When did womens conception of a desirable guy become about:
- hollywood looks
- porn star dicks
- bodybuilder bodies
- fashion model clothes
- CEO salaries
Reading my very first girlfriends break up letter to me (a break up text from a week ago) confirms all of these vapid tenets of modern female attraction. If you look through public facebook posts you'll find more of the same.
When did modern society become like this and how did we get here? I give up. Where do I go from here?

Are you seriously suggesting these are the root of attraction? Let me re-frame:
Hollywood looks - looks and especially physical fitness matter, but Brad Pitt had trouble meeting women before he became famous. Why? The answer is below.
Porn star dicks - this is just nonsense. Size really doesn't matter unless it's super big or super small. Except for a tiny percentage of women, average is exactly what they want.
Body builder bodies - they like fit men, not bodybuilders. The audience for Muscle & Fitness is overwhelming male (as is Playgirl)
Fashion model clothes - stylish and contemporary? Yes. Pretty-boy model? No. I get compliments on my clothing from women all the time and I rarely spend more than $50 on any item of clothing, including shoes and sweaters.
And think about it for a sec: do you want a girl who wears sexy clothes, heels, has nice nails and takes care of her hair (minimum $100 per month) or some chick who just wears baggy jeans, blah hair and no makeup? This is not gender-specific.
CEO salaries - waaaaay overblown. I've talked to a lot of women about this, and what I've found to be nearly universal is:
The reason women dig Brad Pitt is not because he's rich and famous, but because he portrays complicated, driven men on screen.
The reason they like rock stars is not because they're rich and famous, but because they demonstrate a passionate commitment to their craft.
The reason they like CEOs is not because of their money, but because they have demonstrated a sustained commitment to excellent in their field. They don't care if the guy owns a Porsche or a big house.
Read this post for an example of how little that shit matters to women.
Pablo Picasso was short, overweight and ugly. Women loved him. Why? Because he pursued excellence in his art.

My opinion on your issue is based on the Roosh camp opinion that Western women(especially here in the US) are just absolutely low-quality materialistic people who only value things that will ultimately mean little in the end. Now don't get me wrong, nearly every woman is materialistic in some way, it is their nature. However, women from other areas (Latin America, Eastern Europe, SE Asia), they do not completely decide on a guy based off his bank account and job occupation, they also look at the guy himself and what he brings to the table that will help them out as well.
I've dated some international students at my uni here in the US and they were fucking awesome in comparison to the American women here. I know the red pill is all about accepting reality in understanding how to get these women in a feminist era, and that's great if you want to sport fuck. However, if you want a LTR(some guys do want this eventually, myself included) don't do it with an American chick, or even Western Euro woman either in some places.
Protip: Latinas in Lt.Am are some of the most ride or die women I've ever dated. Makes me want to move to Brazil... sigh
