Uk leisure park has banned lone adults from entering their compound. They don't openly state male adults, but that is who it is exactly aimed at. This is an open discrimination against bachelor males/widowers. Simply label any non-committal man as an active pedophile who must be left at the gates. Any area where a high number of children are located must require you to have a partner. This will soon extend to schools, hospitals, pavements.

Well, feminazis won't be allowed either, so it kind of goes both ways.
Kok_Nikol 10y ago
"Within seven years we have only had one complaint about this policy from the gentlemen last week."
This has been going on for 7 years, fuck.
Lakey91 10y ago
It's possible it's never been enforced I suppose
kruddthemessiah 10y ago
Not one man had the balls to speak out about it in those 7 years
yummyluckycharms 10y ago
First of all - the park is someone's private property - they can allow or not allow - anyone they want.
If it was a public park - and it was a city by-law - people would sue. If it was just a bunch of soccer moms complaining, you would feel free to ignore them or confront them at your leisure.
[deleted] 10y ago
If they can't deny all black people then they shouldn't be able to deny all single males is the argument.
yummyluckycharms 10y ago
Good point - but the precedent has already been set with women only gyms
[deleted] 10y ago
If it went to court they'd have to allow men but good luck finding a judge that wouldn't throw it out.
Thursday088 10y ago
The nanny state strikes again, no surprise here just par for the course.
ChristopherBurr 10y ago
Lone adult males should demand a tax rebate since they are not allowed to use the public facilities.
[deleted] 10y ago
Aside from Catholic priests, the only people I hear about who are banging children are female teachers.
Lakey91 10y ago
Even then the priests had lower rates of child abuse than teachers. It was just a way for the media to frame single celibate men as dangerous.
dhump 10y ago
It already extends to hospitals, to a degree. The 5 hospital health system I work for does not allow any male staff alone in any area with a female patient.
What the actual fuck.
Lakey91 10y ago
It's to protect the men from false accusations. The NHS do it for any intimate examinations. You get a nurse or any female member of staff in with you even if the patient objects. Even were it not considered best practice, I think most male doctors would follow it for their own safety.
Zackcid 10y ago
How are people not suing for discrimination? I know this is used a lot, but what if the genders were switch. YOU KNOW there would be an outrage, no doubt. You'd hear about it in the news all over the globe.
Is the West becoming the new Saudi Arabia?
vakerr 10y ago
First it gets pussified by the feminazis, then the muslims conquer it. So yes.
stickfiguresk 10y ago
I work in a hospital too and I don't mind this at all. No accusations can be made by shit head patients.
The hypocrisy doesn't bother me at all either because I was molested by a female radiologist when I was a teenager and it was pretty sweet. I would be pretty fucked up if it had been a dude though.
[deleted] 10y ago
er, details on what the radio did?
stickfiguresk 10y ago
This is actually one of my favorite stories to tell people. I was a fresh out of high school virgin that just joined the army. I got a hernia in basic training and was sent to get an ultrasound. Radiology was staffed by a lone, 30ish, 5/10 woman.
She sent me into the ultrasound room and told me to take off my pants and put my dick in a pillow case--so she could rub my balls with her machine. It was a little weird, but I had already been felt up by probably 6 people by this point(for the hernia) and getting my balls groped was becoming a normal thing.
So I drop my pants and lay back on a table, put my dick in a pillow case and rest it on my belly. The woman knocked on the door, came in and sat down next to me. What next was fucking horrifying: she grabbed this generic-looking mustard bottle and held it over my crotch, "this is going to be warm."
She emptied the contents of this bottle on my lap. It made a cartoonish, "PPFFFFTTHHFTT" I was fucking covered in warm lube. It felt like I just got a blast of diarrhea shot onto my dick. It was pretty gross.
She sat down next to where I was laying and began moving the wand over my groin. My thoughts were something along the lines of, "oh, thank god. I wont get a boner because I'm so grossed out."... but that eventually went away as the lube cooled off. It started to feel really good--not so much in a sexual way, but like a back rub--she was massaging my pain stricken groin. This is what heaven must be like.
There was a clock right above the table I was laying on and I watched about 15 minutes go by before it happened... twitch twitch twitch (OH GOD OH GOD I'M GETTING A BONER! GOD, she probably thinks I'm so unprofessional!)
... She never said anything. I must've been beet red. This level of embarrassment is perfect for immediately killing a boner though and it went back down promptly.
I remember 2 more erections, until finally she took my dick out of the pillow case and started rubbing it too. And, of course, I was still oblivious. Neither of us acknowledged it and I was certainly enjoying it. I had a 45 minute ultrasound.
At some point, she stood up and said, "okay, you can clean up with these tissues and the pillow case. You're free to go." and left the room--probably frustrated or bored because I didn't try to escalate.
When I stood up, I grabbed the tissue box that had exactly... two tissues left in it. I made it work to the point of scraping the lube off my lap with the completely sodden tissues and then did the same with the pillow case... There was so much lube... Eventually I gave up and pulled up my ACU pants and walked out the door feeling like a slightly soggy million bucks.
I got back to my company and my head drill sergeant asked, "stickfiguresk! Did you just come back from your ultrasound?"
"Yes, Drill Sergeant!"
"Was it a man or a woman?"
"It was a woman, Drill Sergeant!"
"Did you enjoy it?"
"Hell yes, Drill Sergeant!"
He burst out laughing. Good times.
[deleted] 10y ago
I take it removing the pillow wasn't part of the procedure
stickfiguresk 10y ago
Yeah, but I virgin-hamstered it, "hah, that's not my hernia. she doesn't seem to be watching what she's doing. Oh well, feels good."

