WhereAreAllTheGoodMen Sidebar
We're just a bunch of clueless NiceGuys™ with kindness coins that don't seem to work in women's holes so that the sex we're "entitled to" falls out. Because apparently we weren't demonstrating good relationship material through the attention, respect and stability that women demand. We were only "pretending" to be nice just to get laid.
In response to r/niceguys, this forum is dedicated to exposing all the women who complain about wanting a "good man" after dating jerks and riding the cock carousel in the prime of their youth, and think they're deserving of commitment and financial stability when all they have left to offer is their depreciating looks, narcissistic mentality, used-up vaginas, and another man's kids.
Women in their 20s have numerous opportunities to date the decent men they claim to want, but many reject or friendzone these men for jerks and promiscuity. She takes advantage of a good dude's kindness for attention and favors, then accuses him of being a bad person who thinks he's entitled to sex.
But when she's in her 30s with depreciating looks, jerks who won't commit, the likelihood of being a single mom, and the social pressure from her married friends, she asks "Where have all the good men gone?"[1][2] Funny how back when she was chasing the bad boys "Being nice is the bare minimum", but now that she's past her prime and needs a bailout, she wants a man with nice guy traits.
Furthermore, dating jerks and riding the carousel before settling down with a good man is planned by many women, and encouraged by feminists. They then come to the dating market with unreasonable standards while offering little to no value themselves. Such women are totally unaware that the mature, stable men they now need are the same decent men they rejected, except these men remember the rejection and are responding in kind to avoid unstable, unappreciative women who view them more as ATMs than romantic partners.
The reason women end up here is because their behavior is not exposed as the lucid, self-destructive, feminist ideology that it is. And we're here to help Good Men guard their commitment and resources by exposing women who would make poor life partners and mothers of their children. Providing observations and opinions on the posts here allows us to better understand women's psyche and later depressive/miserable state when they are not held to a moral standard required for healthy, functioning relationships.

This is bullshit.
She was insecure of her own body, but was lazy to do nothing about it. She saw her husband having multiple options in real life and later online and still that did not prompt her to get off her ass, exercise and be a good wife. She relentlessly moved herself and her husband into a corner. And yet, her husband was understanding, encouraging and stood at the front of the corner knowing that they can get out. All she had to do was to follow his lead. What she did was to stab him in his back. She did not cheat because she was sure he was cheating on her, but because she felt inferior and wanted to prove to herself that she too had options. Maybe she got treated like a piece of meat or maybe she got guilty, but she seeked comfort from her husband by asking for forgiveness.
Reading between the lines of her text, he is not a dumb guy. He is smart, attractive, in demand and loyal. His loyalty prevented him from exercising his options. Now that she took the final reason to no longer be loyal to her, he left her. What a train wreck this is and what a loser she is. She lost a great husband, a good family, a good life and her self esteem forever because she was not strong enough to fight her battles herself and not smart enough to ignore her pride and to follow her husband's lead. Now she is what she should be: a cautionary tale for younger, smarter, more loyal women to never fuck up like she did. Those who can see this for what it is can learn from it. It's doubtful how many women these days will actually get that message.
Excellent find, OP.

