I'm vaccinated so IDGAF. I say let the anti-vaxxers get sick and overflow the hospitals and die. If my unvaccinated 6yr old gets hospitalized I'm unplugging an unvaccinated adult to make room.

Lol did you know that vaccinated can still catch and spread Corona and still die from Corona?

Which variant are you vaccinated for? Delta? Lambda? Mu? None????

Did you get the booster? No? You're unvaccinated.

Was you vaccine longer than 2 weeks ago? Then you are unvaccinated.

Did you get the placebo? Or the real shot? Don't know?

Unplugging? You'd put a small child on an adult ventilator? Yikes. Good luck with that.

Yes, I do realize there is a 5% chance I may get rona and there's a 0.1% chance I will be hospitalized. I was not part of any study so I didn't receive a placebo. I didn't say I'd put a small child on a ventilator, I said I'd make room in the ICU for mine in favor of an irresponsible adult.

Did you know some adults actually shouldnt and cannot be vaccinated?

https://yalehealth.yale.edu/yale-covid-19-vaccine-program/information-special-populations-and-covid-19-vaccine

Guess they and their pre-existing conditions should bear the brunt of your emotional tirade then.

How do you know you didn't get a placebo? Did you take the vial to a lab? Ofc you didn't.

Unplug would mean life support or ventilator. Yes.

I'm unplugging an unvaccinated adult

You did indeed say it.

Also, sorry. I just noticed that you never told me what variant you were vaccinated for?

Delta? Lambda? Mu? A different one altogether?

They didn't tell you? Wow. Well, surely you have the box insert for the vaccine, then and can just go quickly read it and report back then, right?

From https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/variants/variant.html

Delta - B.1.617.2 First identified: India

Spread: Much faster than other variants

Severe illness and death: May cause more severe cases than the other variants

Vaccine: Infections happen in only a small proportion of people who are fully vaccinated, even with the Delta variant. Some breakthrough infections are expected but remain rare. However, preliminary evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people who do become infected with the Delta variant can spread the virus to others. All vaccines are particularly effective against severe illness, hospitalization and death.

Gosh. So.. Make this make sense.. Vaccinated folks can still spread it yet you blame unvaccinated ppl??

Wow. Amazing. The logic is just..

Missing. Completely.

Vaccinated people are unlikely to get the delta variant if exposed, but iff they do, they are likely to spread it. Unlikely times likely equals unlikely, so vaccinated people are unlikely to spread the delta variant.

Unvaccinated people, however, are likely to get the delta variant (and all other variants) if exposed, and they are also likely to spread it. Likely times likely equals a bit less likely but still much more likely than the likelihood for vaccinated people to spread the virus.

I hope this clarifies the logic that you thought was missing.

The CDC says differently.

fully vaccinated people who do become infected with the Delta variant can spread the virus to others

I tend to believe them over some moron on the internet

Read my first sentence very carefully: "Vaccinated people are unlikely to get the delta variant if exposed, but iff they do, they are likely to spread it."

How does this contradict with what the CDC is saying?

Its your second sentence genius.

so vaccinated people are unlikely to spread the delta variant.

Go get your weekly booster for the flu dude. Its rotting your brain.

Obviously you don't understand the science but fortunately I do. I have the Pfizer vaccine which is an mRNA vaccine. It works on every variant which has the spike protein associated with covid-19. The delta variant has the same spike protein. It sounds like you're just making up excuses to not get vaccinated. Good luck with that.

Well that sounds like a ton of bullshit and completely untrue but ok.

Thanks.

At least I know i won't die from an experimental vaccine and that's comfort enough for me.
