Indeed. You do not see quality women getting pumped and dumped, because a quality woman does not find herself in that situation in the first place. Perhaps a semantics argument, but my definition of a quality woman is one that does not sleep with a man early. Though my standard is waiting until marriage, the principle applies for at least long term commitments. On the other hand, a husband really cannot pump and dump his wife.

The problem with that is the modern traditional dating scenario makes "exclusive relationship" much less likely to happen. Back in the 80's, men still earned a decent living and women largely respected men with an income and wouldn't engage in too many shit tests aside from getting that first or second dinner date. He didn't need exceptional game or looks. They might go out on cheap dates later and even spend a few months getting to know each other before sex.
In the modern era, when a guy has to basically knock it out of the park to even get a first date, and then from there get her laid ASAP lest she friendzone him, few men can, or want to, get into an "exclusive relationship" with a woman before having sex with her. Yes, the PUA's pushed for a pump and dump culture but women didn't have to follow that lead.
The truly old fashioned courtship where a woman gets to know a guy has been lost to the sands of time.

You must have been raised in a unique place. In the 80s it was all Cindy Lauper "Girls just wanna have fun" where I grew up. Anyway, it is what it is. The PUA scene was just a response to feminist lies. You didn't have to use game on women until feminism came along. I think it's hilarious that feminism backfired and resulted in red pill. If you get into the theory and study the back story enough, you'll see this all ends in men demanding polygamy and a balance of housewives and whores. We're very fortunate to be living in a time where there is a surplus of whores because we're to the point where pussy is free and the types of women that make good housewives are undervalued.

The traditional model is difficult to apply today, as you need to be absolutely sure that both you and the woman are genuinely traditional. That is not something you can even know right away, so you are taking a gamble if you are a man trying to do things the traditional route. You never know if a woman is sincere initially, as that takes time to fully vet.
Non-traditional men on the other hand will want sex more upfront, and if they are successful they get what they want. Women who play into this game often lose, because they cede bargaining ground when they give out what men desire the most too soon. But it is not as if these women have grounds for complaints, as they could have chosen not to participate in the non-traditional model. That means walking away from attractive men and sex with them, so many women fail because of poor impulse control. You get what you put into relationships, and if you are not traditional yourself, expecting that treatment is setting yourself for disappointment, especially if you lead the relationship by discarding the wisdom that states jumping into bed early is a bad idea. Funny enough, out ancestors were on to something with that advice and not just being needlessly stubborn.

Another factor as to why so-called traditional dating, really a product of 1st wave feminism, broke down is how fragile and transient the conditions for it were:
1) Men and women married relatively young when they socialized in church and school. This meant that chads, "bad girls", and teases quickly got bad reputations and in the 1920's to 1950's, the grandparents and parents would lecture the girls to hurry up and not become a spinster or single mother.
2) Men earned good money compared to women and everyone earned better money overall. You could pay off a home in 10 years. With affirmative action and 2nd wave feminism, it quickly tore that down in under 20 years between 1970 and 1990.
I dated a biological clock ticker in 1992. That seems like a long time ago now (Back to the Future!) She had priced herself out of the market and things were still not really all that bad.
3) The Baby Boom. Demographics for 2nd wave career women feminists were ideal between 1970 and 1990 setting an unrealistic precedent. Young Gen X women had their choice of more boys born in the baby boom times AND those men had better jobs. So they thought that the good times would roll forever.
It's interesting when we compare the USA to, say, Rome or even the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth (Yeah, I know, Polish pride. My ancestral nation kicked arse!) CENTURIES of domination. With 2nd wave feminism, it went to pot in 20 years and then after 30 years, it's collapsing like Kabul...