Goddamn.
The one thing that gets me the most is she saw he REJECTED some whore's advances, but later decided to get 'revenge' for some made-up bullshit.
Fucking hell, he's better off -- and I don't blame him for ditching her at all.
mattyanon TRP Endorsed 1y ago
It really is complete horseshit yes.
She lost attraction and respect for a loyal and decent man. That's the reality. Too shy and insecure to fuck her husband to save her marriage, but willing to fuck an ex boyfriend for revenge? Even if true that makes her a horrific human being. But the reality is lack of attraction.
I think it's an attraction thing. "I don't feel good enough" is bullshit women say to hamster "not attracted".
"What can I do to save my marriage": what the fuck makes this woman think she deserves this great guy.
Loneliness-inc LvL 99 Rogue NiceGuy™ 1y ago
Can you be a horrific human being for losing attraction?
If losing attraction is outside her control, how would this make her a horrible human being?
Truth is, she is a horrific human being because SHE NEGLECTED HER OWN MARRIAGE.
She neglected her marriage in many ways, including sexually. She chose this. She could have chosen differently. That's why she's a horrible person.
Stop defending m'lady. Boohoo, she lost attraction? Nah. She did nothing to maintain her attraction. That's why she lost it.
mattyanon TRP Endorsed 1y ago
For the same reason that anyone is a horrible human being: they do horrible things regardless of which part of their brain did it. However, my point was hypothetical, hence prefaced with "even if true".
Right.... and the neglect is based on lack of attraction, lack of respect, and fundamental entitlement/laziness.
Obviously I am not defending her. She's awful - but men need to know the exact inner workings of women so they can defend/plan accordingly.

There's just no happy ending with modern women. It doesn't matter if you're tall, dark and handsome - and rich, and easygoing, and interesting, and owner of a huge schlong, and whatever -, if you're that perfect, you have got to be cheating on her. Nevermind that all evidence points to the opposite, she's sure you are cheating - and thus, her cheating is justified.
Also, there is an uptade to the post, but it's not that interesting. The husband came home, packed more things, informed her they're getting a divorce and only wants to be able to see the kid whenever possible. Oh, and she still hasn't told anyone else about her affair (and doesn't know if he did).
Lionsmane8 1y ago

Her allegedly insecurity driven infidelity is just an excuse to fabricate consent from the audience in order to avoid admitting she was a stupid slut. Turning on the waterworks and emotionally charged rhetoric to get sympathy instead of the castigation she knows she deserves.
Make no mistake, she does not care that what she did was wrong, or she'd have had the moral fiber to not do it to begin with. She's just trying to avoid the consequences.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 1y ago
Minor quibble... If she had wanted to avoid the consequences, she could have kept her big mouth shut and lived with her sin. Well, sort of. She'd have to live with a guilty conscience and that requires effort. She wanted to be able to blab it out to him and for him to pay for it, like everything else.
I had a (brief) girlfriend like this 35 years ago: She and I were starting to see each other and she banged her ex-boyfriend and told me because she wanted a clear conscience. "I could have NOT told you!" she reminded me and I suppose she had a point but that argument from her implied that having the affair and being "honest" with me negated the moral failure of her in doing it in the first place.
Simply DO NOT cheat. Don't do things you'll fell guilty about later. That way, you don't have to live with lies. It's as simple as that but also difficult particularly for those living live on easy mode.
Oh, one more thing.. she constantly expressed insecurity throughout the courtship and marriage and made no effort to improve despite his support. If the genders were reversed, nobody would have thought twice about a guy getting dumped failing the first shit test, or not being "confident" 100% of the time, and so on. Modern men need to be like Superman without a Kryptonite allergy.

And had hubby been dumb enough to forgive her, she'd go right back to pulling the same bullshit behaviors once sufficient stimulus presented itself to her, be it women hitting on him or another ex of hers in town that makes her feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel better.
Yeah her entire modus is "how can I not have the penalties for doing dumb shit?"
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
Kevin Samuels basically told this to some baby mama who got married, only to go and cheat on her husband with her baby daddy. When a man who has something going on marries a woman, he is committing his life to her. He has a lot to lose if the marriage fails. By telling it to him, you force him to either accept what happened and be weak, or leave you and accept the consequences of that action. If she really cared about her husband, she wouldn’t have told him and forced him into a no win situation. She’d have made sure it never happened again, that she’d do better as a wife, and that she’d figure out through Therapy or something how to clear her conscience.
In my mind, telling your man that you cheated is the ultimate beta shit test. Either he forgives you and you lose respect for him, or he punishes you. If you believed that your man was strong and masculine, you would know that betrayal is unforgivable, so you would be hiding that and hoping your ex never decides to blow up your situation.
Anyway, long winded way of saying that if it happens once, you feel like shit about it and it’s not going to happen again, don’t tell me. You deal with the psychological struggle. You figure out what bullshit white lie to tell me when you’re all stressed out.
Boar_excrement Jr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
So a stay at home mom with the only duty of opening her legs once in blue moon decides to unequivocally reject all evidence of her husbands faithfulness and cheat due to her 'feelz' and magical woman's intuition.
ROFLMFAO
And the upshot of all this is I did not see one sign that she was concerned about the pain she caused him. She was only worried about what she was losing: her income, security, status and lifestyle.
Good on the husband because he appears to be doing everything right. I hope he makes a clean escape from that pitiful marriage.

