First of all, her SMV is nowhere near high enough to even consider doing a spreadsheet like this. She has no bargaining power. This is mental masturbation at best

2a) she can't trust her own judgement. She needs numbers to tell her to date a guy or not

2b) women are feels driven. No matter how much logical or numeric weight she puts here. It won't matter. Some guy who makes her feel loads of tingles in something she assigned very few point is going to break her assessment. Likewise a guy could get all the points but inspire zero tingkes

2c) like every other woman out there, she probably actually doesn't know what she wants. Thus her point system is based on theory, not what she will actually like when she sees it in the moment

3) there is an extremely high chance that it is actually the guys getting all the deductions that she goes home with. Which is ironically probably why she has to have deductions, or else she'll have unrestrained tingles

4) her entire spreadsheet has an additional flaw. If a guy theoretically scores perfect on it, but also gets all the deductions too, he's still bf material?

He can check off all her wants but does she still go for him if he has all the negatives as well

Ultimately her decision is completely subjective, her own objective system fails to check and balance the fact that she has a mental rubber-stamp that will veto any numeric assessment she makes

5) the friends telling her to post it are likely spinsters. Their advice on what should be in it as well is also probably bunk

Design your spreadsheet after young women who got their perfect man early, fuck is with this spinster math? Your spreadsheet is just flawed from a source standpoint

6) her list of things has some unrealistic qualities like "single for 6 months" unless she just means no relationships in 6 months. No more than "one divorce"

Her list is just bad. But on top of that, I'm sure he's list is just completely missing scoring options of things that matter to her on a "I just had sparks with him" level. Making so much of her spreadsheet just absolute bunk

In conclusion she just has a fundamentally flawed boyfriend assessment system here and ultimately will disregard it

Bonus points: she's 42 and still wants kids. Woman. Fuck you thinking? Your eggs are gone. And the holdover eggs you might still have probably won't get fertilized no matter how much you try

1) the perfect “marketing strategy” for a woman is to get yourself a boyfriend that can lead to marriage when you’re 18-22. Before hopping on the CC. It’s a lot easier to sell water to a man who has been wandering the desert all day, than it is to sell dirt to them. She might think that this is genius sales and marketing, but the product for sale is demonstrably worse.

2) as alluded to before, the product matters. Because, you see, this is a zero sum game. It’s not like you’re trying to sell a product like insurance or education, where maybe they use another product now but might switch to yours in the future. This is men looking for a wife, and you only get one shot at that. So if anyone is going to offer them a better product, they’re going to take that. Right now, this broad’s strategy appears to be the equivalent of a borderline out of business private university with a degree mill reputation deciding to only accept students who have the grades and test scores to attend prestigious schools, and then being shocked when no one enrolls.

As vermillion has said, this list is stupid. It’s clearly been accumulate through her years on CC of things she doesn’t like especially the deductions but she still dated men like that.

I’m guessing she sees it as well if he ticks all these boxes there’s no way he wouldn’t be my dream man. But nobody is perfect and he could but not be attractive enough or be infertile or whatever. It’s good to have a basal requirement but if you ask women to list what they cover in the opposite end they’d struggle.

If you’re writing a list of those requirements then you should also provide the opposite benefit

She took marketing classes, but what she really should have taken is classical Economics. The most relevant part of Econ would 'sticky prices', or if you want the fancy term, 'nominal rigidity'.

Sticky prices perfectly describes the situation whereby the market changes (due to supply or demand or inflation or something) but the merchants have this price stuck in their heads, which is based on historic prices. This is far more common than you think. The price of diamonds is crashing right now, and stock holders all over the world are going bankrupt because the following has happened - synthetic diamonds! The new diamonds come along, they look and feel exactly like the old diamonds, but they are half the price. The traditional jewellers believe that they are 'experts' (the experience fallacy) and will not let sell their old stock at a market clearing price. They cannot comprehend the decline, because in their 40 year experience, prices only go up (inflation). So they wait. And the prices go down even more.

this is exactly what has happened to this woman. Her value has fallen dramatically. I can see that she used to have a high value. But she has fallen for the 'sticky prices' bias, and she cannot comprehend that, as they say in the markets...'Price has no memory'.

She labels this 'my marketing plan to find a man' ....but she is doing absolutely nothing to market her product. Nothing. She doesn't seem to understand, in the slightest, what marketing means. All she is doing is creating a list of criteria that disqualifies what few customers there may be in the market that might have some interest in the product.

This is the opposite of a marketing plan. This is a plan to drive a business into bankruptcy, by simply disqualifying any and all possible clients.
