We're just a bunch of clueless NiceGuys™ with kindness coins that don't seem to work in women's holes so that the sex we're "entitled to" falls out. Because apparently we weren't demonstrating good relationship material through the attention, respect and stability that women demand. We were only "pretending" to be nice just to get laid.
In response to r/niceguys, this forum is dedicated to exposing all the women who complain about wanting a "good man" after dating jerks and riding the cock carousel in the prime of their youth, and think they're deserving of commitment and financial stability when all they have left to offer is their depreciating looks, narcissistic mentality, used-up vaginas, and another man's kids.
Women in their 20s have numerous opportunities to date the decent men they claim to want, but many reject or friendzone these men for jerks and promiscuity. She takes advantage of a good dude's kindness for attention and favors, then accuses him of being a bad person who thinks he's entitled to sex.
But when she's in her 30s with depreciating looks, jerks who won't commit, the likelihood of being a single mom, and the social pressure from her married friends, she asks "Where have all the good men gone?"[1][2] Funny how back when she was chasing the bad boys "Being nice is the bare minimum", but now that she's past her prime and needs a bailout, she wants a man with nice guy traits.
Furthermore, dating jerks and riding the carousel before settling down with a good man is planned by many women, and encouraged by feminists. They then come to the dating market with unreasonable standards while offering little to no value themselves. Such women are totally unaware that the mature, stable men they now need are the same decent men they rejected, except these men remember the rejection and are responding in kind to avoid unstable, unappreciative women who view them more as ATMs than romantic partners.
The reason women end up here is because their behavior is not exposed as the lucid, self-destructive, feminist ideology that it is. And we're here to help Good Men guard their commitment and resources by exposing women who would make poor life partners and mothers of their children. Providing observations and opinions on the posts here allows us to better understand women's psyche and later depressive/miserable state when they are not held to a moral standard required for healthy, functioning relationships.

Gee, I wonder why she's single. And I wonder even more why she got that divorce. I guess the grass wasn't that much greener, after all.
Vermillion-Rx Penchant for plastic dolls 11mo ago Stickied
There is an extremely high probability her divorce involved habitually and transactionally withholding poonani. She actually seems like she is being strategic about her poon tap above and beyond normal af/bb dual mating strategy.
Like she actually seems to view the practice as a default strategy, the male equivalent would be running dread above and beyond where necessary well into excess.
Pic889 11mo ago
As the old saying goes: "Generals think they can win the next war by applying the tactics that won them the last war".
Similarly, her transactional withholding of poonani probably worked fine for her when she was married, and she probably walked away with a fat child support after taking the kids, but now she thinks she can apply those tactics to single men.

Single men old enough to not be completely coom brained in their decision making, who face no financial penalty for walking away, and are awash in options because 30+ yr old divorced women desperate for a bailout and dumb enough to use transactional sex as a tactic are not in short supply at all.

Then why the fuck are you doing this strategy into the 5 week mark?
Listen honeydicker, if you're this determined to withhold poon, just change your rules to fuck on the third date like a ton of everyday ordinary people normally would expect and don't make 3rd dates with men you aren't absolutely determined to see long term.
Your dating strategy is complete dog shit (no offense to dog shit)

If she won’t fuck you or seriously escalate intimacy by date three then it’s time to cut bait.
Single moms, especially those with 3 kids, should be absolutely throwing the poon at any halfway decent man. Unbelievable that she still hasn’t adjusted to her current MMV; she has ten years of data screaming into her hamster brain. WTF? She has willingly put herself in a position to sell her “goods” into an extreme buyer’s market and still plays games with the few who are reluctantly interested in buying.
Keep in mind for most relationships the first 6 months are the most sex you’ll ever get. You can see the future here for any man who becomes entangled with this sad sack.
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 11mo ago
It's funny how women expect the benefits the information age and the increased range of choices it brings to only apply to themselves. And so they are shocked and appalled when a strategy that was only workable when they were the only poon in town a given man had access to fails to bring the hoped for results.
Turns out men have figured out they can get that 6 months of sex and then just trade her in for another woman and another 6 months of sex when she tries to turn the faucet off. And replacements are perpetually a right swipe away.

