hey, what a coincidence, mine did that too. We got together towards the end of college, then she didn't want to do long distance so we split. She called me up about 2 years later when she was in the area and we fucked for a few days, then flew back and forth to see each other for a few months, then she didn't want to do long distance so we split. Then she called me up early COVID and we reconnected, then she flew out to see me and we fucked for a few days, and this time (approaching 30) she seemed genuinely interested in a serious relationship. But by that point, I was so pissed at how she'd used me and been fucking other guys in between (literally only 2 in that time, which was less than I had, but it still made me too uncomfortable to get over), that I kept bringing it up in a cringe-y way and called her a slut and such. She stuck around another 6 months in spite of me making her cry hysterically like once every two weeks. I eventually went a bit too far while crazy drunk and she ended things.
The whole time, I thought she was stunning and I told her so (she was maybe a 7-8 in college, but by the time we split, she was a 6 at best, probably a 5, but had a body that was exactly my type). Turns out she mostly only stuck around as long as she did because I made her feel good about herself, and made her pussy feel even better. But then she somehow got the idea that what I was saying was objectively true, rather than subjectively from my oneitis goggles, and became convinced she could do better. She blocked me on the one social media platform I'm vaguely "on", so I don't know how she's doing now, but I can see based on post counts that she's only posted one thing in the past year and a half (after previously posting something about once a month), so I'm guessing she's miserable. The better part of me is sad about that, but my more vindictive side is happy. I thought for a while that she'd come back, because that's what she'd always done, but at this point I'm fairly certain she won't. But she hasn't even hit 30 yet. When that happens I wouldn't be too surprised if I hear from her again.

The reason why men are drawn to youth in a woman is due to it being tied to fertility. Even if a man does not consciously want children, he will have a biological drive to reproduce, and that drive will mean that he will want the best chance possible of spreading his genes. And this desire will be even stronger with a man who is consciously looking to start a family.
Also, there is the saying about "growing old together," which implies that you are not already old.

These women pretend that they will be that rare magical exception as they ignore the admonishments from the older nasties that they replaced. They will ride the carousel for as many rotations as their looks will allow. When their looks start to fade, they will make an ever increasing series of compromises about the men they will accept, the treatment they will tolerate, the kinks they will accommodate.
Anything just to keep riding, just one more time.
Then comes the day when all the compromises fail, all the deviant sex acts aren't enough, all the men have moved on to younger and hotter nasties. They've become the women they replaced in their youth, and now they bemoan the very process they were enjoying.

Yup. Men and women being promiscuous is fundamentally different. Women don’t have to do anything special to get sex; even the “sex addict” girl that went viral on the “whatever” podcast was at best a 5, and probably a 3-4. How many men who are a 5 or less suffer from sex addiction? Probably not a lot, because men of equal SMV struggle to get any.
They know that to keep a man, they have to offer more than a wet hole. Instead of being someone that a man would want to be with, though, they just coast on being a woman.

I went to rehab for substance abuse treatment and during my intake, they were screening for "cross-addictions" (a common problem with drug addicts, when they get sober they often continue their addictive ways, just with something other than a substance). When they asked about sex addiction, I laughed and said, "look at me, what do you think?" Then they pretended to be confused and made me actually give an answer. No. I do not have a sex addiction. I definitely would if I could, but I can't, so I don't.

Thinking again, maybe they actually were confused. It was a woman doing my intake, and women are delusionally unaware of how difficult it is for men to get sex. I brought this up with a former plate once and she disagreed, saying, "none of my guy friends have any difficulty getting laid." She's implying that because of the fact that men only want young women (she calls them girls, which is sexist if you say it as man, like literally enough to have you dismissed from the workplace) she is considering NOT getting married. She's trying to fool herself (and her readers) that she has a choice about whether to get married or not. She's basically saying, because all men are paedophiles, I'm considering not getting married at all. Let that sink in. She is looking around for justifications to explain away the truth that she has realised on a subconscious level (that she will not be getting married), but is trying to process on a conscious level.
This is a cope. She's not going to get married....BECAUSE no man wants to marry her. Women control access to sex, men control access to marriage.
The fact that women NEED to find some reasons to explain why they are not (and never will be) getting married explains most of the misandry that you hear esp from Karens. They need to believe that all men are trash and paedos as cope, to make it look like they rejected all of mankind, rather than the other way around.
I am minded of the great philosopher Betran Russel. He said "All of us are born insane - some remain that way".
It's a profound insight. He means that logic and reason must be learnt, and it is hard work. Men have a much better grasp of logic and reason and use it every day. Women tend to transition straight from an easy childhood, straight into teens, where they are treated like queens. They then transition into hot teens, where they given everything. Then they transition into young ladies where we continue to treat them like kids. They never really grow up. By the time the wall comes around, they have been living a life on the charity of men. Its too late to develop logic and reason.

