WhereAreAllTheGoodMen Sidebar
We're just a bunch of clueless NiceGuys™ with kindness coins that don't seem to work in women's holes so that the sex we're "entitled to" falls out. Because apparently we weren't demonstrating good relationship material through the attention, respect and stability that women demand. We were only "pretending" to be nice just to get laid.
In response to r/niceguys, this forum is dedicated to exposing all the women who complain about wanting a "good man" after dating jerks and riding the cock carousel in the prime of their youth, and think they're deserving of commitment and financial stability when all they have left to offer is their depreciating looks, narcissistic mentality, used-up vaginas, and another man's kids.
Women in their 20s have numerous opportunities to date the decent men they claim to want, but many reject or friendzone these men for jerks and promiscuity. She takes advantage of a good dude's kindness for attention and favors, then accuses him of being a bad person who thinks he's entitled to sex.
But when she's in her 30s with depreciating looks, jerks who won't commit, the likelihood of being a single mom, and the social pressure from her married friends, she asks "Where have all the good men gone?"[1][2] Funny how back when she was chasing the bad boys "Being nice is the bare minimum", but now that she's past her prime and needs a bailout, she wants a man with nice guy traits.
Furthermore, dating jerks and riding the carousel before settling down with a good man is planned by many women, and encouraged by feminists. They then come to the dating market with unreasonable standards while offering little to no value themselves. Such women are totally unaware that the mature, stable men they now need are the same decent men they rejected, except these men remember the rejection and are responding in kind to avoid unstable, unappreciative women who view them more as ATMs than romantic partners.
The reason women end up here is because their behavior is not exposed as the lucid, self-destructive, feminist ideology that it is. And we're here to help Good Men guard their commitment and resources by exposing women who would make poor life partners and mothers of their children. Providing observations and opinions on the posts here allows us to better understand women's psyche and later depressive/miserable state when they are not held to a moral standard required for healthy, functioning relationships.

Have you noticed that modern women ALWAYS say that they are 'attractive'?
That's because in the female hive mind, 'being attractive' is an identity. And identity, in the modern femocentric world, is anything you want to be. Born a women but you want to be a man? Fine, you are now magically somehow a man (and anyone who says otherwise is now committing a hate crime and can be prosecuted).
This logic is applied to anything. If a woman thinks and feels that she is attractive, she is now suddenly attractive. And anyone that says otherwise is hateful / incel / right wing / Trumpist / etc etc etc.
In the femocracy, words no longer have meaning, because meaning is a tool of the patriarchy.

Which means you either chose poorly or your belligerent attitude drove him away. Given the tone of the rest of the post I'm banking on the latter.
'Course, there's always the possibility it's both.
And I'm the smartest, most charming man in the room. At least until someone else walks in.
You can assign yourself all the positive qualities of which you can conceive. None of it matters unless those around you agree with that assessment.
Spoiler alert: as a general rule, the more you crow from the rooftops about how great you are, the less likely they are to do so.
None of which means sweet fuck all to the men you want to pursue you. Does your inner self know how to cook and clean and run a quiet, peaceful home? Does your inner self know how to shut the fuck up and trust the man you've chosen to handle shit without nagging him?
If not, all that "work" you've put into developing your "inner self" has been just so much mental masturbation.
No, being a single mother is a death sentence, or so it probably feels to a woman who's suddenly discovered she no longer has pretty girl privilege.
You're right about the second part, though. You aren't worth anything beyond those things you can provide for which others are willing to negotiate. Welcome to what men get to deal with our entire lives.
What is it women love to say to "nice guys?" Oh yeah:
You don't get credit for doing the bare minimum.

When an ex wife says "my ex refuses to take care of his kids" its useful to remember that there are two sides to every story.
What is usually going on is that the father IS taking care of the kids, as per the court order, but he is refusing to take care of his ex-wife. That is what she is griping about. She is incensed that she no longer gets the perks of being married to a provider (ski trips, new cars, handbags that cost more than what she earns in 2 months) etc.
Ask me how I know.