Not having sex with a man after 5 weeks of having 'hung out' (whatever that means) and then complaining following his decision to get action elsewhere is something only women could do. She's 41, thinks she's 'very attractive' and presumes that men would hang around for the privilege of hitting it.
"I'm surprised that this guy hung in there this long." The delusion index is through the roof yet again.
Everpax 11mo ago
Ah yes, it's clearly a much better use of her time to employ a dating strategy that goes literally nowhere, because she fully neglects one of the core aspects that bring men to the table in the first place. This is exactly why I never went on dates. And I would advise anyone against the '3 date rule' or any such interpretation of it.
If you are going out on dates with women, without realising it, you are filtering for this exact kind of woman. You are putting yourself into a position where the entire cohort that you are dealing with are like her.
What I mean by that is this: she is one of those women that thinks that a man should prove his provider creds before she will put out.
I don't play that game and I'd advise other men to reject that system as well.

Exactly why 'feed me dinner' dates are going extinct.
Bitch, I don't even know if you're worth hanging out with, much less letting you order some top-shelf shit from a menu.
Naturally, the resource-diggers and habitual 'foodies' are upset by this practicality of 'coffee' dates before forking out more.

Until you have become an official couple (boyfriend/girlfriend or more) any girl you are dating is just a possible option you are exploring to find out if she is worth making her someone you want to identify as yours, without that confirmation, it's just a situationship.

Yup, "dinner dates" are best reserved as a reward for a woman who has a demonstrated pattern of good behavior. And not one second sooner.

After a year of solid, high quality sex, that is when you can bring a woman out on a date. Not a second sooner.

Interesting assertion. What do you suggest? Just ask them to come over for Netflix? If you go out for drinks, isn't that the same as a "date?" I opted for "activity dates" when possible which was playing tennis, hikes, and such which helped a lot.
Back in my era, I just accepted it was the cost of doing business in that if I filtered out (this was 25 years ago) the women who refused to put out unless I paid, I was left with few options. I always physically and emotionally escalated so if they were meal-whoring me it would take a lot of effort on their part. Personally, I don't think a free meal is worth having to try to entertain the likes of me so few women wasted my time in this manner.
GimmeTheUsual Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
I suggest adapting to the extreme "gimme free shit" behavior by vetting with activities that don't involve long stretches of time or resources.
If she doesn't like it, okay, good riddance. A women that will work with you doesn't have to be wowed by top-tier dinner dates. That's an earned reward.

On a woman's dating advice website run by a man, he suggests holding off for sex with men for up to a month but I don't think he advises to NOT SPEND THEIR MONEY during that month. If a woman is willing to hang out with home cooked meals (including cooked by me), go to museums, walk through parks, and such, I don't mind that at all. It astonished me when I left the USA that I could actually ENJOY being around women. That women who aren't spoiled, mercenary, angry, or openly manipulative can be a joy to just hang out.
Oddest-One-Here Jr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
This is why things like the Passport Bros movement is gaining traction in the last few years, men who still yearn for a good wife and children are figuring out that Western countries are not conducive to the creation of good traditional women anymore, and are planning on living in another country and marrying a local woman there.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
What's interesting about the states is after having lived in many different regions, and this is not absolute, the rural regions had a lot of "trad thots" going on: "traditional" women who were entitled and practiced a rural form of feminism. My wife relocated to the states but we live in a sort of cultural bubble where most of our friends are foreign or disconnected from normal American culture. I don't know whose playing in the Superbowl for instance. In a blue-state metro region, I think it's easier for us to handle this culturally than if we were in a more socially homogeneous redstate. We have African, Cuban, Thai, and of course Slavic friends we hang out with. We support the local Slavic church and volunteer regularly.
Ironically, we perhaps are more intentionally slavic in some ways than normal slavs are like Americans who just go to work, come home, and live as worker-consumers. By being intentional about culture, we sort of are more into it?
I'm not saying this is The Way but rather an illustration of how intentional lifestyle planning helps to take control of one's personal cultural destiny. I didn't like how American culture was turning out for me, so I found a way to enter a virtual one within it.
It helps that even in more "tolerant" blue states, but I saw it was worse in the red state ones, the country folks were xenophobic about my wife the second they heard her accent which is ok by me. I WANT them to not pull us back into typical American culture. I now have a slight accent so I get some guff from them too sometimes but I can switch it back when needed.

