Okay well I'm still working on developing my game but lately I've noticed there is way too much conflicting advice out there. Some says to state your intentions right away, some says not to, some say to be vulnerable, some says not to, some says to be cocky/funny, other say not too and just ask a girl out with out beating around the bush.
An example of this is this post here.

Can you guys take a look at the post and the advice given and help me make some sense of all this. Who is closer to being right/wrong, and why...
Thanks
Secondly can you point me into any seduction material that you recommend for a someone. A list of books or blogs would be appreciated. Thanks.

First off, with game- it's difficult. There are a lot of approaches, and some conflicting. There's more than one way to be attractive, and game has a lot of facets because some things are easier to pull off than others depending on your other skills, attractiveness, and so on.
So there's always a lot of different advice on game.
The only game advice I condemn is one that plays strictly into the feminine imperative. "Don't forget to be respectful, women like that."
When you hear things like that, remember that this type of advice exists merely to disqualify you. Women unconsciously plant advice like this into our culture to better weed out betas.
As for good seduction material, I've always enjoyed Roosh, he's an incredibly red pill blogger, and his pickup advice I think works very well. I'd recommend Day Bang, but his other book is probably a prerequisite (Bang).
As for the post you linked, some of the advice is good, some is not so good. I think TAOofSTEVE's post is the best response. When you read up on Roosh you'll start to see why that type of advice is good.