jladen897 10y ago
That's just too far...should we maybe start wearing stars on our clothing to show that we aren't loners? Oh right, someone else did do that in history already...I can't believe they have the balls to do this.
Adolf_ghandi 10y ago
Stasi was bad and now we have NSA... Do you really think it is that strange?
notseriouslyserious 10y ago
pfft, Stasi would be green with envy if they knew the kind of shit NSA is into.
jladen897 10y ago
Just didn't think that it would really come to pass...and most people aren't even aware of whats happening. I guess history repeats itself, then resets then continues again...
Cryocasm 10y ago
As my grandfather says:
"Facebook is Stasi on voluntary basis".
oldredder 10y ago
It's not voluntary when you're photo-tagged, identified and don't have a facebook account.

Stasi was a bunch of amatures :-)

There used to be (maybe still is) a park in San Francisco like this. The signs said something along the lines of "No loitering by unaccompanied adults." "Loitering"? That's what you're supposed to do at a park.
I have no interest in paying for public spaces I can't use. Were I a local voter I'd be pushing to get the thing turned into a strip mall.
Zanford 10y ago
Sounds fair...if childless men can get back their tax dollars going to the parks
bcbm 10y ago
People need to calm down. Do you realize why this article made the front page of reddit? It's because it's so damn absurd and no one has ever heard of anything like this happening before. It's an incredibly unorthodox policy that will most likely not be replicated in your area. people here are jumping to conclusions based on almost nothing. Take a step back for a second and try to think logically.
Lakey91 10y ago
The point is that policy makers will look at the response when making future policy. If enough of a fuss is made it might make then think differently before extending the idea to their own parks.
Outrage at single instances of injustice serve a purpose, even if it seems disproportionate.
Dr_Wally 10y ago
Do these law makers forget that at one time in their life they were loners as well?