the only kind of 'date' I would ever bring a woman on is something that I am doing anyway, which has zero extra cost to me. For example;
The clear implication is that I am going anyway, whether she comes or not. Am I going to have fun, with or without her.
Pro tip: If you say you are meeting up with other friends, and she can join, this is a clear indication that this is NOT a date. This is a hangout, something fun and social that I am going to allow her to join in on (provided she behaves herself). The very fact that you make it NOT romantic contains within it a little gentle neg. It also sets clear the rules - she is not going to be the centre of attention. There will (usually) be other people there, so she will have to behave herself and not morph into a mega-cunt (open doors for me, where are the flowers, this is not a fancy restaurant etc).
The good thing about my system is that it filters out entitlement princesses and gold digger bitches. With so many insane bitches out there, you need to do good filtering. There are many FDS type women that will simply flat out refuse to come to a motorcycle shop, and them refusing is good evidence that you have dodged a bullet. If she can be bothered to do that, she almost certainly wasn't going to put out anyway.
A woman that wants to fuck you will accompany you to the local sewer treatment plane for a tour.
Problematic_Browser Sr. Hamster Analyst 11mo ago
Exactly. Women remove hurdles for men they want, they create hurdles for men they don't.
As much girlfriend always says "I don't care where we go or what we do, just as long as you're with me."
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 11mo ago
So much this. Women will get incredibly aggressive about opportunities to be alone with you or otherwise jump through whatever hoops they have to if they actually want you in particular instead of you being another easily replaceable dancing bear.
May as well just filter for those to save time and effort since the ones that view you as the latter by default have shit ROI anyways. And women generally know within 30 seconds of meeting you if they will ever deign to have sex with you and no amount of calliope music and tricks for peanuts will change that.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 11mo ago
Back in my father's era in the 1950's, group dates were more popular (Sex before marriage was a strict no-no back then.) Yeah, there's a chance a woman will "friendzone" a man who takes her on "hang out" excursions and doesn't pay for her share on it, but then it's no loss on his part.
One caveat I can see is that you need friends who have your back because if she's pissed about having to pay her way she may try to flirt with someone to get at you.
As an added bonus, like the activity dates I took women on, they have fun and if they "LBJF" him, he can stop inviting her to events.
At this point in relations between men and women when women are so incredibly turned off by men who show the slightest signs of vulnerability, the "let's hang out with my friends" date exudes confidence in that she's his guest and not getting anything from him. There's a reason why they call them "gentle" men: Men who are "gentle" and another word for gentle is soft.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
I don't think you have understood my 'no date' system!
After bringing her, sorry, scratch that, allowing her to join (there's a difference) on an excursion / trip to the motorcycle showroom, I am expecting sex that day/night. If there is no sex, there is no further interaction. There is no friendzone. It's sexual or no further contact.
You write "if they "LBJF" him, he can stop inviting her to events." They get one chance, and that's it. It's event (singular), not events (plural).
Ditto the issue you raise when you say "if she's pissed about having to pay her way she may try to flirt with someone to get at you". Tbh, that sounds like scarcity thinking on your behalf. It also sounds like you are subconsiously mate guarding a women who doesn't even belong to you. It will give her (and everyone else) the ick.
If she ends up flirting with one my friends, that's great, my friend can bang her. And my friend can owe me a solid. I dont' care. It's not like there aren't 5 million other women in London. If I miss the train, I get the next one. The train comes very 90 seconds at peak time on the Central Line. And anyway, if she flirts with one of my friends, that must mean that she prefers him, so SHE WAS NEVER GOING TO BANG ME ANYWAY. My friend just saved me from a boring entanglement with a non-shagger.
You also write "she's his guest"
no no no no no no no.
You still haven't understood the 'no date' system. She is not your guest. Any more than you would be 'my guest' if we met up for a coffee.
This is the modern way. This is equality. They asked for equality, give it to them. No drinks, no meals, nothing.
The purpose of the no dating method is to exclude and screen out those women that don't want to bang you. One of the tenants of RP is that you can't negotiate desire. You can't 'persuade' a woman to want to have sex with you, so stop wasting time, effort and money on trying.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
I'll be honest and say that I'm not great looking and it's possible that if I brought a girl to an event where there are hotter friends and she banged them, and this happened more than once, I'd feel pretty lousy. If it hasn't happened to you, then good for you. No judgement, just saying how I'd feel but it's not a big deal in that I would expect my friends to not do such a thing and have my back.
