.
Politics, genders, sexual orientation have all been weaponized in the online arena of virtual ideology. This arena has modified the rules of engagement in the US and abroad. Ignoring the ramifications of the changing landscape is at your own peril. Know yourself and your enemy lest you become a victim of someone else's power play.

What do you make of Russia's links to The_Donald?
sqerl 6y ago
Define "links"... the troll farm?
900+ accounts banned connected to it and yet, T_D continues to hum along doing what it does, a 24/7 Trump rally.
I think the impact on T_D was insignificant at best. I think anti-trumpers make a bigger deal about it because it makes them feel good about the supposed Russian meddling.
It's my opinion that the politics sub being litterally bought out by the left has had far more influence. Thus, the "russian" connection was used as a cover for reddits own SJW bias. In other words, "Russia" probably doesn't give a shit about reddit or t_d. Edgy shitlords having fun like to screw around on social media. The far bigger problem are the grown adults trying to gain and maintain political power thru manipulation. "Russia" is nothing more than Lysol on a pile of shitty political games.
It's also of my opinion that Reddit will continue to enforce social conditioning thru social media. The message from all social media sites is: for the right price, your ad can go here. For the right price, they will also make opinions go away.
TRP is obviously one that doesn't fit the SJW narrative and will go away after their cost analysis. Sadly, for them, we won't be deplatformed if the sub is banned. Which means they have to figure out of much ad revenue they'll lose if TRP is banned. They have an even bigger problem with t_d in that regard. "Russia"? Pffft. Just a convenient, fabricated moral justification, for being scared of other people's opinions in a highly contentious political environment.

Dropped in to say that I subscribed just because I heard this sub-reddit was "quarantined" (see: censored -- I couldn't access this on mobile).
I never subscribed because, back when I looked through this subreddit, I agreed with maybe 10% of what is said in here and say maybe 25% of posts are hate speech or borderline and I don't want that negativity in my life. But people deserve to read and decide for themselves. TRP is also a gateway to various male right movements (MRA, Asian Masculinity, MGTOW, incels) where those who don't exactly agree with TRP can go.
Anyway, I'm sure one of you guys have said it better than me and I already know y'all have backup plans for when the other shoe drops. Just dropping in for support. Proud now to rep "Yeah, I read TRP", to anyone who dares to ask.
SoulRedemption 6y ago
As much as you your thoughts are appreciated it's best not mention in real life you read TRP. Unless you are openly and overtly standing up for Mens rights. Even then, saying you follow TRP leaves a bad taste in everyone's mind. It's because people have it wrong. Do be careful.

The quarantine is ostensibly a result of moral judgement by the admins that this sub teaches evil. Their utter lack of commitment toward addressing the supposed moral iniquity, first posting a half assed rebuke in the form of an poorly vetted talking head, then removing it, deepens the sense that they aren't quite sure what part of the communities content they are meant to disagree with.
It is their duty, their absolute moral obligation to shine a public light on what they see wrong with our speech before they snuff it out.
theglassisbroken2 6y ago
Remember when Reddit's co-founder bragged about free speech? When asked what the Founding Fathers would have thought of reddit: "A bastion of free speech on the World Wide Web? I bet they would like it[...]" - Alexis Ohanian
...only to make a complete U-turn later on? "Neither Alexis nor I created reddit to be a bastion of free speech, but rather as a place where open and honest discussion can happen." - spez
I remember, and it's what brought me to this site in the first place.
I won't be surprised if they make another U-turn and argue "Neither Alexis nor I created reddit to be a place where open and honest discussion can happen."