Manuel_S 10y ago
The slippery slope gets some extra lube.
This is why I consider it unwise to be open about TRP and challenge all comers. Under the radar guys, keep doing your stuff.
They are not honest, so you just lie to their faces and fuck the bitches they wish they could get.
[deleted] 10y ago
Yes exactly, TRP is not Mens Rights.
sinister_h 10y ago
we must openly speak out against these policies or else nothing will change. silence can be considered consent. ghandi didnt remain silent. martin luther king wasnt silent. thomas jefferson wasnt silent.
a man must be willing to stand alone in his convictions and take a stand against perceived evil. are we not men?
cascadecombo 10y ago
This is not some movement. People need to stop thinking that shit, this is navigation. Taking advantage of what we can and moving upwards with that information. If you want a movement go start one elsewhere.
nechoha 10y ago
That is true. However, both MLK and Ghandi had the power of change in their movements, women. They may have stood alone early on, but over time they found like minded individuals of both sexes to help their movements. The women that joined brought in more men. This small cycle built up the movements until their ideas were accepted/heard by the governing party. Yes, individually these two men may have been quite successful, but they used the strategy feminism now uses of having enough females in their movement to build up their forces with addition women and more men. Remember, most men chase pussy. Very few of us that were not born alphas have not done things that would be described as beta to get closer to a woman(s), or in hopes of a relationship/happy ending/sex. The power of change within a society lies with women, we gave up that power a time ago. Yes, for the most part we enact the changes, but that is only after we as a society are spurred by enough women to act in their interests.
[deleted]
[deleted] 10y ago
Martin Luther King was a communist and plagiarist. Ghandi liked to sleep with little girls and preferred peaceful protest when violent revolution would not work. These two fools never fought evil but the evil the bite sized chunks the media panders to the fools known as the "general public".
Back to the point. Advertising shows that we are weak and lacking. The more negative attention the more we grow. We're the forbidden fruit all men crave when shown in a damning light.
oldredder 10y ago
That's not "men" that's "targets" while other men who are not targets survive and actually make change through action because words are meaningless.
[deleted] 10y ago
Don't worry about things you cannot possibly change yourself, enjoy the decline. Or become activist but leave tRP out of it.
Zackcid 10y ago
It seems nobody's noticed or pointed this out yet: this is getting alarmingly similar to Saudi Arabia's "draconian" laws. The average joe and feminists always act outraged when they hear about the segregation/sexism of men and women in that country, but you won't hear a peep when it really begins to take effect in the West.
There are already hospitals, parks, and schools where lone men aren't allowed to enter? WTF?!??! If only those people who allegedly stand for equality could use that impressive lobby power of theirs, this would be dealt with immediately. Guess men aren't a priority, huh.
topspeedj 10y ago
Your average peep realises that policies like that are fucking retarded - it's stuff like that that will eventually be the downfall of feminism.
[deleted] 10y ago
I wonder if this has anything to do with the rapidly growing number of Muslims in the U.K.
NS_white 10y ago
Not really. It's more of the growing Marxist way of thinking. The Muslims are another problem.
kanaduhisfruityeh 10y ago
As far as I can tell, this is a park and petting zoo that is geared towards children. So there isn't much reason for lone adults to go there. Banning lone adults from regular public parks, on the other hand, would be a problem. Public parks are for everyone, not just children.
The funny thing about this story is that the ban seems to have been motivated by the former mayor of the town who was arrested for child sex offences. But the mayor was married with three children. If he's not locked up right now, or under any conditions, he could theoretically come to the park with his wife or kids and get inside with no problems.
Andress1 10y ago
Nope.Actually i think it would be the contrary:a growing number of businesses which revolve around single adult men living the dream who don't plan on committing.
sir_wankalot_here 10y ago
It depends on the business. WoahScienceCool is talking about an alpha trade, but the majority of the jobs now days are in the service industry. For a service industry job you prefer to hire women or married men because they are less likely to quit the job and you can use dread on them.
WoahScienceCool 10y ago
As someone who works in the Oil and Gas Industry, I can vouche for this ten fold. It is DRILLED (no pun intended) into us that if you are single with no family or no strings attached, that you will go very, very far. The first ones to drop out are the guys who have to call their wives or girlfriends...every...single...day. One hand even stole my boss's company truck to go make a phone call to his wife off location for 3 HOURS just so he could find an area that had service. He even explicitly told me personally that his wife comes before his job. Companies know this and actively seek out single bachelors like me, and let me tell you, when they find us, they worship the ground we walk on. I love this industry. I cant think of an industry more conductive to the TRP lifestyle than Oil and Gas.
finitely_eclectic 10y ago
former roughneck - can confirm.
nechoha 10y ago
What is it you do in Oil and Gas. Or would you be willing to make a post discussing the industry and why it would be a good place to work? If it is a good place to work?