Indeed. Too many would've moped around for weeks/months and get pressured into attempting to reconcile. This guy was probably setting up a date while packing his bags.
And that's why, even when married, you can't let yourself go. Be the best version of yourself. You can't prevent her cheating, but you can prevent you being stuck in the relationship.
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
To be fair, you’re never stuck. Just remind yourself that being alone isn’t all that bad, and it beats being with a woman that doesn’t treat you right.
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 1y ago
By far. Lot of men would do good to realize they can either be officially single, or "officially" in a "relationship" where in any way that counts he really is still alone, but also stuck with her bills, baggage, and bullshit.
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
Yup. Being lonely sucks, but at least being lonely also means total freedom. That sounds a lot better than being with a woman who will leave you all alone with far less assets if your life takes a downward turn.

Story about a similar situation: A friend of mine whose a big 'chad'ish (he's decent looking to women) wound up marrying a bar skank he knocked up. She was way beneath him but he treated her well but she was grating on his nerves: She didn't clean around the home and went out drinking a lot with her friends while he was taking care of the kids (as well as being primary breadwinner). He put his foot down and told her to clean up her act. She decided to serve him divorce papers in response thinking she'd collect cash and prizes.
She was disappointed when the judge sided with him on the two daughters (at that time) with joint custody so no "child" support or alimony. Her standard of living plummeted and she asked to reconcile but was rebuffed by him. She reacted with spurned anger to this day (about 14 years later).
I bring this up because she engaged in parental alienation of the youngest daughter who, from photos I saw, has SEVERE daddy issues, blames him for the divorce and refusing to take mommy back, and has gone blue haired SJW obese looking 40 at the age of 22. A tragedy.
Modern women will take out their anger at their ex-husband on her own children.
In this modern system, to be a "good sacrificial lamb" of a father is to set an example for the children of being a spineless wimp which only worsens it.
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
Yeah, to stand your ground as a man risks having your baby mama do that. All the kids see is “who initiated the divorce”. And young kids are naturally more inclined to side with mom, because mom is the nice one and the one who is home with them. The kids don’t see the lack of effort being put in by mom.
It’ll also never cease to amaze me that all women need to do is be friendly and not fat, and they’re a viable wife for a man. And many can’t even perform that. 2 generations ago, I’d have been married at 23 because some woman “saw my potential”. Now I had to work for almost 15 extra years in order to qualify for the same women. It’s tough out there.

I know a great way to prove her love and possibly save her marriage or at least show him that she will do anything to save her marriage:
Go to the gym and lose the weight.
If someone suggested that, watch the tears dry up and she goes into a stunned silence at the mere thought of hard work. She would rather take the divorce.