The truth is that reddit staff didn't give this more than thirty seconds worth of thought. Some butthurt intern wanted to answer back, using root access instead of a regular comment or post, and googled the first thing xe could find that contradicted us.
Lo, and behold, it turned out that this was composed of the ideas of a creepy harrasser, a genocide advocate, a man hater, and a domestic abuse apologist. And that's just two people.
Anyone think that's a coincidence?
100% of our ideological opponents are morally bankrupt. All of them. The ones who appear clean just haven't been caught yet. Everything they accuse us of, they themselves are guilty of.
DARVO: Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. This is what they do.
/u/spez doesn't care about any of that, of course. He's not truly ashamed because the possibility has never entered his tiny, self-absorbed mind that he might, just might be wrong. No, he's not ashamed, he's only embarrassed.
He just doesn't want to look bad.
That's why the link silently vanished, with no retraction or apology. He doesn't have the courage to take responsibility for his mistakes, or those of the team that reports to him. He is every inch the disgusting spineless manchild that his physical appearance would suggest. Stereotypes exist for a reason.
That is why there can never be a debate or open dialogue with this sort of leftist human headache. Not simply because they lack the imagination and mental discipline to imagine someone else's worldview, but because they are so lacking in courage that they bear to sit and listen to someone contradict them, even for long enough to await their turn to speak.
Being contradicted fills them with such pain that they cannot imagine the source of it to be anything but pure evil.
The good news is that we don't need them. We only ever used their resources out of convenience, not necessity. We have among us all the expertise and initiative required to build for ourselves whatever we need.
All you have to do is show willing.

Funniest part of that: The woman that said she believed that the population should be artificially set at only 10% male or some shit. Can she not see that that would lead to the ultimate patriarchy? Almost every dude would be living like a fucking warlord. They would literally give zero fucks about the women. Every woman would be part of a harem and would do literally anything their new daddy wanted.
Second funniest part: The idea that a civilization composed of 90% women would actually be able to sustain itself. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Good luck doing all those jobs that don't involve policing men's tone at work, indoctrinating children, or pushing paper around government bureaucracies. By day 3 the garbage would be overflowing onto the streets and shit water would be coming out of the pipes into their bath tubs.
Edit: Third funniest part: Leftists are now arguing under the banner of "it's a private company and it can do whatever it wants. You have no rights here." Gotta say I definitely did not see that about face coming.

It wouldn't even take that long. We live in a "just in time" society with goods being delivered on a regular basis. The grocery stores would be empty in about 2 weeks, and from there... they begin to starve. The world would quickly find out what it's like for the poor living in Venezuela. How long it'll be before they start eating their pets is anybody's guess.
antariusz 6y ago
We don’t have to “guess”.
Fluffy the purse puppy owned by a New York City socialite would survive as long as pets survived in Venezuela.

Selexus 6y ago
Recent (unsubstantiated) reports her in the UK have indicated that the average household has 9 meals available in the house at any one time. That's 3 days worth of food before basic groceries need to be sourced (from empty stores)
Hence the understanding that during any form of disaster/extreme event we are 72hrs from social unrest.
I remember reading on a preppers site that a lot of governmental disaster planning revolves around this 72hrs window.
There was a TV mini series (mocumentary) about a decade ago that dealt with the fictional events that unfolded from a country wide blackout. Sure enough violence and social breakdown happened very quickly in their depiction of events.
beginner_ 6y ago
On some level I actually understand preppers. I should for sure have more essential stuff stored from food, water, batteries, flashlights, gas,... but not everyone lives in the country side and can afford at least 1 large extra room for all the stuff.
EDIT: If you have the guts for it, all you need to store is guns and bullets. The rest you can then get for free.
ParanoidKasparov 6y ago
Water is the important one. Cleaning and more importantly hydration knock you out after the first day if your doing anything physical in most of the U.S. It doesn't take a 10x10 room either unless you want to go extreme 6 month prepper. For most its just a filled up food pantry with non perishables and some sort of water purification setup enough for say a few weeks or month. Maybe a portable generator setup if you want to pay the electrician 400 bucks to set one up. I live in the Midwest and honestly every house here can and should have an independent power supply I.E. Generator solar etc. especially if you have family on medical devices Like I do. If we ever get to the point where its months until govt. food trucks show up its the guns time so the food part wont matter until you find yourself eating to much human.