I personally hate having to work in this feild. In it however I found TRP so at least that's something good!
Starswarm 10y ago
What do you hate about it and what do you do?
Kingoffistycuffs 10y ago
I'm working hazard containment. Spraying polyuria on fabric and laying it to contain spills. My other oil and gas "experience" was with bj around the time they got bought out by baker Hughes . I was a very timid beta during my time at baker and got eaten alive but got a much thicker skin because of it. With this job however I had fun when I was in a before TRP alpha mind set but got timid and comfortable so went back toa 60/40 ish split between alpha an beta mindset. Now post TRP this J.O.B path won't really sure my need to enter monk mode and sculpt the new me from the old me.
nicethingyoucanthave 10y ago
Yeah, but don't you miss getting laid?
ForgotMyNameGG 10y ago
It's okay, because there is plenty of cocaine. I worked in Fort Mac, and it was eye-opening for a prissy city kid like me
nicethingyoucanthave 10y ago
ok so next question: how do you take cocaine and not end up fucking someone? That shit makes me horny as fuck.
ForgotMyNameGG 10y ago
No goddamn women HAHA
There were plenty of prostitutes, but fuck I didn't want to share with riggers
oldredder 10y ago

Grade school, high school, college, professional environments.
They've all become systematically more and more hostile towards men. Now a dude can't even go for a walk.
[deleted] 10y ago
I really like teaching and would like to be a teacher. However, I will not go into high school teaching because of all the risks involved. I will not go into higher education because of how hostile it is to men, especially white republican men. I am not really complaining because I have better job opportunities in the private sector anyways, it is just sad that a whole field excludes men so heavily.