Yeah, this is what always throws me. As much as they complain that guys these days don't have their shit together, they lead with their "accomplishments" which are basically the bare minimum of being an adult. Let's see, you have a job, you pay taxes, and you take care of your kids. Congratulations! You want a medal for that? Oh right, you don't want a medal, you feel you deserve a man...
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
When I hear someone say "I pay my taxes" I always groan. It's like saying "I don't murder people!"
Paying taxes is just obeying the law. That's all it is.

I'm reminded of the line by Harry Truman: "“I never did give them hell. I just told the truth, and they thought it was hell.”
She's not "dead", just that like you said, she no longer has pretty girl privilege. Her ability to sit around and wait for hot guys to lavish her with free goodies to have sex with her AND for her to try to leverage that into a LTR now longer is possible. It's like someone saying they're "dead" because instead of waiting for someone to bring them food, they have to get up and cook it themselves.
This ties into her claim about having worked on herself, being self-sufficient, and having something to offer men: She doesn't offer these traits to make men's lives easier. Note: It doesn't mean she should chase after a bum, but rather many men would like a woman who is helping to make his life easier and willing to make personal sacrifices for the long term good of a team.
woodsmoke Respectful reprobate 9mo ago
Aye. I've shared on the .reds before about the woman I briefly dated a couple years back. She was 36 and a single mother of 4, so I knew going in there was precious little chance of anything long term coming out of it. That said, she treated me very well. She was happy to cook and care for me, always made an effort to be pleasant company even when I could plainly see she was frustrated and/or exhausted, never turned me down without having a solid reason for doing so.
I ain't ashamed to admit I fell for her, and hard. Ultimately didn't work out between us (I don't share her faith, which is a big deal to her), but it's a testament to how bad things are that a 36-year-old single mother still stands head-and-shoulders above most of the younger, childless women I've dealt with due solely to the fact she actually behaved like a woman should.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 9mo ago
It's rather astonishing that her faith was that much of a deal meaning she sounds quite traditional and not just another trad-con.
My wife and I love our local church even if we're not very religious in that I'm an atheist, but I like being around people who treat each other well and care about their community. On the other hand, ironically, I was very religious in my youth but NOBODY in the church cared one whit about me so I just got tired of a faith that was doing nothing for me. I simply keep my mouth shut and don't offend anyone.
Another irony is that when I was with a MILF 30 years ago, she was of higher quality than the young women around her: She didn't have face piercings, she dressed feminine, she didn't wear a scowl, she said "please/thank you", and other basic human niceties. Her daughters both were so awful that she joked that she was shocked when one got knocked up by a guy at a party because she thought the girl was a lesbian. Hoflation means that older women sometimes are a better value but with this caveat:
I broke up with her because she was single for a reason: She was a drama queen and didn't want to get her act together. If she had been smart, I'd have stuck with her. I broke up with her and referred a friend to her for legal services (she's quite competent) and I dug him for gossip and he said that she looked like an old lady. She had just turned 54. Basically, she hit the wall hard. And that's the problem with many otherwise fine 40 something gals: If a man has spent his 20's and 30's working hard to be successful, does he want to buy a 250,000 mile Toyota?
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
I think a better analogy would be a 60,000 mile Range Rover.
250,000 toyotas are fine for another 100,000 miles.
The ranger rover is going to take you down, all the way to china town.

