I never would've even realized this before. Pure pedestalization. They know absolutely nothing about this girl other than her picture and a two line description of her side of the story. It would be one thing if they just told her "she was cute" (even then don't do that). It's the secret sauce of fawning admiration over her that makes it so painful to read!