You mean girls with richer dads who have lawyers on retainer?
[deleted] 10y ago
I have thought about that. I think I am going to go to graduate school in my field and then decide from there.
Jade196 10y ago
That's probably a wise decision. My uncle lost his job and almost went to jail after the school accused him of looking up child porn. Child porn had been accessed from computers all over the elementary school he worked at (including his) after hours. He had no access to the other computers and many other teachers computers had been violated. But they blamed him, it seemed, because he was one of the only male teachers.
He lost his job, his long-time girlfriend dumped him, he had to sell his house to pay for his legal fees, and he had to temporarily move back in with his mother (my grandmother). He was a great teacher and is an honorable man, but he got screwed by the system.
He was proven innocent, but I doubt anyone will consider hiring him (at least around here) after the bad press he got. So, he took up work as an independent contractor instead. His college degree is basically useless now.
[deleted] 10y ago
[deleted]
Jade196 10y ago
Seems far more likely than one teacher who doesn't have access to keys for the whole school accessing a bunch of computers in locked rooms.
My uncle thought it might have been one of the janitors since they had keys to everything.
topspeedj 10y ago
Yep hackers can manipulate a Windows PC's thumbnail cache to include bad stuff. If a police forensics team gets hold of it (not the regular police grunts, they'd check 'My Pictures' and then close down the PC) it's one place they look.
oldredder 10y ago
Wait, there's Republicans that don't join the arm-me?
OK I'm fucking with you :) I'm Canadian, we don't give a shit who's republicrat or demothug. It's all Murrika to us.
[deleted] 10y ago
I do not feel comfortable taking general public policy/political science classes at the college I go to because conservative thought, especially social conservatives, get heavily marked down in grades. The few classes I was forced to take I would agree with everything the professor said in essays to keep my grade high. American colleges/universities are notorious for marking based on ideology even in non political classes. I have had English and science professors require attendance in Feminist workshops.
oldredder 10y ago
Well a lot of American "conservatives" are both idiotic and not even "conservative". They have no idea what they're conserving, if they're even conservative at all - they're just copy-catting what they grew up with, no critical thinking, just like liberal bubblehead nonsense-talkers.
There is nothing outside of blind ideology in the American conservative, nor the American liberal. Both extremes are failure in my eyes.
What even is a "conservative" thought? Are you conserving the specific era of the 1950's? 1850's? 1300's? What are you conserving? Nothing. It's just a puppet label.
America really has no right-wing or left-wing, just random labels given to each group with opposition so they will fight each other and never unite to overthrow their banking mafia overlords that actually control things.
Voting doesn't even matter. 90% of human votes will be erased by Diebold voting machines & replaced with preprogrammed rigged results for every election.
NS_white 10y ago
Conservative values refers to the currently held values, so ones present only 50 years or so back.
Conservative values versus liberal today is basically nature versus nurture. Conservatives hold the values that make civilization great, and are tried and tested, whereas liberals hold untested Marxist values that conflict with human nature. Example being the treatment of boys in public school (no play, no roughhouse, sit still or get drugs from doctor for ADHD)
oldredder 10y ago
What an odd label to apply to such thinking.
Makes no sense to me.
Civilization was made great by people long before 50 years ago, like Nikola Tesla or Alexander the Great.
so-called consevatives and so-called liberals are each different brands of nonsense to me as you've clarified very specifically what you think they are.
NS_white 10y ago
You are missing the point. The liberal Marxist way of thinking is a relatively new idea.
Conservatives argue for the tried and true values, like gender roles, etc that built nations in the past. That doesn't mean a conservative wants to copy the laws of the 1300's, but to keep the same culture and family values.
oldredder 10y ago
the liberal Marxist ways aren't even happening so no, I'm not missing the point.
Conservatives argue for nothing tried and true from hundreds & thousands of years ago, hence my dismissal of their nonsense. What they value as culture I dismiss as luck of an era in one geographic region which is unrepeatable due to economics of energy & war.
NS_white 10y ago
What is feminism, gender equality, racial equality, homosexuality acceptance, socialism (as seen in Europe). All of these are examples of Marxism. The idea that everyone is equal.
When I argue conservatism I argue mostly social conservatism. I am no advocate of capitalism, although I don't seek go put down competition. What I seek to preserve (or conserve) is my culture and way of life. I, like many others, point to the 1940's and 50's as examples of conservative america and Europe. Even though I am an atheist, preserving Christianity as a religion is one of my priorities, as the customs and traditions are part of who we are as a people. Just because I don't believe in the specific tales and legends doesn't mean I am not part of the Christian culture.
Can you elaborate here? Are you referring to the 1950's economic boom?
[deleted] 10y ago
Wake up sheeple! /s
Serious now: I think it is elitist to assume that everyone is able to isolate themselves from the decisions of the government. A lot of Americans are effect by broad economic policies by the government and a lot of people are effect by social policies of the government, e.g. access to welfare. Parties create platforms so that you are able to understand what a politicians generally wants to happen. I think you need to do a lot more leg work to make me believe that some shadow government is manipulating the election system.
oldredder 10y ago
Serious now: America is declining & has little power now compared to its peak. America has NO power over me. I don't use American laws, money or rely on American culture, advice, lifestyle for anything.
As for government if we are ready we can abolish it. Government is just a preferred mafia. I'd prefer we had more choices and none of them stay in charge.
Parties are frauds, lies, mere puppetry to entertain children who aren't smart enough to know that BANKS RULE YOU. The banks, the central banks, buy EVERY politician & kill those who refuse to take the money.
It's not a SHADOW GOVERNMENT.
Literally DIEBOLD HAS BEEN EXPOSED BY PROGRAMMERS AT M.I.T. more than SIX years ago for doing this.
Literally THE FEDERAL RESERVE has the power to PRINT new money ANY TIME, ANY AMOUNT, NO LIMITS - and everyone else attempting to do so is PUT IN PRISON FOR COUNTERFEITING.
It's no different in China, Russia, Canada, England, the Eurozone or anywhere else with a central bank.
The central bank is the highest authority in the land - above even law-makers.
Remember: police & armies are paid in DOLLARS, YEN, EUROS, ROUBLES, things that you can't make up out of nothing because you're not a central bank.
If you are a central bank you can produce a trillion new fiat units of currency in milliseconds and it's all legal.
The onus can never be on me to prove this.
The onus of proving the red pill is on you to learn and survive. If you fail to do so I survive without you around.
The onus is on you to prove it to improve your life.
This is the 100% pure red pill and I'm showing it to you. You're sitting there looking at it, looking at the blue pill next to it and wondering if you still like juicy Matrix steak.
Subreddit TheRedPill is like 2% of the real actual RED pill.
It's the children's tylenol of the red pill.
NS_white 10y ago
What you say is all common knowledge, and you are speaking "to the choir" so to speak. However the way you talk sounds like a lunatic rambling in he streets.