She's "isolated" while being "used for sex." ... There is about a metric fuckton of stuff here she isn't telling us. Abuse doesn't just randomly follow her around, wherever she goes.
This reminds me of my ex who would break promises, lie, make messes, embarrass me in front of family, sponge off my income and insult me. But when I acted angry at her for doing those things, she would put on this wide-eyed innocent act and tell everyone that I got mad at her "for no reason." '
And when I pointed out "I got mad because you break promises-" ("I didn't! I just change my mind! I'm allowed to change my mind!") "-lie-" ("I never lie!! NEVER EVER EVER! Why do you call me a liar?! You're so mean to me!") "-make messes-" ("I just forget to clean them up!") "-embarrass me in front of family-" ("It was a joke! I didn't know it would make you mad!") "-sponge off my income-" ("You're cheap! CHEAP!") "-and insult me-" ("Look, I only said that I refuse to eat anything you cook because all your cooking is so GROSS! That's not an insult, it's the truth!").
She was perfect the whole time. Always. "YOU'RE SO MEAN TO MEEE!!!!" she would sob, and the next day she would continue to do exactly what had been pissing me off in the first place.

The "cheap" slur was one of the number one insults women used against me to no avail perhaps because I considered it a compliment. :-)
We should turn it around on them: "I really want a woman who pays for the date. You don't want to be cheap do you? Oh, and you need to tip generously too!" I think their head would explode like that scene with Austin Powers and the fembots.

Was chatting with the cow-orkers the other day and the subject of shoes somehow came up. One of the women there was absolutely blown away when all the men said we have one pair o' shoes that we wear for more or less everything, and most of us don't even own a second pair. She couldn't fathom why we'd only have one pair of shoes, we couldn't fathom why we should have more than that when the one is doing everything we need 'em to.
Land_of_the_losers the-niceguy.com 10mo ago
She only called me "cheap" when I refused to buy her expensive and useless shit that she didn't need.
Soon after I moved to her city, my printer broke. (I'd been using it for years and it was obsolete anyway.) At my job, I was allowed to print basically anything I wanted so I didn't really need one. But she moves in with me with nothing but her clothes, and has me accompany her on a number of extended shopping expeditions to buy her the things she needs (and I'm using "NEED" loosely here.) if she's going to live with me. Everything from new shower curtains to a new pet ("Couch-Crapper" was its unofficial name) to exactly the right brand of crackers that she would put in a cupboard and forget about.
So maybe a month after all of that-- and I'd been spending thousands of dollars for the sake of making her comfortable and building goodwill and showing that I wanted to be a good partner-- then she says that she wants a printer. I ask her: "What do you need a printer for?" She says "I found this website with ghost stories, and I don't wanna sit at the desk and read them, I wanna print them out and read them in bed."
I'm like "Uh... that's all?" "Yeah, that's all!" I look at her sternly "Uh, if that's the only reason you want a printer, then no." "Oh, but maybe I also wanna print some crossword puzzles too!" "Uh, no. I'm not going to get you a printer just so you can print ghost stories." "But whyyyy? I want one!" "Do you know how much those things cost??" "YOU'RE CHEAP"
A few weeks later: "I want a printer." "Why do you NEED a printer?" "I told you, I wanna print ghost stories!" "That's not a NEED! You don't NEED to print 6th Sense fanfiction and word jumbles!" "YOU'RE CHEAP"
A week later: "Why won't you get me a printer??" "Because you don't need one!" "Yeah, I really wanna read ghost stories in bed. And I'm all out of crossword puzzles..." "LOOK, if you said you wanted to print resumes for job-hunting, then maybe I'd consider it. But you just sit around, doing crossword puzzles. Shouldn't you be applying for jobs??" "I COULD APPLY FOR JOBS IF I HAD A PRINTER!! I need to print resumes!" Which was something she had NEVER said before that point. So now, she needed a printer to print one or two resumes and then a few reams of ghost stories.
Next day: "Here, this is a stack of resumes that I printed at the office. Now you don't NEED a printer." "But I want a printer." "No, I'm not going to get you a thousand dollar laser-printer just so you can print a bunch of ghost stories, run out of toner and complain to me to you want more toner." "YOU'RE SO CHEAP!"
And that's only one example of the bullshit.