Yes, that is "scarcity thinking", but I think that men who have "abundance mindset" but aren't in that zone are engaging in a form of delusion like single moms expecting men to feel privileged to take them out to top end steakhouses. I don't think I could easily pull a woman in a single night. Even PUA's have often had to go on (cheap) dates at least 3 times to get the job done although they advice that after 3, the chances of success go down exponentially.
But... granted, times may have changed and that women will associate such behavior with alpha males in general and find it ballsy that someone, particularly with my baby face, could dare to take them to an event, not pay for anything, and then try to pull them home for a nightcap. The states, in particular, suck compared to nearly anywhere except I think for perhaps Sweden and even Swedish women are prettier.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
Sounds like you are being a bit hard on yourself dude. You don't need to be drop dead gorgeous. You just need to live by rules that value you, your time and your resources.
Tbh, you are still not getting my point about the 'no date' strategy. You write "If I brought a girl to an event...." that is where you are going wrong. My system was that I am never BRINGING a girl anywhere. I am allowing her to join, to tag along, to hang out.
The minute you 'bring' some girl somewhere, she is implicitly your ward, your problem, your date. This means you pay for everything, and SHE decides whether to reward you with pussy. You are in her frame, automatically.
PUA's going on 3 dates to maybe get some action? This does not sound like anything worth 'learning'.
Granted, I grew up in the UK, where 'dating' is a very recent concept. We copied if from the USA, which in turn was basically part of a revival, a nostalgia thing, if you will. To my mind, its part of the crypto-feminist movement, where men are expected to behave like guys from the 50s, while women get to behave like sluts from the 2020s. A best of both world scenario for women.
As a teenager, student and the young man about town, there was no dating. Zero. You just went out with your homies, you might meet some chicks on the night out, and you'd do your spiel, and about half the time, you'd bring one back to your place. Or you'd meet someone through work, or through a friend.
I think the position that we are in now is that a lot of men, esp in the USA, (millions of them) have tried the current system (the crypto feminist way of 'dating') and have found out that it yields very poor results. You get very little 'bang' for your buck. This is the reason why the modern women are screaming that they 'can't get a date'. It's because the deal is so bad (for men).
This is a mirror of what is happening to the marriage market and hence the birth rate. The feminists are setting 'the price' because the femocracy has decided that in a divorce a man must lose everything and then some. That means that the price is not worth the purchase, and men are opting out.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
It's kind of funny the opposite is happening here: The guys with game are doing what you said: Just "hanging out" and then "hooking up" and the girls complain, but they don't know what else to do because they want hot guys with action.
Perhaps what you suggest would work quite well, especially now, in that if hot guys are hanging out, then normies would be better off emulating them via pre-selection and association. Even back 30 years ago, I didn't go for the full cloth-napkin restaurant first date experience which I knew was for suckers.
Back then, and perhaps this is because we didn't have the tools to do it right (Kino, escalation, etc.), "hanging out" with girls to try to get action was actually pretty common if only because, well, that was cheap. A full dinner date is expensive so why not invite her along with the gang and "see" what happens? It largely didn't work back then for the guys I know.
Perhaps what makes your system work is, as I spoke about earlier, a collective action by men to have standards and women respond to them: It's not difficult to get women to hang out (so who cares if one sleeps with someone else in the group), the men collectively have this expectation so the women aren't demanding more, and the men have set limits (a 1 "date" rule, so to speak.)
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
maybe I haven't made myself totally clear.
one of the golden rules = it doesn't work being friends with women. So when I say 'hang out' with women, I am not inviting them to join my friendship circle. Not at all. I would be letting them hang out with me, and perhaps a couple of guy friends, while we are doing something fun and low key. That was usually going to the pub. This meant that I am not getting dressed up, I am not picking you up in car, etc etc. And that is the one chance they would get. If that evening does not result in sex, they are getting ghosted. It's not a first date, so how could there ever be a second date.
And by the way, this 'no date' method was really not even my main way to get laid. The main way to get laid (and I am talking about the 90s and the 2010s, so I could be out of date) was simply meeting women on a night out, chatting with them for a while, then going back to my place. That's what we call 'pulling' in UK. As a rule, if a woman is not interested in having sex with you the first night that she meets you, she's not interested in sex with you full stop. She doesn't see you as a sexual being. No amount of dinner dates is going to change that.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
I can't say for sure, of course, but I don't think this would have worked on my (future) wife. I would call what I do "beta caveman game". It took me weeks for my wife to see my value but I didn't splurge on her. I spent a lot of time at her apartment with her parents feeding me and I took her and her parents out to some shows. I was kind of a part of the family before we even got married.

