I know this post is over 2 weeks old, but it stokes a fire that burns inside of me. Online dating is just no place for men. The odds are stacked against us. It is a land where 6's turn into 10's and 10's turn into immortal goddesses.

It just doesn't make sense for men. Why would an 8-10 use a dating site in the first place? They can get guys in the real world. That automatically disqualifies them as an option because they are either there just for the ego boost (see how many messages they can get to makes themselves feel pretty) or crazy (because if she is an 8 -10 why can't she secure a man in real life?).

So beyond that, a 6 or 7 gets so many messages a day that she feels like a supermodel. All of a sudden, a girl that gets approached once or twice a week in real life is getting 50 - 100 messages a week! Her perceived sexual market value is way above it's real world equivalent. Forget going out with some average girl that all of a sudden due to online dating thinks she is god's gift to men.

And the 5's and below, well we wouldn't approach in real life. So that leaves zero reason to pursue any type of online dating. I've never done it and have no plan to pursue it in the future.