I believe she fully intended on destroying her marriage. This is all a front to attempt to elicit sympathy from internet strangers. If anything I suspect that she already had the guy in mind from the start and just tried to come up with any justification at all to allow herself to cheat. She had to have known that this would blow up her marriage. My guess is she was hoping that it turned out he was cheating so she could not only redeem herself but then run away with the big payday in a divorce. But now she is going to get nothing, and won't even get the consolidation prize of her soon to be ex-husband's resources.
Edit: I also suspect she has been cheating for more than this event.
Seagram7 Jr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
I have either seen this or read about this a lot: it's all fun and games till she starts crunching numbers. When reality happens and she finds out it's not going to be a huge cash out, then the REAL emotions happen.
Finds out that alimony only lasts for half the duration of the marriage, the child support is chump change for her lifestyle (like 1200 a month), she has to get a job, No Fault divorce is 50/50 split so the house is sold and proceeds split, which she has to use to find a new place. On top of that, she is a divorced single mother post wall that has to go out back into the dating market. What man she can find she has to make sure that the next chump doesnt find out that she was a cheat in her last marriage, the loss of reputation, the loss of social status...did I leave anything out?
Cue the real emotions:
GimmeTheUsual Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
I remember with crystal clarity what happened when I lowered the boom to leave.
She asked "Do you want to do couples therapy?" and I nodded "no". And that was it - the only gesture of her wanting to "save" anything. Then she was on the phone with her mother announcing what was going on, no tears.
You see, I suspected she had cheated and later on found out that had been true - so she didn't want to save anything, because she had already done the deed, I just surprised her by unplugging first -- which to this day she is still bewildered by, as if I couldn't detect what the fuck was going on.
Anyway, when they're willing to give up, its because they've already disconnected in their heads. Women are fucking brutal when it comes to that.

'The guilt of cheating on my near perfect husband is making me feel bad, I shouldn't have to feel that way so I'll confess it to him so he can forgive me and I can feel better.'
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
One of Kevin samuels’ takes that was controversial (but that I agreed with) was that if you cheat on your man, and you feel bad and it won’t ever happen again, then don’t tell him. By telling him, the woman unburdens herself of her guilt and forces her man to be in a situation where now he has to do something about it.
Better off just correcting your behavior and talking to a therapist if you actually want to preserve the marriage. By cracking and telling her husband, she basically forced him into a spot where he had to act, or else she’d lose respect for him. It’s a terrible spot. If it really wasn’t going to happen again, then she should’ve kept her mouth shut and dealt with her guilt on her own.
Problematic_Browser Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
Her best apology would have been to shut her mouth, stop being a dumb slut, lose the weight, and give her husband the ass
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 1y ago
Exactly. If she really felt bad and valued her husband, she would’ve done this. Instead, she forced him to make hard decisions solely to preserve his manhood. He had to blow up his child’s family. And he was correct to do so; he was doing it all, and all he wanted in return was for her to care about her appearance and remain loyal. She couldn’t even do that for him.
But hey, the waterworks are a lot easier than going to the gym.
Impressive-Cricket-8 Founding member of FapGPT 1y ago
While I understand the thought behind that, we're not kids; I'd much prefer to make my choices based on all the information I can get and face the consequences of my own decisions.
Her keeping her affair a secret makes her more comfortable lying in the relationship and offers no real consequence to her cheating - since she still gets to play perfect wife to the world and has nobody breathing down her neck keeping tabs about where she is, who she's meeting and whatnot. If anything, I'd say it makes it probable that it'll happen again. There's no I regret the affair, I'll never do it again if there are no consequences; it's only when shit has hit the fan that they show some regret. Kevin Samuel's take is a paradox.
And so one should act. Leave her. Or, if she offers to do anything to keep you around, get a good lawyer to separate your lives and demand to sleep around while she stays at home wondering where you are - and proceed to attempt to bed her sister, her best friend, her hot younger cousing, her coworker, her boss, your coworker who she always said was a slut and her mother. It probably won't help with the reconciliation, but it'll be far more fun than going to a therapist to listen about how both of you have made mistakes.

