I'm flagging this because I want to share a personal perspective. I can remember when I was young and in high school having this specific thought: "women just want some one who loves them and is loyal". I had this thought because I frequently heard from women that their boyfriends were not loyal.

It turns out that none of that is true. With everything that I have seen and heard over the past more than 30 years since, I can tell you that none of this is true. Sure they might want these thinks to some minor degree, but they'd disregard these considerations for the hot, wealthy, violent or fun dude all their friends are also interested in. They want to never be held accountable for their decisions or actions.

I'm also tired of the shaming language. Ignore women when they say things like this and "real men" or "a real man". Women are not the deciders of this.

Did not take too long to repeat her mistake and not learn her lesson the first time. But just because she says she is "finally ready to settle down" does not mean this mistake will not happen again.

I don't think there will be anything "fun" about having a relationship with a pregnant woman who is not carrying your child. Unless you find it fun to either lie to people claiming it is yours or have to explain how you are dating a woman who was knocked up by some other guy.

Another thing, if any man was unfortunate enough to be in a relationship with a woman who has children at this young of an age, there will be very little fun times and a whole lot of caretaking of two very dependent children. This is not to say that there is not joy and happiness found with this, but that applies far better when they are your children, not someone else's. You would just be skipping over the parts where you have time to actually know a woman before you have your hands full with watching over children. And that time before children is by no means trivial or unecessary. You need to know full well how your relationship will be before having children so that when you are dealing with the higher stress and more busy times that come with children you will be far better prepared for that. With this situation? You get none of that time, and certainly no real benefit when it comes to your genetics or your mental well being.

This is besides the obvious point that this woman is by no means a good prospect for any man. Because she is not.
