For those who don't know, Aaron Clarey (aka Captain Capitalism) was among the bloggers who originated the Red Pill way back in the day (along with Rollo, Roissy/Heartiste, Roosh, Hawaiian Libertarian, Dalrock, and some others I'm forgetting).
This excerpt from his latest book, "A World Without Men", helps to answer part of The Big Question: Where Are All The Good Men?
Some of what he says about the new generations of young men comes close to violating our rule 1, but this is so good that I'm exercising some of muh mod privilege to post it this weekend.
I encourage everyone to give this a listen, especially any lurking women.

He did a good job outlining the many reasons I keep saying women are the architects of their own Doom (fate) when it comes to relationships.
And the voting habits of those helping create a welfare state is exactly why I think enfranchisement should have performance based prerequisites. Allowing leeches to vote regardless of their identity is a horrid idea and we are seeing the "crop" of that coming to fruit.
If you refuse to be called upon to defend your nation, you do not deserve a say in it. If you are not a net benefit to your nation, you do not deserve a say in it. If you have a divided loyalty, you do not deserve a say in it.

I don't think it violates Rule 1 in that the men are being rational much of the time, even if it's short-sighted. I largely agree with the analysis, albeit I think he missed a few key components, in that there's little stick for young men to be slackers and little carrot as well. Case in point: A dear friend of mine who tried to work out his marriage with his slovenly wife who served him divorce papers and she resented him prevailing in family court because she was a lush with multiple DUIs. She then tried to reconcile when she saw there wasn't a huge payday and he said no, so she punished him via their mutual 2 daughters. Both of the girls now look like the stereotype blue haired obese harpies with little chance of providing their grandmothers with viable grandchildren. Is it wrong for young men to sit in their mothers' basements and pay video games rather than roll the dice and have that happen to them?
The irony of the white male bashing that worked great for bourgeois Karens back in the 1980's is that the oppressed-entitlement pie grew as millions of cheap labor immigrants flooded into the nation. The overhead from all this has undermined any net gains that the white girl Karens got from affirmative action and chivalry as they face decades of college debt and 30 year "starter house" payments. Like in Rome, when everyone has a "cash out while the getting out is good" attitude, the profiteers destroy the society from within as they compete to profit from the destruction.
However... we do see a core RP community that has come to its senses and slowly infiltrating into the mainstream as terms we have commonly used become public vernacular. I don't think the elites are these Illuminati-style geniuses with century long plans: I think they're products of the larger culture themselves often even more deluded than the rest of us precisely because they're insulated from the economic consequences of their silliness. We need more Kevin Costners getting reamed in Family Court.

I'll take the free government services, free rent, and video games. Why work harder at a job I hate so I can have my free stuff taken away? I'd rather work for myself, keep my income low, and profit off all you prideful rich guys paying taxes (thanks, by the way). I know it's a stupid system, and I didn't vote for any of it. But "you're just a loser" is really a bad argument for doing it any other way. I'm content, have no debt, and provide for my family. You can whine about bootstraps all day, until you stop paying taxes or overthrow this crap government, it's gonna get worse.

Michel Houellebecq in his debut novel 'Whatever' was way ahead of his time. Here's his estimate of economic liberalism and how it destroyed societies, including the sexual marketplace (80-20 rule). I wonder why he isn't a RP icon yet.

The opening paragraph totally put me off - it reads "The majority of American men are equally worthless ...they're living at home, collecting a government cheque, getting fat, they have no ambition, no drivers licence, no savings, and no game plan with what they are going to do with their lives.
Firstly, if that's not man shaming, I don't know what is.
Secondly, and much more importantly, is this true? I don't believe it is. He says the MAJORITY Of men are basement dwelling fat incels with no DL. This is just not borne out in the stats.

Yeah that part has to be hyperbole. I could maybe believe it if he said the majority of men are working low-income jobs and hardly paying any tax (which to be fair, to women that's about the same as fat basement-dwelling incel), but the majority mooching off the state? Nah, no country has a social safety net that strong.