This sounds like copium. There’s nothing preventing you from simply talking to another girl if the girl you’re currently talking to displeases you. A single mom isn’t going to magic some giga chad into wining and dining her - that’s where the delusion is.

Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
You probably don't need to be as 'handsome' as you think to pull chicks. I have a few friends that really are not that handsome who were pulling machines. The guy in my friendship circle that had the highest bodycount was about 5'5.
A lot of it is attitude and exposure. It's very like fishing. You more you cast the net, the more fish you get. Skill has some element to it, but if you don't spend the hours casting the net, skill cannot compensate. And my short friend that was killing it was casting the net ALL THE TIME. He would hit on girls in lectures (during the lecture), in the line for coffee, on the train etc. He was never NOT gaming.

I think @polishknight is correct - cope is not the word you are thinking off.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.
From google: "Copium" is a slang term used on Twitch and other online platforms that refers to a coping mechanism or an optimistic outlook on a situation that may not be realistic.
I'm not saying you don't make good points, but I don't think you're applying the correct word to what I'm saying (I'm being pessimistic if anything, not optimistic). I'll also add that @Lone_Ranger personal situation may be entirely different (as stated above) in that London and modern women there would have been different for me 25 years ago in my own situation.

In addition, at least in the states in my time (YMMV), I think that the proliferation of game has spoiled many women. I liken the situation to fishing where someone casts their line every minute to increase their odds but winds up spooking the fish.
I'm not blackpilling in that the situation is hopeless and give up, but I think it would behoove men, individually and collectively, to be more strategic about sexual relations with women. I'm not saying we can "fix" women, but the question is can our actions at least improve the culture somewhat? Yes, it feels like putting my coffee cup in the trash can while everyone else just tosses theirs on the ground, but I do so nonetheless. That's me.
On the other hand, I'll admit that my view is partially based upon laziness in that when someone says "You can increase your odds at getting in the middle class if you work 80 hours a week consistently" or as Richard Cooper puts it: EVERYONE should try to become alpha. Some men may not be interested in becoming a full-time chick-chasing machine. Some men may not want to work like a dog their whole lives to drive fancy sports cars. That's not to say they don't want to work at all.
Anyhoo, just putting this perspective out there for food for thought. Happy Friday!