Not sure what you mean about "you guys are next" but I can tell you this, if I am right about what you think, we have been preparing too ;)
Sir_PressedMemories 6y ago
The largest population of men is currently white men, once you get them docile, feminized and basically, under control, you move on to the next demographic and so on and so on.
4matting 6y ago
When they're done with the white males, the hispanic and black men are next on the menu. It's only a matter of time.
We need to stand together.
Winterknight82475125 6y ago
Heh, they ALREADY got the blacks, they destroyed our communities 20-30 odd years ago, pumping drugs into our communities, adding welfare to promote "Progress" i.e. co-dependancy, pumping our communities with tons of illegal immigration which pushes out the black population from jobs etc, then well there are drugs, might as well sell that, well, now the state can lock up all the men, which means no fathers which means rise of the matriarchy which equals the sorry state that the black community has been in since Nixon.

They're working on everyone else now, especially seeing how easy it was to destroy the black community. I wouldnt be suprised if they saw what happened and made their methods MORE efficient, and tweaked it so that they can have complete control over the men in all of western society
TheObservationalist 6y ago
Yeah they helped you black guys pretty much to death. Thank a liberal!
4matting 6y ago
Reminds me of an article I read a while back, I think it was on the negromanosphere.com. Basically the writer made the argument that what is happening and what is going to happen to America, already happened to black America.
I'll try to find it, and share it with you.
Edit: Found it. It was on returnofkings.com. I'm not from the US, so I'm curious to know what you think of this. http://www.returnofkings.com/2090/how-black-america-has-predicted-our-future
Winterknight82475125 6y ago
Yeah, a lot of black people already know this. The black Community is a Matriarchy now. The same forces that created this are using similar tactics to control. . .men everywhere else. Obviously they aren't using the same tactics, just similar ones as they've probably learned/run into problems (like the first amendment). But the End game is control. That much is obvious.

Honestly, I think he is right. Reddit's staff should be totally free to manage its website as the please. However, in a ideal world, if reddit bans subreddits people should stop visiting reddit and try to sabotage the website for being dictatorial and not allowing freedom speech. We all know that this isn't happening since most people don't believe in freedom speech.
Anyways, I have never understood why redpill people would come to the reddit. Don't you realize that by being in this forum we are giving money to the same people who would like to make us disappear from the world? I strongly feel that the best option that we have is to create and own website.

It's funny hiw libtards retread to the libertarian standpoint if it fits their narrative. It's even more funny, that nobody is arguing against the company's right to do whatever the fuck they want. We aren't arguing on a legislative level, but on a moral level and if a company with a product and a size like reddit should feel morally abliged to follow and implement the ideas that made the USA the country it is. Typing this as a German btw.
Completely letting aside the fact, that "dangerous" but wrong ideas should always be openly available so they can be discussed and refuted and so they loose the mystical aura that surrounds them. Provided you regard TRP as a place where dangerous and false ideas are spread.
poohead3 6y ago
Wrongthink is suppressed not because it's offensive, but because it's usually true.

You're right, but there's no reason to resort to name calling. In a no bullshit forum, that's just bullshit.

"We", says Mr 1-Year Old account? That's rich.
We do things differently around here - always have, always will. Content is what matters. Bring content. Scattered insults, emojis here and there, goofy jokes, toilet humor. But overall content is what matters.
Nobody needs you here being a fuckhead concern trolling, gatekeeping and tone policing. Either you have something to add or keep your dicksuckers shut.
Flawless44 6y ago
Man. The idea of not insulting people you're conversing with is not something discovered recently.
It improves quality, content, and let's people take you seriously.
You don't have to listen to me. You're welcome to rant about libtards and snowflakes and dick-whatever's. It just makes you look like a fool, and violates rule 5 of this subreddit.
Winterknight82475125 6y ago
No one is taking you seriously. Time for you to figure out why. We can't do it for you.

Good luck. . .?

If quoting the rules doesn't do it for you, nothing will. Good luck to you too.
Here, you can have your passive aggressive questionmark back.