Minor (fun) quibble in that most women can get married IF THEY PUT IN EFFORT similar to at least average men: If they learned social skills to meet men, set their sights on mere "average men", and had something to offer, then (some) men would wife them up. A minor quibble with your minor quibble: you say that women can get married if they put in effort. It looks to me that the average woman can get married with no effort whatsover. The men do all the effort. All they need to do is put on a dress and sit there and smile. Men do the running, we ask them out, plan dates, pick them up, pay for dinner etc etc etc. We ask them to marry us. We also do the work, buy the house and car etc etc etc. All you need to do is NOT be a total car crash slut. You really don't need to do anything special.
Honestly, have a look at the subset of women that do get married young. They are not especially attractive. I actually think that its the more average looking women that end up getting married and choosing the housewife lifestyle. It's the 3-5's that get married -thats the average looking girls. The issue starts when a young women is a 6 and up. If you a young woman that is slightly better looking than average, you will get hit on the moment you go out the door. Men buy you drinks and chase you whever you go. So you choose the hoe life. It's a lot of fun and you get a lot of attention free drinks and validation. I've often thought that a slightly above average young women gets to lead the lifestyle of a top tier hollywood actor. You'd have to be Leonardo Di Capri in his hey day to have have the kind of leverage that a normal 7 gets.
So, no, Women dont' need to put in any effort at all. They just need to choose - hoe or housewife.

Minor-minor-minor quibble. You had said "BECAUSE no man wants to marry her" You later add "All they need to do is put on a dress and sit there and smile." which lowers the bar, a bit. Nonetheless, it is incredible how that LOE is beyond most modern spinster women who lack the ability to sit still and smile and not muck it up. You'd be surprised how many women I met who were corporate nuns: Due to their lifestyle, they didn't get asked out a lot and some of them were quite lovely. Thanks to womanism, they don't get asked out at work, men won't "bother" them in the supermarket or stores, although there may be sleazes who hit on them. In terms of seeking marriage, I think that women over the age of 30 or so do have to put in MORE effort albeit slight. Develop some skills to talk to men, even average men, deal with attempts that don't work out, and so on. It's just that the Level OF Effort for them is so low, we think it's nothing but for them, it's like asking a girl with the mind of a 2th grader to do 3rd grader homework. We think it's easy but to them, it's insurmountable. That's why foreign women are so hated by western women for "working" for a mate and putting in some effort to provide value and to socialize with prospects. Spinsters are on a strike where they'll go down in flames rather than cross the picket line.

Case in point: A teenage friend of mine said that she thought I was a "loser" because I used a dating app (back in 1997) and another mocked me for flying around the world and bringing my wife to the states (where we largely associate with Slavic USA culture.). In other words, I was mocked by women for putting an effort into finding a mate and these women have even less respect for other women who do so. They want "the fairy tale" of the handsome prince casually slaying a dozen dragons and the princess sleeping.
I want to tell my daughter this: Would you do anything for your child? Would you work at a job you hate? Or put up with crap to make their life happy? To me, to have a family, meant I had to put up with crap. These women could have wonderful families and children if they just made a small effort in starting a relationship. They'd rather spend $20,000 on egg freezing and a sperm donor than pay their way on a date with a decent man who'd make a wonderful father.
When womanists gripe "women do more housework than men even if she works the same hours!" I point out that men did years worth of work to make the marriage happen to begin with. She ate on a man's dime for a decade as a meal ho'. She sat around mocking and rejecting men and reveling in the inequality. The extra work she does in a family doesn't include the work he did to MAKE THAT FAMILY POSSIBLE.

Yep. And you probably also get it from frumpy 20 year olds. It's kinda funny but after I got more attractive to women, I found it much easier to approach 8-10s than 5-6s. The 5-6s would look at you suspiciously because they knew you were out of their league, and they would pre-reject you so they could have the satisfaction of rejecting you before you could reject them (even if all you were doing was being polite or asking an innocent question). Meanwhile, I would strike up a conversation with an 8 or 9 and she would actually enjoy it and flirt back.