I'm late getting to this but I've felt for a long time TRP has a bit of a blind spot with regard to normal, otherwise solid dudes who want to find greater success with women but aren't necessarily interested in dominating their professional and social spheres. Of course I understand success in each of those areas (particularly social) are themselves the proofs that attract women in the first place, and is thus necessary to some degree.
Still, not every man can be Richard Cooper. More to the point, not every man wants to be. There has to be some reasonable middle ground between the blue pill fantasy of appeasing women and the red pill caricature of "just be the best, bro."
Self-improvement is always a good thing but I sometimes wonder at what point we cross over into vying for the crown of the Titanic. Getting laid more is all well and good but, by itself, it does nothing to solve the larger sociocultural issues that led so many frustrated young men to seek out TRP in the first place.
The thought occurs I'm perhaps expecting too much of TRP. It was, after all, constructed on the foundation of male sexual strategy. Many who pioneered that strategy have since moved on to wider pastures and the idea itself has expanded to encompass a rather greater scope, to be sure, but in many ways the core of TRP is still fundamentally tied to the base motivation of "I want more fuk."
Maybe that's as it should be. Might be the problem isn't with TRP itself but with me expecting a screwdriver to do the job of a bandsaw.

You didn't annoy me at all Polish (on the contrary) - I was talking to @tlalox ...he was being a bit rude to you.
You raise a few points. I wouldn't pay much attention to Rich Cooper. But he is right in the idea that every man should act or behave like they are alpha. The thing about R Copper - he puts women at the centre of his life. Everything he does, his stupid cars etc is all orientated at 'attracting women'...which is a bit beta. He is a fraud. His background is debt consolidation (fraud) and then PUA (fraud) started shilling for bitcoin (fraud) but had to dip out because he was getting roasted. He seems to me to be retarded and has the mind of a 14 year old boy - (like andrew tate). For example -you need a flashy sports car to get access to rich people (fraud and retarded). He also says don't date single moms - but apparently thats ALL he does.

I've evolved over the years from a Reagan ("America is number 1!") Republican to one who thinks that the USA was fundamentally broken back in 1965. White guilt and corporatism was as bad for American men as the USSR was for their men. I'm still raging at Reagan for having done NOTHING about the internal crisis in the USA by thinking that just becoming rich would solve the problem. I find it amusing that Reagan was against abortion but yet he favors a society that dehumanizes the majority of men as "beta".
In modern American society, being alpha is something that men rent after all. We are judged by what we have and if a woman takes that from you in a divorce, that's that, yes? The notion of basic human dignity has been stripped away and even before 1965, this notion of women as "ladies" who become feudal princesses simply by virtue of their "noble sex" while "gentlemen" have to earn it or have an inheritance. Men in USA society live like an ex-convict on permanent probation.
Ironically, women are now feudal serfs to the Patriarchy in the form of "ladies" working 60 hour workweeks to buy designer handbags and shoes from oligarchs so she can be a bigger "lady" than her friends.
I was just chuckling recently at something my wife said about "natural" diamonds vs. lab grown. It's like saying that "sea salt" is "natural" salt. If a woman is pretty but got "fake" boobs and there was a magic pill that made her compliant, I'd go for that "stepford wife" in an instant. The original book was actually pretty funny.
I know this sounds like something a single mother would say: "Know your worth" but it makes sense. We need to be capable of assessing our value, both market and base. Even a minimum wage worker can "know his value". When I was 19 I saw that working at a local grocery store was the hardest job I ever had (even up to now). I had to hand type all the prices (yeah, that ancient), fetch carts, and so on. I got fired after a week but I didn't regret it. I found another job that also paid minimum wage where I stood around for the most part and chatted with the other clerks and have fond memories of those days, actually.