People claim that women hate beta men, but who they hate more than ANYTHING is monk mode men.
Both af/bb provide women with attention, validation, etc- diffrent kinds (beta bucks alpha fucks)
But monk mode men ignore them- an outrage.
This is just an attempt to lash back at them
mega_beta 10y ago
It's funny, I'm surrounded by married couples in suburbia. I'm sure all the wives are irritated with me because I do everything myself - cooking, house cleaning, yard work, laundry, etc. And their husbands are probably jealous of my motorcycle collection, longing for their freedom. They have their stupid domestic disputes and I'm over here not giving a shit.
But anyways, why would a single guy go to a kid's leisure park?
[deleted] 10y ago
That's besides the point, this is yet another infringement upon individual freedom.
teeelo 10y ago
Hmm. Sounds like their husbands should be hiring you to give them the Alpha fucks they need. They will be 100% less bitter with their BB hubby's and I can't think of a better way to make a living, you insatiable man whore you.
cascadecombo 10y ago
Going for a run? Picking up single moms / college age chicks at home babysitting / various reasons.
[deleted] 10y ago
Nowhere in the article to they describe it as a "kid's" leisure park.
kingofpoplives 10y ago
Actually, if you read the link, the dude who got pissed for being turned away wanted to check out a falconry exhibit. Apparently the other 90% of the park is a kiddie playground.
Being banned from falconry sucks ass, but I can agree you don't want stray pedos wandering the playground.
UndesirableFarang 10y ago
Wrong question. It does not matter why. Why would a black man walk through a white neighborhood?
In a free society, citizens do not need to justify why they want to be at a public place X. As long as you're doing nothing wrong, there's no need whatsoever to explain yourself to anyone, and the only answer to the above question is "none of your damn business".
Some leisure parks might be technically private property, but even then, the owner couldn't a whole class of people (say, Africans) from being there, and rightfully not... so why would they be able to ban unaccompanied men? This is starting to sound like Saudi Arabia in reverse.

to walk his dog. to play Frisbee. to get some fresh air. to feed the birds or squirrels to clear his mind. to just go for a run in a safe area.
his tax dollars go to it just as much as anyone else's, assuming it's a public park, so why shouldn't he? why do we even have to answer that question?
1independentmale 10y ago
For that matter, to enjoy the sights and sounds of children playing. Some of us fathers actually enjoy children. Is that a fucking crime now?
(I'm playing devil's advocate here. I personally can't stand most children. I love my own, but yours probably suck.)

I love being an uncle.
Hold/play with the kid for however long I want, then give him back no questions asked. Perfect balance of child interaction without the long term responsibility.

I am married but the wives are the ones usually hitting on me. The husbands usually disapprove of me because I don't cook, clean, do laundry or other woman work. I would fuck the other guy's wives but it isn't a good idea to shit where you eat. The other big factor is if my wife caught me fucking the other wives she would tease the hell out of me.

Lone !~ Single, perhaps a man's taking his children to the park on his visitation day.
Parks also could feature dog runs, shortcuts from place to place, etc. And I read a tale of at least one fellow who did upper-body work (chinups, monkey bar crossing) at a playground's jungle gym.

A man taking his children would not be considered a "lone man".

Note that the one complaining was a grandfather with grandchildren in-tow.
This policy is code for "no men permitted without accompanying women"
juanqunt 10y ago
That sounds like the opposite of traditional rules, especially that of muslim countries.
Oh the irony! #Matriarchy #BigMamaIsWatching
[deleted] 10y ago
He was allowed in when he had his grandchildren. It's when he came back by himself that he was stopped.
[deleted] 10y ago
From the article: "A bird enthusiast told the Bristol Post today that he had been turned away from a falconry display at the park, and told that adults without children were banned to protect children from paedophiles."
and: "Matthew Richards, 54, had previously visited the Puxton Park with his three grandchildren but wanted to return for another look at the birds of prey area."
He had no grandchildren in-tow. He was a solo male adult. No need to make up stuff.