The worst part is I always thought that MGTOW, MRA and TRP subreddits are eventually going to get purged, because of the eventual turn to family friendliness of companies that want to maximize their profit.
But all this time I thought TRP will be the last light to go, since it deals "only" with social skills and self-improvement.
I am still trying to wrap my head around why out of "openly political" MRA, "pointing out women are dangerous" MGTOW and "be the best you can, and become attractive to women as side effect" TRP, reddit decided to go for TRP's neck first.
Where does that leave us? Did they try to test the waters of the manospehere, by pick up seemingly least political sub, to see what the reaction would be? Or do they see us as the most dangerous one, because we point out uncomfortable truths about female psychology?
I always thought I would never involve myself with the political aspect of manospehere, sticking to self-improvement aspect of TRP, and self-preservation aspect of MGTOW. It always seemed to me that the "forces that be" only really had problem with the vocal political aspect of manosphere. Treating the self-improvement part of it with indifference, or at most as a butt of their jokes.
But right now, it is starting to dawn on me that what they have a problem with is the idea of masculinity itself. Or rather, that no matter how progressive women want to be, they still find masculinity attractive. The MRA and MGTOW being a manifestation of that masculinity.
Is it perhaps because they couldn't change women, they decided to change men?
As it seems, we may not have the luxury of choosing to sit this one out.
Noblefiz 6y ago
I'm glad you are our moderator, dude. Thank you for all your hard work.
In response to your question, I currently do not believe any of the Reddit admin are in any position to dictate to their users what the "truth" is, or how to be a "man". Both are subjective.
The reddit admin need to understand what it means to be impartial and be able and willing to see multiple angles of a discussion before attempting to push their personal ideologies on their users.
Edit: a word
NomBok 6y ago
Oh but the new thing going around is the left using the term "his truth" and "her truth". THE truth is no longer required. Because everyone apparently must be believed now.

If I was a spindly little pencil-neck nerd and my wife was one of the studliest he-man athletes on the planet, I would stfu about how to be a man. But that's just me.
Auvergnat 6y ago
The admins know this. That's why this sub has survived so far. Problem is more the fact that having a platform where "hate speech" is supported is not good for bringing in advertisers. So they gotta find a way to shut it down, while still promoting impartiality... Not easy.
ANGRY_ATHEIST 6y ago
Advertisers target women, because women buy more than 80% of all goods and services. This is an interesting fact considering the supposed "wage gap". How is it that men make 70%+ of the income, yet more than 80% of the money is spent by women? It's not difficult to do the math there.
Since women are the main targets for advertising, any platform that goes against the female sexual strategy becomes not as profitable for most advertisers. Like it or not, this is more than likely just a business decision on admin's part.
There's probably some deeper RP truths in all that, but I'll let someone more endorsed do that write-up (if it hasn't been done already)
TrainedHelplessness 6y ago
There's this classic piece: https://thelastpsychiatrist.com/2014/05/cyberbll.html
If women are unsafe on the internet, as recipients of bullying and death threats, wouldn't the easy solution be to promote anonymous accounts for women?
That doesn't work, because companies need to advertise to women and know who they are. So they implement real names policies and we get articles associating anonymity with creepy male behavior.
Rian_Stone 6y ago
Too bad. I thought for all the users frothing at the mouth in here, one was actually going to create the content they are angry about possibly losing.
Lib3rtarianSocialist 6y ago
The wage gap is a myth. But if you meant the above proves that, then no. Don't use that argument against a feminist in case they use a little logic and then it'll be embarrassing for you when otherwise you'd be right.
ANGRY_ATHEIST 6y ago
The wage gap is only a myth in the way it's applied by feminists. Men DO make more money than women overall, but that is because more men work than women do. They try to say that it's because women are paid less to do the same work that men do, which is the myth.
Lib3rtarianSocialist 6y ago
Correct. But look at the words too. Wage gap means difference is wage, which doesn't exist. There is instead an earnings gap.
ANGRY_ATHEIST 6y ago
That's why I put "wage gap" in quotes.