Can you imagine the money this poor beta dude spent in "the five weeks we hung out"?
I'm guessing at least 5 dinners (lets say $150 each) and 3 coffee dates ($50 total) and maybe some excursions (lets say $250 all in) and 2x 'just drinks' ($100 each, because she wants to go to a 'nice place' and drinks cocktails).
That comes to $1250.00
Yeah, remind me why men are not looking for dates any more.
NotaBene Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
That's usually where the problems have started for many countries.
The "dating" system was always doomed to failure. Culturally the source can be traced to the post-war 1920s (and probably further), when "going on dates" supplanted the normal "dad gives you away". Stupid idea. I think a lot of bad thing converged back then, setting the stage for our destruction. This was just one of them.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 11mo ago
What I want to know is this: why is this women (and the others like her we see on these posts) actually looking for a man?
They all seem to have 'amazing careers'. They have had their children. They are 'very attractive' and 'in good shape' and have 'a great house'. They also clearly hate men. So why are they looking for a man? Can't they just sit in their awesome house, go to their amazing job and look after their kids (which are their world) and just generally be amazing and awesome all the time?
I mean, we all know that men are shit and useless, but also evil, sexist and racist. We're also balding and fat and impotent slobs.
So why oh why are women on the hunt for one of these useless and evil men when their lives are so amazingly awesome without one?
Pic889 11mo ago
She wants a Chad that will $$provide$$ for someone else's kids for the privilege of duty sex occasionally (if ever).
Yes, those women are that delusional. They see romcoms with Chads fixating on a woman regardless of personality flaws or lack of intimacy as if there are no other woman in the world, and mainstream media tells them that dragging along another man's kids is an advantage the new man must be delighted about, so that's how they get so delusional.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 11mo ago
Funny question because MGTOW asks the same thing: If you get all the stuff you need to land a hypergamous boss babe, the question becomes is the sex with her worth having this huge liability and drag in your life? Particularly if the guy is over 40 and doesn't want kids. Any transactional sex he can get from desperate single mothers or set up plates.
You pity the poor beta dude but I don't think he spent $1250. Probably 5 dinners at moderate restaurants for $60 each. That was what I did back when I was single. Any woman who demanded I take her out for a high end restaurant got nexted immediately. Excursions were museums, parks, and such and a cheeseburger for $15.
But even so, if he really spent that $1250 and she let him wriggle off the hook her got off easy. he could have fallen for her and gotten stuck with tens of thousands of dollars expenses.
And heck, many men who are sending thousands into OF's at least are off the regular dating market. Fine, let Amouranth buy gas stations and farmland selling her AI girlfriend experience to thousands of men. Those men at least no longer are feeding these beasts with dual-mating bailouts.

Assuming this is recent and in the US, the numbers @Lone_Ranger tossed out are high but plausible. My gross income is just over the six figure mark, and my wife works part time, too, and although our house and cars are paid off and we’re debt-free, we rarely go to restaurants. One reason is that we prefer to exercise more control over what we eat, but the other reason is that eating out is ridiculously expensive, and we’re not usually frivolous with money. We can walk to an IHOP from our house, and I love me some pancakes and omelettes, but breakfast for two will set us back $50-60.
At IHOP.
Going to a nice restaurant for dinner can easily exceed that. If two people go to the sort of place that has linen tablecloths and order an appetizer, entrees, drinks, and desserts, $150 is pretty standard after the tip.
As for excursions: my wife asked her three grandnieces what they wanted to do for an outing, and they said they wanted to go horseback riding. It turns out that runs $50 for an hour… each.
We know the guy isn’t Chad because she’s been holding the V hostage, so he’s been trying to impress her for more than a month. That could easily cost him over a grand.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
I actually thought my numbers were on the low side. You and I could go and get dinner for under $50 (I love me a turkish grill) but the minute there's a woman in the mix, that number is x3.
Women and gays make everything expensive. The entire 'luxury' market is just that - aimed at women and gays.

Concur that some people don't know how to go to more affordable, but yet nice places. For example: Near my house there are two good Chinese food places one raised their prices during COVID to $38 for cashew chicken. This chicken isn't magical, it's the same as nearly every other place I've gotten it at. About 4 blocks the other direction is a nice place that sells it for $16.
I don't know about Ihop, but most chain restaurants have apps and I get incredible deals on them. McD's is determined to kill me with them. Two breakfast sandwiches for the price of one, half priced coffee, a full value meal for $6.00.
All that said, sure, there are guys who probably do spend that much because there are people out there regularly eating out at these places. A friend of mine is in a panic because she got laid off a year ago and I observed she had a nice house and car and she said "We spent the money as it came in." I couldn't live like that but... I also get called "cheap" a lot. The privilege of NOT being called "cheap" has a cost.
woodsmoke Respectful reprobate 10mo ago
This reminds me of this post @lurkerhasarisen made over on the other side of the site. Just like I said there, I simply cannot imagine making that kind of money and somehow still being financially insolvent.
A few times in my life I've walked away from a job without having another immediately lined up. Never a good idea but, similar to yourself, I'm "cheap." Which translated into me having enough to cover general living expenses for several months while I looked for new work.
...or simply took some time to smell the metaphorical roses for a while. It's not something of which I make a habit but it's always nice to have the option.