It's a pity I didn't know you back then. You could have had her say these things in front of me and I would have been shock therapy.
You bring back more memories. I gave away a Brother 1440 printer I wish I didn't. The toner AND drum were gone and it would cost a pretty penny, but that USB thing was so reliable. I got a Samsung which is pretty good on sale. I like that I can use it with wifi but haven't taken advantage of that fully. I can set up my wife's laptop to use it which is great but for now I'm just usb-sticking pdf files to print from it. I tell people to stay as far away as possible from inkjet. I got one in the 90's and it was miserable. I eventually e-wasted it.
I dig that women may want new shower curtains from time to time and new towels, bath mats, and such. They're like cats and want clean stuff. Ross is great for that. I get senior discount on tuesdays (bring your mom along if you need to).
The gals looking to milk "generous" guys quickly gave up on me. You can't get blood from a stone and I'm the stoniest stone out there. I lived a very frugal life when I was young and don't forget. A dear friend of mine was laid off and she lays in bed worrying about money and I asked her about her nice house and cars and she said "I spent the money as it came in" and I didn't tell her off, but that's precisely why I'm cheap. Nothing feels better than eff-you money in your pocket. NOTHING.

Land_of_the_losers the-niceguy.com 10mo ago
Japanese apartments don't really have space for "stuff" and the houses don't have basements. In most Japanese dwellings, the bookshelves have every nook and cranny filled. There's at least one room for guests which is clean and spartan. It's therefore not easy for the wife and I to accumulate things that we don't use and we typically need to think about making significant purchases. My wife is good at mending clothes, finding discounts, keeping inventory and maximizing the use of closet space. That all suits me just fine, those skills are all assets.
NotaBene Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
Same, if you live below the poverty level you have to figure out lots of tricks to make things work.
Also early on I created a financial system whereby we both get "spending" money for ourselves if, and only if, we do well for the month. We keep track of all spending and earning, and sit down once a month to figure out if we get anything. This system rewards her for being even more frugal than she already is, while also being very "fair" in that I get the same amount of discretionary funds as she does.
It eliminates all fights about money, if she wants something she just saves up herself, I don't have to worry about it. Nearly 20 years running, great system.