They will never apologize because they don't think they're doing anything wrong.
redpillschool Admin 6y ago
Well they did just remove their mistake so there's another tacit admission...
jcrpta 6y ago
Thing is, in their world the mistake wasn't pointing potential readers at the opinion of someone who thinks there's no such thing as domestic violence against men.
Their mistake was pointing potential readers at the opinion of someone who's been accused of sexual harassment.

All of the SUNYs are little more than state funded indoctrination camps. Stony Brook is no exception.
Herdsengineers 6y ago
I'll say it again, the Liberal/Progress Democrat agenda is about enforcing conformity with their ideals and vision of what society should be. They are couching it in other terms like equality and justice, but it's really just them fooling the masses and getting the masses to conform to their agenda by appealing to the greedy side of human nature (wealth envy and class warfare), and fooling people with emotional arguments not based on fact (modern feminism).
I'm starting to see signs people are waking up though, especially with just how outrageously and obviously false these Kavanaugh accusations have been. The masses are at least scratching their heads, seeing something's not right. Now might be just the time when they're open to other ideas if someone can present it in a way that doesn't come across as just another angry, male, racist woman hating guy.

Hey guys, i just found out about the quarantine. And got VERY worried when i tried to see the subreddit on my mobile, to only find it unlisted.
So, I am a bit late to the game here. What is the plan? It seems to me, that we are rapidly losing the fight here. Mostly because we do not see free-thinking as somethign we should have to fight for. It is truly truly worrying times for men. When social spaces for us to interact and share ideas die out.
Personally, i am in a difficult time in my life. And the fact that censorship and the shutting down of ideas and anythign resembling masculinity online and in the media, only makes me more isolated in my social and personal life.
Anyway, what is the plan? What are peoples thoughts? 300k subscribers is a LOT. Are we going to just sit here and wait until the subreddit is banned? Roosh is leaving too. The manosphere seems to be dying. What is going on?
We need some leaders, badly. Ones that are not afriad to stand up and speak out and suffer the consequences against the tide.
ReasonFreak 6y ago
Roosh isn't really leaving he's just moving on to different things.
jcrpta 6y ago
It's way too late.
Reddit's already framed any appeal in terms of "you're guilty; persuade us that you're going to change your wicked ways".

furcryingoutloud 6y ago
This may sound weird, but I actually like that little quarantined tag. It kind of makes the sub look badass.
Personally, I am not political. Oh I have my opinions, but they don't have anything to do with left or right, top or bottom. To me, all this arguing about parties and left and right is just political rhetoric to keep people fighting amongst themselves and have the stage set for them to do what they want, as usual.
There is a small group of people who actually make decisions about what path the world is taking. Whether inadvertently or in collusion, it always boils down to real power is always based in a small group. Does anyone here think that the people with real power give a shit about who we like and don't like? The left and the right?
The left and right are simply terms that are exploited to keep the flock arguing about nothing while the decision makers are left alone to decide for the rest of us. Look at the big picture guys. The big picture is what it has always been. If you don't look out for yourself, nobody will do it for you.
omega_dawg93 6y ago
this. this. this.
thank you for typing what i also think. in the USA, EVERYTHING has to be put in a little 'box' so one side can identify with it or against it.
even when talking about POSITIVE MASCULINITY, there are multiple users who HAVE to label it as left or right. why? when does being a man align with political views?
the real issue is feminism. instead of trying to claim positive masculinity for political purposes, MEN need to step-up and stop feminism from killing femininity; it can't kill masculinity.

