Why I made JackedPact
I started lifting in January 2012 after a Jacked friend introduced me to lifting, and I lost my virginity two months later and got increased IOIs and more.
And yet ... I have yet to be jacked ... Why? Cause my lifting was bad? No. Rather, it was always from getting results and then stopping going for various bullshit reasons till I started losing too many gains, only to go again to salvage the lost gainz, get back to my old PRs and physique, maybe surpass them by a smidge even, and then the cycle repeats.
I've been locked in at some various shade of defined and a somewhat ripped, but too lean imo, for too goddamn long. Lifting for a third of my life and still not being Jacked gets disappointing.
JackedPact
Does this sound like you? Need some godDAYUM fukken accountability? Maybe some inspiration?
JackedPact is the place for the bros to tell your ass to get to the gym in one way or another, so you can achieve your RP journey of better health, better mood and confidence, and more IOIs and easy mode in your life.
Stop wasting your years and potential and commit to getting Jacked (or whatever your health and fitness goals are)

Yea, for me it's similar. I've been lifting in the gym now for a bit more than 2 years. Before that I was lifting dumbbells at home bc of the pandemic. And my body looks very nice without a shirt, but I literally didn't gain any weight.
Now that I've started taking creatine and counting my calories with MyFitnessPal I actually manage to gain a bit more than 2 Kg.

I think this is a common problem a lot of guys have and some I'm doing my part to change that (for myself included)

I approve of this group and will be here all the time to tell others to get jacked. I've been lifting for 2.5 years and I am fit, but not yet jacked, however, the goal is one bulk away.

Great idea.
Lifting even if on/off since 2012 is very impressive, IMO.
I played a lot of sports then at about 25 I started running/jogging with occasionally going to the gym - nowhere near enough to get gains, and the odd occasion I would go for more than two weeks by the sixth week I wasn't going.
I've been gymcelling since September, started going once/occasionally twice a week ; and now go at least twice/three times a week (just back now - and needed to get a bus one town over, so I'm quite happy I went for it on a cold-ish winter morning here) I am making progress, I still cannot do a pull up though (although dead hanging for 30-40 seconds each time, so it will come I think).
Great thread and gives us the motivation to get going.
Gym works. My IOIs are through the roof of late due to leaning/toned, and its mostly down to running 1x a week ; boxing 2x, and gym 2/3x with a lot of walking and hiking (in the summer). You just have to feel your body to feel the gains.
Most exercise I feel great after it, but with gym/boxing - you feel you can move mountains and test is flowing.

Thank you man! That's what this forum tribe is all about, being a place to get men out of the gymcel cycle
I never heard this term before but I'm stealing it