Right there is a BLARING RED KLAXON that this bitch is toxic as fuck. She clearly resents her kids for limiting her ability to fuck around.
Also, it's massive cope - I'll be a kind and generous God and assume she waited until her early 20's to pop out a couple guaranteed paychecks, so she is definitely going to be 40+ by the time they move out at minimum.
40+ year old women are not in demand by the kind of men that 40+ year old women want. Presuming otherwise is delusional on the part of the woman.
So she's toxic and delusional and pushing middle age/perimenopause. Then add in the inconsistencies others have noted in her complaints and assertions and it becomes clear she's a fucking liar too. I'm just saying....there may be a reason she's single.
Land_of_the_losers the-niceguy.com 10mo ago
I guess I found it a little odd that she thought that men use her for sex because of her kids, but after the kids are gone, the men will change their behavior and commit to her. They will no longer want-- or "use," to echo her terminology for a mutually consented activity-- her body for sex.
Sure, Jan. The kids' presence is what makes makes the men act as if you're an easy lay. It's not that you voluntarily make yourself their fucktoy and expect a lifetime of financial support to materialize afterwards.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
The jokes on her in that after the kids are gone and she's dating the late 40's guys, what motivation do these men have to wife her up? They've either personally experienced, or have friends, who have been divorce raped. They can't have children with her. She certainly is not offering up any of her "accomplishments" to make his life easier. They've had decades of women playing games with them destroying any youthful naivety on romance.
She'll be further hardened in that the only men who stick around with her (short term) will be those looking for an easy lay and will lie to her: "Hi! You're paying for this date, right? Well, let me tell you I don't put out on the first date. I want something REAL!" Men with self-respect or honesty will opt out, but the ones who remain will put on a pretense of trying to have a LTR but if she doesn't put out after a few dates, he'll say "the chemistry isn't there" and bounce. If he gets action, he'll hang out for a while but if she gets grouchy or treats him wrong, again "the chemistry isn't there" will hit her again. He may even mean it. Even if a man tries, she fails to realize that she didn't have what it took for a LTR in her 20's and now even less so later on.
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
She'd literally be better off just officially being a whore - and she'd contribute more to society too since men could give her $20 to get a blowjob and not have to deal with her nagging and other BS.
Instead she's trying to church it up and abuse transactional relationship tactics and still managing to lose despite having a vagina trump card.
Behold, the modern womyn.
hornetsfalcons12 Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
1) talks about not having sex and complains about men using women for sex in the same paragraph. You mean to tell me that she’s just fought off all of her primal urges for sex for years? My wife is all but pulling my D out and stuffing it in her if we haven’t done it in awhile for whatever reason, so I know she wants sex. Because women want sex. Maybe not as much as we want sex, but still.
2) why isn’t he taking care of his kids? Men don’t just “not take care of their kids” unless there’s some glaringly obvious red flag that they came with ahead of time. Like that they’re a brokie with no ambition, or an absolute raging asshole, or something that should’ve been easily detectable. Or that he learned that the kids aren’t his, though she seems to suggest that’s not true (I’ll take her word for it). Now that she has gotten two genetic payloads from this dude, she wants a superior man to give her the companionship. She should have thought of that beforehand.
3) to women like this: you don’t owe us sex. We don’t owe you relationships. If you’re dating a man with no kids, your two kids are a huge burden, even if you aren’t a financial burden who is looking for a sucker. Imagine, he’s 40, he’s childless, and he either wants kids or just wants fun. If he wants kids, you’re 38, so how’s he going to get them? If he doesn’t want kids, he just wants fun, so wouldn’t he be able to have way more fun with a woman who doesn’t have to make plans for her kids?
4) engineer women tend to be some of the most feminist women I’ve come across. They often carry a massive victim complex as the only woman in the room (I’m thinking of my company and an engineering org that’s around 85% male, for example). So while they aren’t all like that, be aware that there’s a good chance that if you date a female engineer, she’s going to instinctively be combative.
Mundane_Worldliness7 Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
One of the fundamental truths about guys who support / aren’t involved with their kids is as follows: Whilst the guy has his responsibilities, he shares fault with the woman. It’s not rocket science to find a guy who’ll be there for his fucking legacy. When it happens, it’s often because the woman thought with her ovaries and willfully picked a guy who is manifestly unsuitable, thus every birthday where he doesn’t show up is in part on mom.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
It goes beyond that. Yes, women "willingly" pick manifestly unsuitable men, but also refuse to actually make an effort to "find" them. When women say something such as "I can't FIND a decent man", what they mean is that the selection of men who approach them aren't good so they pick the least awful one.
"All the selections at this McD's are unhealthy! Why is ALL food bad for me?"
"Well, did you consider going to a different place and maybe paying more for better food?" "I CANNOT do that! It's not LADYLIKE!"
A cute bottle blonde 25 years ago told me that she realized that all the hot guys were getting approached by women so she had to approach them. In conversations with Chads I know, they say it's true: They get hit on going to the bathroom, in the checkout line, entering hotel lobbies, and waiting at the airport.
I asked a 22 year old family friend if she wanted advice on how to "find" the best kind of man she can and she said no. I got this posting, in fact, from a response to one such dating advice columnist. Women simply want men to not only provide for them (including the relationship itself) but also to meet up to their demands. We hear about spoiled "zoomers" but women have been "zoomers" since the Gen X era.

There’s a rapper (21 savage) who recently gave an interview. He talked about being upset with and alienated from his dad. At least 50 percent of the fault remains with his mom: 1. She literally took 21 away from London (where he was born) to the US to be raised. 21s dad was not violent or abusive, so this flight was not justified. Only a rich guy could afford to to regularly cross the Atlantic to be with his boy. 2. 21 said he was tough when the fathers of his siblings (they all had different dads) visited and showed his siblings with gifts. This too is his mom’s fault, she created a mixed paternity house, not the father.

