I remember it taking a little while to get going. They always start you out looking at fake profiles of camgirls or w/e for the simp masses, but after a week or two you get mostly real girls.

They use these hidden algorithms that rate you based on how many girls with high enough ratings swiped on you.

I think they are fine. Best thing to do is meet girls at a hobby group or something but apps are better than bars or clubs or w/e and are really low effort. Just swipe on the toilet for a few minutes everyday and probably you will get a date or two a week if you are decent at texting. I like introvert type girls with low body counts so I set my profile up to attract that. Another plus with the apps. You can kind of auto-curate if you know what you are doing.

I had to swipe left on. I'm literally a fucking king compared to the majority of these women, yet I can't get a single match with a decent woman. It's hilariously dire now.

Most users are men. Most women on there are looking for free entertainment or top 0.1% men.

The experience for 99.9% of men is that it's useless and full of swamp monsters as you say.

Either something has changed on these apps, or women in general have changed, or if you believe in fate/karma/destiny - Life just hates me now lmao.

Online dating has gotten worse as women have learned to exploit the apps for free attention/money/resources and top 0.1% men. They are no longer seen as hookup apps.

This is the longest dry spell I've ever experienced, and as a dude who should not be having issues, it is quite crushing. But whatever.

It has been going to shit in the last few years, but now it is really dead. The only solution left is to go outside, which is a good thing, because it forces you to improve in multiple areas in life at the same time and will develop your social skills that can either get you 6 figures or threesomes, or both of them. Haven't been on old since 2022 but my boys on it seem to do okay. Though we're late to mid 30s in a college town so a population of 70k plus and additional 10k of college kids from August to May.

Badoo is a terrible one, I think it's the most used where I live so there's tons of people there,more than tinder.But the quality is what's terrible, ogre after ogre, plenty of women over 35,up to like 60. Horrible app

I don't even bother with them now. It isn't even about bad pictures, you need s-tier travel photos and other shittery. The hoeflation is insane, they are unworthy of even a lay most of the time now and yet still think they deserve a king.