Only the weak must censor. Only the weak are afraid of ideas. Only the weak are afraid of the free exchange of information. Only the weak stifle dissent through authoritarian heavy handed tactics. Only the weak are afraid of strength.
If any of you motherfuckers vote for the "pussy hat"/SJW/Antifa representative candidate, expect much much more of the same. This is some Orwellian Bolshevik level bullshit going on.
[deleted] 6y ago
I'm still shocked >unnamed sub< hasn't been banned. After Charlottesville there was an endless stream of calls for violence against "Nazis".
Many people, including myself, made calls for calm, that having an activist group present throwing items and injuring protesters was more likely the reason behind one individual feeling aggrieved than some ideology. And we were permanently banned from >unnamed sub< for being, according to the moderators, "Nazi sympathiser".
You can't make this up: arguing against incitement of violence resulted in bans from >unnamed sub<.
The administrators, of course, must know that >unnamed sub< is an active hate sub which condones incitement to violence. Yet there's been no quarantining of that sub. Even though that sub breaks a major rule of the site.
loveladee 6y ago
at what point is the redpill ever pro-nazi. Half the time the people on this sub are saying that race doesn't fucking matter, and that is always about improving yourself as a male. I could understand the accusations of misogyny , but like i've never seen this place as "alt-right" or "neo-nazi". I read fucking Marx and leftist shit constantly. What's with all this political catch-alling?
[deleted]
[deleted]
[deleted] 6y ago
My comment wasn't about redpill, it was a different sub. And it wasn't about Naziism, it was about calls for violence being tolerated, even condoned, on other main subs, yet in spite of that being a very clear breach of site rules - it is this sub that gets quarantined.
The point is the admins are not applying the rules equally and fairly. In fact the site rules are largely a complete joke and don't mean anything.
It's like most legal jurisdictions where the law is so vague and unequally applied that whether or not you go to prison comes largely down to whether you happened to annoy the wrong (powerful) person or not.
BlackFallout 6y ago
Can I have a clue what sub that is?
[deleted] 6y ago
The bot removes any references to other subs, presumably because the sub is viewed with enough suspicion by the admins.
I'd love to be explicit but let's just say it's a main (default) sub and it centres around discussions that pertain to non-US events - although US events do find their way into that sub anyway.

I see this differently. I think there is a REDPILL admin Mole or two at heart that secretly decided to act as a double agent and place that particular tongue and cheek link for two-fold reasonings. This tells me the ban does not come from the lower admins but from those even higher up and the admins themselves more than likely men have read as much information and are advent readers of REDPILL. Thus secret followers of the ideaology. So reading between the lines, the link/line was purposely put there as tongue and cheek against reddits higher uppers by a redpill Mole only to force it back down quickly. Which is what they wanted anyway. Thanks Admin. This is "Q" level espionage. I like it. We have some insiders but I fear its not enough...
Rian_Stone 6y ago
proxy war for the battles men should be fighting on their own anyways.
Beat into your head via sidebar is the idea that you can't listen to what she says, watch what she does.
I refuse to put that aside, when some rando san fran guy is telling me nonsense. That link affected me as much as the reddit ads do
novalentineforyou 6y ago
Some things are subjective. The existence of male victims of abuse is not subjective. Fuck you, Reddit admins.
CainPrice 6y ago
I think that the removal of that stupid link wasn't the Reddit administration "recanting", but correcting an obvious error. That link to Stoney Brook made the quarantine of The Red Pill look very obviously personal.
If Reddit just did a general content review and made a list: "Here are 27 subreddits that violate our non-quarantined content policies and qualify for quarantine", then quarantined the list of subreddits, that would appear professional and impersonal.
But when somebody sticks a link to a liberal, feminized, healthy masculinity university program on the quarantine page for The Red Pill, that demonstrates that the quarantine wasn't some professional, impersonal enforcement of content policies. It was personal.
Whoever posted that link wasn't some office administrator who was enforcing content policies. It was somebody who intimately knew what The Red Pill was supposed to about and was posting an alternative source. Essentially saying, "Yup. I'm quarantining you assholes. And here's a link for how to be real men, instead of being losers like you."
With the Stoney Brook link on the quarantine notice, it was clear that the quarantine wasn't mere administrative content enforcement, but a very personal attack from someone who knew what The Red Pill was about and disagreed with the viewpoints.
I don't think the removal of the link is the administration recanting. They're just backpedaling from an emotional response by whatever administrator or intern pushed the quarantine button and typed the notice, to try to make the quarantine appear more official and impersonal, and less of a personal opinionated attack.
Limekill 6y ago
I concur. Thats why I abandoned reddit - because I could feel this was coming.
Terdmuffin 6y ago
I think it was more than that. I think it was done to antagonize us into lashing out so we would make ourselves look bad. An ettrmpt to garner justification not just for the quarantine but for an outright ban. I think we were being baited.
AllahHatesFags 6y ago
This is all just sjw admins throwing a hissy fit over Kavanaugh. I really hope there is a supreme court case that bans this kind of censorship by companies like reddit, Facebook, Google, etc. and the ruling is written by Kavanaugh.

