Just got banned from a mom group for replying to a few posts here. How odd. I wouldn't call myself red pilled. Just curious and happy to read different ideas. Is this the norm on reddit? Lol

This community was created as a harbor for RP minded women whose goal is to build a lasting and happy relationship with a great man.

Was it breakingmom? I think something in their rules said you couldn't be a member of redpill

I also got banned from commenting there just for being subbed here - which I thought was odd. I am not even particularly like, conservative or anything. Just happen to have a very traditional relationship dynamic and appreciate the viewpoints here. Though honestly, that sub was kind of a cesspit and just made me annoyed (even though I don't even have kids yet). So I stopped reading there anyway.

I'm banned there for the same reason

Yes it was that particular subreddit! I still will make sure I make an effort to read the dang rules though in the future elsewhere.

Tbh I joined that sub when my kid was young and it's slowly evolved into a place where women bitch about their husbands and I got sick of it.

Reddit is mostly filled with very liberal-left millennials that are completely intolerant of any views that aren’t their own or toe the line of whatever group-think narrative is currently trending.
Don’t give it a second thought.

And this wouldn't be such a problem if they weren't all terminally online, with infinite free time to spend entire evenings trying to win internet arguments by scouring every post you've ever made to cherry pick your opinions out of context to report you to as many authorities as possible.
To op I'd encourage for them to ask themselves; "Do I need their validation or approval?"

I said this above, but I got banned from a popular mom sub last week that I’ve been on for years for telling the OP it’s ok if her husband coming out as bisexual was a deal breaker for her. They called me homophobic and creepy. Like, WHAT?! Is this what it has come to now?? Having a preference for a heterosexual husband is now hateful. Got it. Y’all are bizarre.

Same! People are quick to judge

Fair enough yall.

I've had people talk crap because I share pictures of me on here, (nothing nude) while being a mom, and being involved in differnt forums, like this one, BDSM, clothedpreggo (I like documenting my pregnancies, and want to only share where it doesn't offend people) but people find a way to be offended anyways.
I try to be nice, I try not to argue, or cause people hurt or harm. I avoid threads that seem like they are based on drama.
It is what it is.
Left_Potential_7526 2y ago
That's understandable. Good attitude to have though.
Empyrean_Truth 2y ago
I've been doxxed by people who deeply wanted to make sure that I was punished for having an opinion on something before, so now I don't post anything terribly identifying, moved houses, and made a new account.
I wasn't certainly being horrible to anyone; I only voiced opinions on trans stuff.
Anyways, be safe, avoid showing face. And if you are showing face, avoid anything that someone can use to rile a digital mob against you with.

I'm fine

Yes, you can get auto banned from certain places. Sometimes it isn't spelled out in the rules, depends on subreddit

It's cancel culture. This tiktok perfectly describes why this behavior is common in millennials. Btw this tiktoker isn't rp but she sums up things quite nicely. Even posting in Jordan Petersons sub gets you banned from many subs (inc subs that are normal frontpage subs even)?!?
Feroste 2y ago
Imagine banning someone, not necessarily for believing X, or advocating for X, but simply talking to people who believe in X.
I can't imagine it... because I'm not that close-minded.
It's just the circle jerk of the internet.

I got banned from a mom sub last week for saying it’s ok to not be attracted to bisexual men. I got called “gross” and “creepy”. Lol. What a bunch of weirdos. I did like that sub so that one stung a bit!