It's amusing how "independent boss babes" are so "old fashioned" when it comes to men doing the approaching and risking rejection. Back even a century ago, men didn't "take out" women from the family home to ply them with alcohol because pre-marital sex was a risk that she'd have a bastard child with a bad boy (oh, wait, that's STILL true!) A man didn't ask the girl "out", but rather would knock on the door of the home and ask the father if he and the daughter were interested in him "courting" her. He'd bring flowers for the girl, but presumably also a gift for the father and mother (if he had half a wit about him) but at the same time, they'd feed HIM if they approved. If he looked and acted like a "bad boy", the father simply wouldn't allow him to set foot in the home and that would be that. Oftentimes, this would be the first time the girl had ever interacted with the guy.
The point being that women didn't reject men to their face but rather the father might have a conversation with the daughter, ask her opinion, and then the father would deliver the bad news meaning that rejection ultimately came from the father.
That's why The Bachelor is so amusing in that some of the fathers get upset when the Bachelor (I don't know if it's part of their contract) have to say: "I'm going to be taking your daughter along with 2 other girls to an exotic island where I'll have sex with one or more of them in a hotel room and then dump one of them. Do you approve in advance of me marrying your daughter if she's the winner?" It was hilarious when the parents of one of these girls attended the final episode where they saw the footage of him clearly sleeping with the girl that night and then her getting dumped the next morning. They must have been so proud!
In some cases, the father will grill the bachelor and even threatened him in one case and I would have liked to have had him say: "She signed up for this! Why are you angry at me? Didn't YOU teach her differently? Does SHE respect your wishes?"
Here's the thing: This notion of men needing to game women, ask them out on dates, then schmooze them and get them into the sack (unless he wants friendzoned) was considered immoral back when it came out. It's not "traditional" or natural. It doesn't work most of the time and only functioned, sort of, for under a century or so when sexism reined to restrict women's financial choices and "oppressed" them to be rational.

In rural China, where extended families lived in close proximity to the same piece of land, a daughter would be betrothed at a young age, given a minimal education (if any) and sent off to another extended family for her marriage.. "Okay honey, this is your family now. Do what they tell you. No you don't have a choice you idiot, goodbye."
It sounds as if it sucked, quite frankly. It's probably a big reason that girls enjoyed a lesser status in families: why invest scarce resources in them if they're just going to leave? The sons, on the other hand, can be put to work and they probably ain't going anywhere.
The north China plain was a hard land to live on and eke out an existence. It was dry and cold with scarce tree cover; surpluses (usually millet) were small. In English, we say the wind "blows" but in Chinese, they use the verb "scrape" instead. The Yellow River produced devastating floods once a generation, and the levels of poverty were grinding. For most people, life sucked there generally. Yet, the Yellow River valley was an early source of organized human civilization, one of the oldest, and changing traditions was pretty damn risky.
Stuff like that makes it hard for me swallow the current hip and resentful teeth-gnashing about how the actresses in a movie based on a line of Mattel toys didn't win enough goddamned Oscars. Other than First World problems, today's women in the developed world don't really have so many.

Margot Robbie was nominated for Best Picture since she was the producer of the film so they're griping that "equality" means she should get MORE oscars than the man "because equality".
After all, if Robbie wasn't nominated it because OTHER women beat her so when a woman is beaten by other women, it's "Patriarchy's fault."
If Ryan wins, he'll probably make a wussy acceptance speech.

Bet women were happier under those conditions, in general, than they are today.

Most aren’t cruel enough. I think there are relatively few redpill guys in reality, we need a lot more, starting frankly in high school. This could actually turn our society around in a generation I think.
lurkerhasarisen A Strategist Among Tacticians 10mo ago
I agree with your point, but it’s important to not categorize truth and honesty as cruelty. If TRP is about anything, it’s about truth and honesty (often painfully so - nobody coddles men).
Granted: truth and honesty can be delivered in a cruel manner (which should be avoided), but there’s nothing inherently cruel about declaring truthful things… even when those truths make women feel bad.
Mundane_Worldliness7 Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
It’s kind of rhetorical. We’d be lucky if things actually were cruel.
lurkerhasarisen A Strategist Among Tacticians 10mo ago
I understand that it’s rhetorical, but a lot of people (most, actually) who are familiar with red pill guys think we are gratuitously cruel to women.