LEGALIZEMEDICALMETH 6y ago
I’ve been here for a long time. All the way back since 2013 or so (over the course of several different reddit accounts). There were a few years in between where I was unsure if the ideas here were right or even morally true. But this has basically solidified my stance. Every young man needs to learn the knowledge we have here. It is so undefinably valuable. Not only with girls, or careers but with life. Before TRP, masculinity was slowing fading away and being redefined by people with destructive motives and often those who weren’t even men at all. This is one of the last few places on the internet, and maybe in all of western society, that places truth and reason above emotion and political correctness. The things I’ve learned here have already benefited me and will continue to benefit me for the rest of my life. Lifting, learning how to lead, understanding the importance of having goals. Learning how to deal with women was only a small part of it to be honest. But the powers that be want us shut down because of “misogyny”? What bullshit. Ironically the men here are probably around women alot more then those who decided we were misogynists. Women and men are different. Is recognizing a scientific truth misogyny? Should we ignore it? Cover it up and act like the sexes are completely identical with no differences? Society has sunk so low when lies are now favorable to reality. I don’t hate women. I doubt many men here hate women. I’m sure there are some who do, but there are also plenty of women who hate men in feminist circles. I don’t see any cries of outrage to shut them down. And I’ll support their right to hate men if they choose to do so for nothing other than the fact that I value free speech above forced good-think. I have no interest in banning ideas of any kind. If what we are saying here is so dangerous that it must be locked away and kept out of sight, then there must be something truthful then. Because why ban ideas that hold no sway? At the very least I’m looking forward to this: being one of the last real men in a feminized society full of the ignorant and blind.

Frankly, i do not think it will be as good as you make out. I myself feel alienated and increasingly more alone in a world which seems more and more full of lies. Being made aware of certain truths and the inner workings of the world does not make you feel more free or powerful. In my eyes it gives you an extra burden and responsibility.

Meh. I can't be the victim of abuse. This whole pity party shit doesn't fit our MO. We aren't MRAs; we're fucking vikings. We're the assholes that niceguys who consider themselves "victims" like to complain women always pick over them.
At least we used to be, back when I used this sub frequently. I guess I shouldn't presume what it's become in the past year.
Whisper 6y ago
You are incorrect, though sloppy thinking.
You cannot be the victim of abuse. Other men can.
It is not size and strength that protect you from abuse. It is your social ability to stand up for yourself, or leave. The fact that some men do not have this ability is the sort of reason that TRP exists at all. We are here to teach men to seize back their own power and teach them to stand up for themselves.
The goal is to turn men back into fucking vikings.
Now do you understand?
Ratcheta 6y ago
To think I almost attended Stony Brook.. Granted, engineering is not "men's studies", but still.
That said, I do not think anyone has the moral authority to declare their viewpoint correct without any supporting documentation from multiple, repeated experiments. And even then that doesn't give you the right to shut down opposition because your view may not hold forever as new evidence may come to light.
The line between people shitposting insensitive jokes and discussing sensitive topics is fine but both should be allowed in their respective spaces. Your speech is free, but if you shout n-bombs in a predominantly black neighborhood, expect consequences. Shout it in private or among friends? No one should care.
FindTheBus 6y ago
I'm totally with you guys (as much as I love making fun of your population of tryhard wannabe lifestyle coaches), but if I were on their staff I never would have recanted an iota. Now there's blood in the water.
