So, apparently the woke mind virus people are going around and identifying specific individuals and targeting them for cancellation. I just got an email from Hinge saying I've been banned. I haven't used hinge for over a year. I don't even have it installed anymore. How can this be?

Anyway, I checked and there are many other people who have had this happen. The bans are based on your device, phone #, profile pics, name, credit card, social media accounts, etc. It's usually that you get reported by someone who wants revenge: an ex, a social justice warrior, a single mom, etc. Once you get banned on one, you get banned on all the others and added to a facial recognition ban so new photos won't help.
So 8,413 people have filed Better Business Bureau complaints against Hinge. Hinge is not BBB accredited. Some people got their bans fixed this way, some didn't. You can file a complaint against them here: https://www.bbb.org/file-a-complaint/0875-21002176

It only takes a few minutes to report these assholes and costs them money to respond while letting everyone else know what a shitty company they are.
One more megacorp involved in fuckery: Amazon. They're getting the shit sued out of them by the US gov't for signing people up with Prime using fuckery.

Good reminder to everyone to keep their personally identifiable social media squeaky clean. In the future it's going to be even harder because AI will go through accounts looking for details that can deanonymize someone, so its wise to also be a bit circumspect about life details (such as age, location, etc) or even deliberately modify them, as we'll soon have extremely competent digital investigators with unlimited time trying to deanonymize. And yes, this forum especially will be a target.

They wont bring down any megacorp that is paying taxes in US, but can fine them some more. It looks like an action to public eye, yet it realy is symbiosis.
From taxes US is running plenty of fuckery. Whou would replace AMAZON if they would go down? There is no assuarnce it would be US company and even if US market would be protected, all other markets outside might be grabbed by nonUS entity.
Bigcorps can only bring them selves down.