The men she chooses. Never forget that.

Bang on. Whenever a woman says "ALL MEN X" she's telling on herself.
Problematic_Browser Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
Exactly. It's a snapshot of every man she has allowed to fuck her.
Women don't make these complaints about the men they reject, the men they friendzone, or the men they don't even see. These complaints are specific to the men that she has allowed to fuck her that has then failed to give her the commitment she thought that she would get from it.

When a woman says that a man is cruel, what she means is that he is
This is unacceptable behaviour to women. This is what they mean by cruel.

What I found amusing about her rant is that what she's subjected to is no less "cruel" than how women such as her treat men who earn a living, have their own job, aren't the top 10% attractive, take care of themselves, etc. what she said above. Such women have ZERO respect for "ordinary", decent men. Many of them don't even call such men "men" but rather "boys" and dehumanize us. If we gripe about it, they chuckle "Who hurt you because if they did, haha! Funny!"
But her widdle feelings are hurt. "This isn't funny ANYMORE!" (note that her choice of words shows that this wasn't a problem in her 20's).
She resents that men have standards of our own and that men will start to like her when she meets them (doesn't have children from other men) but doesn't think about how many of these men were ignored until they got decent jobs and status. She has zero empathy for men.
She says she "provides for herself" but most women don't, really, in that their money is for "independence" but they want men to provide for them in exchange for sex (namely: whoring). Men should be "generous" and enjoy paying for dates and competing to impress her but she's 'independent' and therefore won't respect him except for transactional sex that can be cut off arbitrarily. Why aren't (relationship interested) men lining up "nowadays"?
So it's the men who are cruel. DARVO: Deny-Attack-Reverse-Victim-and-Offender

Shitty tactics like that are one of the reasons I am pro legalization of prostitution. It's so that women like this can get outcompeted so badly that they either start behaving better or just become an official whore and either way ironically become less of a stain on society, because a whore actually contributes. She doesn't get paid if she doesn't.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
I'm also pro legalisation of prostitution, even though I would never go to a prostitute myself.
What is the difference between a prostitute that lets you fuck her for $100 and a woman on a dating app that will let you fuck her (maybe) after 3 dates?
None, except the prostitute is better value.
Here's the maths:
Ergo, dating is just a less reliable and more expensive form of prostitution.
The reason why I am pro legalisation of prostitution is because we already allow in the form of 'dating' so its inconsistent to prosecute street walkers who will take cash instead of overpriced food in exchange for sex.
Boar_excrement Jr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
It would depend on how it was legalized. A few years ago there were some rumblings about legalizing the selling of sex but maintaining the crime of purchasing sex. The idea was to reduce the victimization of those poor women who had no choice but to sell their holes....
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 9mo ago
Plus legalization means taxation since there would be less stigma against reporting the income or reporting a prostitute for tax evasion. It also means more competition since it no longer a black market.
Downstream effect of that is also taking the bottom out of the "Free Dinner Strategy" dating market, forcing those hoes to get a job, which, you guessed it, is also taxed.
So yeah, that's why they blather about "sex work" being empowering but never actually put any effort in to legalize it. It would ruin the profitable grift where they can pretend to be sexually available but welch with impunity.
Problematic_Browser Sr. Hamster Analyst 9mo ago
That's actually why the gynocracy will never let it happen.
They don't mind profiting off being whores, but the second that it is used for the benefit of men then it's a crisis.

What she doesn't realize is that men know a single mom will always be a single mom. It doesn't matter if her kids are teenagers or grown and gone. One little pandemic, or if they get laid off of work, or they break up with their partner, first place they go is back to single mom. She'll let them move in, bring all their problems with them, and she's right back where she started umpteen years ago. Men don't want to deal with that shit.