There are some interesting thought experiments one can play. Imagine:
Scenario 1) You have a nice wife, perfect in every way, but she one time gets drunk and cheats with a co-worker who soon moves away. She feels terrible, never drinks to excess again, and doesn't tell you about it. You proceed to have a wonderful family and kids and she takes the secret to the grave.
Question: Would you have preferred she tell you about it tearfully and then you acted upon it above possibly resulting in the marriage breaking apart at some point?
(One I often played in my head during my single years...) Scenario 2) You find (what seems like) a nice gal and you have kids with her. The kids are wonderful: One is an athlete and smart and the daughter is sweet. You love them terribly. The wife gets nasty and entitled and eventually files papers on you and divorce rapes you. She takes the house, the car, the dog, and the kids. You pay child-support and live in a hut working 60 hours a week and babysit the kids on weekend while she gets plowed by her boyfriends.
Question: If you had a time machine and could go back and fix things, would you remain single and keep the home, car, and dog but remain childless?
There's no "right" answer. It's about what you value, of course. For me, I'd prefer she kept it to herself. For number 2, I'd go in the time machine and "Back to the Future" the kids into existential nonethingness.
They're fun questions to ask friends when drinking for the holidays...
Impressive-Cricket-8 Founding member of FapGPT 1y ago
Hard questions. But in case 1, there'll never be a consequences-free cheating; even if she got no STDs or kids and nobody but herself and the guy knows about what happened, she'll still feel the guilt - which, in turn, will change the relationship (if she doesn't feel any guilt, she's a sociopath). Granted, it changed the relationship for the better - but she only made the changes to atone for what she has done, and not because she felt like the relationship was worth it. It boils down to a comfortable lie or an ugly truth, and I honestly get the appeal of a comfortable lie; but that's predicated on everything going according to plans, and that's hardly the case in real life.
I remember reading a guy's series of posts in Reddit about his experience with one of those DNA kits en vogue during 2020. Two of his three kids weren't his, and he had what he would have described as an awesome relationship until then. His wife was cheating with the neighbour for years during the beginning of their relationship, then got her head out of her ass and became a model wife. All it took was two bastards and paternity fraud; and she fully intended to take the secret to the grave
and she would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids. But a few decades later, and it all went down the drain. There really are no way to make sure she'll manage to keep it to the grave - a simple medical exam could break the illusion -, and once it's out, the hurt will be amplified by the years of lying.lurkerhasarisen A Strategist Among Tacticians 1y ago
I remember that post... I was furious on his behalf. Routine DNA testing wasn't a thing when she was getting knocked up by the neighbor, but the truth is that you have to assume that secrets like that will come to light eventually.
Her decision to "straighten up and take her secret to the grave" forced the guy to lose everything. If she had come clean the first time he could have dumped her lying whore ass and married a good woman... instead he has invested his life into two bastard children and a whore of a wife, and it's too late for him to start over.
He can't think, "Well, we had a good life and it was a long time ago," either. Everything about his marriage and family was a lie. The passage of time doesn't make it better... it makes it infinitely worse.
It's like that story a few years ago about the Italian WW2 veteran who found out that his wife (to whom he'd been married for 70 years), had committed adultery in the 1940s. He promptly divorced that whore, and rightly so. Her pretending to be a good wife for 70 years to assuage her guilty conscience (if she even had one), doesn't turn 70 years of fraud into truth.

Her self loathing sent her to find signs of her husband's infidelity. There weren't any but that couldn't be right because there should be, otherwise she'd be the loser in the relationship, and she's not a loser right... right??
I wonder if she knew beforehand that her husband would leave her if she cheated she would still do it.

How does one take long screenshots like this?

I'm not sure about others, but I use the Snipping Tool and Paint to make a montage.

My phone has a "recording scroll" type option whenever I take a screenshot, and I use the app StitchIt! (which is free) if I need to join multiple screenshots.

Just goes to show you, you CANNOT be good enough for a woman. No matter what you do, no matter how you act, no matter how well you treat her, she will betray you eventually. And believe me, I hate saying things like this. I wish it weren't so.
It's a rigged game. The only winning move is not to play.