“We want more social services!” = more incentive for men to nut and bolt. You get less upstanding dudes who will wait until marriage and plan a family intelligently, and more dudes who will work under the table to avoid paying as much as he can in child support to his multiple baby mamas.
“We need equity” = more men forced into disenfranchisement in order to make room for women. I’ve said it before, but disenfranchised men are a source of a lot of societal issues, hence why more civilized societies have made it a point to enfranchise as many men as possible (like monogamous marriage laws). People shouldn’t be shocked when they’re constantly told that there’s no higher power or greater reason to exist, and also be denied a chance to procreate, and proceed to not GAF about anything.

That is pretty much where I am at right now. I am done with serving society and others. I used to volunteer as a firefighter/EMT. I supported civic events and was active in several groups. No more. I was not appreciated then and I am sure that has not changed.
Now, I focus on my hobbies and interests. I only look after immediate family and a very small circle of friends. After that, I don't have any reason to care.

Indeed. If God didn’t exist we would have to make Him up (leaving aside the fact that if God didn’t exist we wouldn’t either). So when western society decided that God was too much of a buzz-kill, they replaced him with other deities: the environment, sex, drugs, materialism, identity politics, etc. Society cannot hold together without the glue of a common moral code, and without a general agreement on the existence of a transcendent moral lawgiver, as well as what that lawgiver decrees. Consequently, people who fall for that foolishness see no reason to give a crap about anything they don’t perceive as being personally beneficial.
Other societies have attempted this before with universally disastrous results, but since nobody knows anything about history they rush headlong into the abyss… cocksure of their “modern” sensibilities and contemptuous of those of us sounding the alarm.

Whenever someone tries to rationalize feminine supremacy via bird societies of males pandering to the females, I point out that our planet is not dominated by birds. The Patriarchy is what got us out of the savannah foraging for nuts and becoming the dominant species on the planet and that Patriarchy wasn't just elite men, but men overall. The early civilizations and feudal societies were stable, but also largely stagnant. The Egyptians had a society that lasted for 3000 years but this begs the question: compare and contrast their progress to the USA in the past 2 centuries. Yeah, I know not totally fair but hear me out: The Egyptians built these grand pyramids and then... that's it. Their elitist run societies with a feudal order largely was stagnant and eventually wiped out. The feudal societies of medieval Europe were overrun by the Mongols: A bunch of barbarians on horseback. You get a strong middle class of men and you can conquer the planet and even outer space.
Feminism has been about restoring feudalism hence why so many women call themselves "ladies" or victim entitlement princesses. They destroyed the family unit so they could whore themselves out. And for what? To buy consumer products made by rich, gay white male who make designer bags and shoes? Like selling Manhattan for glass beads.
I personally wasn't brainwashed by wanting to get laid but rather this silly notion of 'equality' and 'inclusion' and such which nobody else cared about except for naive rubes like me. That was my personal RP and I fell out of it in about my first year at college where I realized I was the "privileged patriarchy" because I grew up in a coal mining town and had to earn literally everything I had.
It would be kind of cool, since the Republican party is pretty much dead at a national level, to form a "Bring back the Patriarchy" party. Imagine the diverse (literally) coalition of men that might consider joining along with many women. You gals don't want to work 40 years for a starter home? Bring Back The Patriarchy!

That’s cute that you think these women can ever afford an actual home. Most of these “strong and independent” women will struggle to even achieve that. A working class man can figure out things like basic home and auto maintenance and live in a less desirable part of the world in order to scrape by a modest living. At best, these women will have some condo in the suburbs. And probably have to refinance a bunch. They might have it paid off by 70

When my wife first came to the states, she worked at Ann Taylor we live close to. We had a snow storm that dropped 2 meters, 6 feet, of snow on the ground and she opened the store because we were close. A Russian woman drove from 20 miles away to buy a T-shirt. My wife nearly killed her "What idiot risks her life to buy a T-shirt?"
It's a sort of blessing that nobody gives a shit about us white males and doesn't pander to us in advertisements. They're invisible to me but women are pushed to buy all kinds of overpriced consumer crap. If it wasn't for me, I think my wife would be broke in under 2 years.