The really stupid thing about all this is there just aren't that many pedos out there. And the ones that are out there usually molest children they know - neighbors or relatives. The whole thing is the maternal instinct gone cancerous.
u-r-silly 10y ago
Because women can't abuse children, right?
hipst 10y ago
They're not equipped, at least that's what NOW tells me.
Serres 10y ago
Female paedophiles, rapists, and abusers often use brutal implements.
The idea that women can't do bad things is the greatest shield for these monsters to be enabled to and to get away with hurting kids.

The thing that I hate most about marriage isn't obtaining new and exciting pussy, but simply being left to my own devices when I come home from work. I want to chill out, not attend to the needs of whiny women and children.
berluch 10y ago
Then say so. Sometimes when I get home from work my girlfriend will start bitching about ridiculous workplace drama and I'll tell her straight out that I don't give a fuck. Tell me something I want to hear or be quiet. And it works.
[deleted] 10y ago
If she gets upset: "I need quiet and will get quiet. Do I have to leave?"
tits_out_forTheBoys 10y ago
One of the short stories in No More Mr. Nice Guy is about a man who came home one day and told his wife that he was too tired to listen to her bitch about work. If I recall correctly, she fucked his brains out that night, breaking the couple's long cold streak.
Keep up the good work, [berluch]. You've shown your woman that you are the PRIZE, and it's pretty damn refreshing whenever I hear that.
oldneckbeard 10y ago
That's what happy hour is for. I need an hour or so to decompress from work. Great time to meet up with your friends. When I get home, I'm barraged from every angle. I'm tired, brain-dead, and yet I've got to pretend to be sympathetic to the stupid work situations of my wife, or do something with the kid, or whatever.
We've got it all worked out now so I can actually come home and just unwind. It all comes down to communication. I told her that I'm giving her and kid at best 30% of what I could possibly do. If I can rest for an hour, I'll be able to give 90% for the next few hours, all the way to kid bedtime. This arrangement has worked out really well for us. It's just the same thing you do now -- managing expectations and boundaries and self-health.
oldredder 10y ago
happy hour? Fuck that, I'll take every hour from when I get home to when I have to be back at work and be happy for all of them.
1independentmale 10y ago
Amen, brother.
Do you know why married men die first? It's because they want to.
oldredder 10y ago
hahahahahahaha
I wish I could award you a whole Internets for that one.
MojoMoley 10y ago
Wait. You people claim that boys who grow up without father figures will become a beta most of the time. But here you give 0 fucks about your children. Great.
oldredder 10y ago
I have no children to give a fuck about.
If I do one day it will only be in a place where a woman has zero control over all choices of how to raise them. Zero. So far it's very hard to find such a place so I choose no children.
I also did not make any claim that beta men are raised without fathers. GENETICS determines if you're beta or alpha. How you're raised merely brands you TEMPORARILY with society brainwashing. Alpha men can be raised as children to act beta, punished for acting alpha, but can break free. Beta men are born beta no matter what - they can only learn to fake being alpha. They'll always slip up. Real alphas do not.

But this guy isn't monk mode, he just wanted see the fucking birds of prey.
[deleted] 10y ago
Which is what I've done in the past, jumped on the motorcycle and headed up to the local family park which has a birds of prey exhibit. I would be fucking pissed if I was turned away by a rule like that.
randomcatsofkindness 10y ago
It's a sad fact that we're living in a world where this shit can happen. If this were to directly affect mostly women this would never be tolerated. This unchecked bias can only impact negatively upon how men will be treated in future generations.

lol, SRS is probably excited about this. ALL CISNET WHITE MALES R SHIT LORDS

I'm from this area... It's aimed at single ADULTS; the do not allow women either. I'm a fan of TRP but please stop reading things that aren't there.

While I agree with a lot of the commentary in this thread, in this particular case, the ban doesn't seem outrageous.
With so much of the park being dedicated to small children, there just isn't much reason an adult would want to go solo. It reminds me of Chuck E Cheese; no entry without a kid.
By and large this is one of those things that sounds worse than it is