This was no beta bucks. This was legitimately a good, masculine man who took pride in his appearance, his work ethic, and simply wanted to share with a woman he cared about. Even with her weight gain, he was compassionate and just wanted her to follow his lead.
Instead, she had to go and blow it all up. All because instead of being proactive in keeping a high value man, she simply got jealous that he has options.
Her love life is ruined. Alpha widow mode engaged.

Yep... there's no way she's going to get a man anywhere near his level now. All of her options are bad compared to what she would have had by just keeping her legs closed.
She's going to spend every day for the rest of her life knowing that she threw away a winning lottery ticket for a rucksack full of bricks.

Unfortunately, she kept her legs closed to the one man she should have opened them for, her husband.

Yup. And if her writing is any bit accurate, he still has the same good looks as before, but additional years to build his income earning potential. His value is potentially higher, especially since he can claim to be the betrayed one (he doesn’t even come with the red flags a divorced HVM normally comes with, he’s legitimately a good man). He can find a new wife if he so chooses, and she’ll probably be prettier than this woman, now that he’s learned that marrying down is no guarantee of loyalty.
And yeah, no dude will ever stack up because she will never get closure from her soon to be ex-husband. He responded exactly like a sigma male would to betrayal, which is holding frame and making a decision with logic. And valuing himself and what he contributed to a marriage. Versus trying to beg someone that’s taking way more than she’s giving to stay or offering some sort of olive branch.

At first, I didn't see much in this particular post but it's pure gold. A woman gets her dream: The alpha bucks who cares about her and she blows it. It provides dozens of fascinating human insights.
Due to centuries, repeat centuries, of fairy tales, chivalry, and modern feminism, western women have been conditioned to regard helplessness, entitlement, and laziness as a virtue. Consider fairy tales such as The Princess and the Pea and Sleeping Beauty. The ultimate feminine virtue is to be the "table" and as a table, an utterly unadorned, rickety one at that.
This reminds me of the decadent "Real Housewives of" series on Bravo which feature entitled women who spend their time catfighting each other and eating at expensive restaurants. The Matrix films claimed a premise that "humans" would reject a virtual reality comprised of happiness and ease so they stuck people in perpetual 1990's Los Angeles.

Humans do reject it, only in different ways. With the leisure available to them, they invent struggle, because struggle was what built strong ancestors. This woman was devoid of struggle, and not even being punished for failing to live up to minimal standards. So she went and found struggle.

I'm chuckling about my colleague and I different parenting styles. He's a great guy, and I only know part of the story, but I heard him asking his kids over the phone who were "bored" at home: "Did you play video games? Do you have toys?" I shook my head in wonderment.
If I was a kid and I even LOOKED somewhat idle, I'd have a dozen unpleasant chores saddled on me in a minute.
In the case of this guy in the story who heard his wife gripe about her weight and then refuse to go to the gym with him and he was still "supportive", I would have reacted differently. I would have said "I told you if you want to lose weight, work out with me. Otherwise, I don't want to hear you whine AGAIN about it. If you can't cheer up, then my health insurance covers counseling."
Women are fantastic at finding new and ever creative higher standards for us men to live up to. We need to hold them to some as well. Chivalry was the notion of treating all women as princesses however they acted. We need to treat women according to their actual behavior.

This woman got the husband every woman wants: a handsome man who has options but is loyal and took care of her and tried to encourage her to be her best self, so what does she do? She gets fat, refuses to go to the gym, refuses to put out, goes through his phone, finds no evidence of infidelity but assumes he is cheating anyway, then cheats on him with her ex. The guy did the right thing by immediately getting out, but the fucked up thing is he will likely still has to pay alimony and probably child support to this worthless fat cunt. What incentive is there for any man to get married at this point? I hope he least let the family know the truth before she could spread bullshit lies about him.