One irony of the Jack Welch stacked-ranking system is that so many people are laid off or randomly terminated to whip-crack the masses into working hard to "keep their job", that gaps on resumes are no longer fatal anymore. I left an otherwise stressful, but promising job to make big bucks as a contractor and by the time I realized my mistake, I had a spotty resume which was poison to try to apply to normal jobs. I was viewed as a "hopper" back in the mid-90's.
The USA today is amazingly dysfunctional and dystopian at so many levels but since it's been a slow boil frog, so many don't realize it. It's the opposite of the utopian book (I want to read) "The Sleeper Awakes".
At one of my last gigs, I had the worst office environment imaginable so to get through it, I took 1 day of flex time every week, worked from home for 2 days, and was in the office for only 2 days surrounded by H-1bs who didn't bathe, at food at their desks, and 100 of them talking at the same time in a single room. It was a strain to get through it and I thought they were going to terminate me and they called me in (I knew something was up) and said "We have a layoff, here's 5 months full severance" and I practically danced on the table with joy AND I got a half year of unemployment! I spent that time with my daughter taking my time to land a dream job.
lurkerhasarisen A Strategist Among Tacticians 11mo ago
Full agreement.
But I’m chuckling at the thought of what would she would say about a non-Chad who took her to some place where ordering from an app results in getting half off of something that comes in a box.
She certainly wouldn’t be complaining about him leaving her five weeks into the relationship!
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 11mo ago
Guys guys guys.... these discussions about reasonable restaurants and using the app to get good deals, that's all irrelevant!
Women don't want 'reasonable prices' - they want overpriced shit.
And the original discussion is about some poor beta, going out on 'dates'. The would exclude anywhere reasonable.
Because value for money gives women the 'icky'. That is why they prefer to have a glass of wine in a bar designed by a faggot that costs more than a bottle of wine back at my place.

@lurkerhasarisen @Lone_Ranger My little sister was disgusted when I told her I split plates with my (future) wife because the portions were large so we didn't need a take home container but yeah, I went on dates with childless bourgeois career women who were disgusted with me for asking for a take-home container because "real men" just abandon the food to show how wealthy they are. Heck, I even smiled as I asked to put HER leftovers in my take-out as well. (I wish I could have taken a photo of the look on her face with my 35mm camera.)
Of course, that's why my wife was the keeper. SHE got excited and now uses the apps as well and there's a small problem with this is that she sometimes goes on "spending challenges" to earn rewards.
To deal with the check, I personally preferred paying it when they were in the restroom so I could use my coupons and gift cards (additional 10% off if you get them at Costco). I could then say in a beta-male maucho fashion: "I took care of it" while at the same time not letting them see me spend money.
Yeah, it stank and I'm not happy about it, but I wasn't getting any action otherwise.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
what is it with portion sizes in USA?? It always surprises me when I go there. I order some pasta dish, and its the same as you would get in Italy for 4 people.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
I have a few theories. One is clever marketing. Consider pasta: It costs about a buck for a box of spaghetti so why not fill a person's plate with pasta? Heck, Olive Garden has a special called "Unlimited Pasta". Americans also are accustomed to taking food home so they like the bigger portions for leftovers. Next, there's tipping culture: If someone feels like they didn't satiate their appetite, they take it out on the tip.
All that said, I think USA restaurants were great up to about 2010 but that was largely due to cheap immigrant labor. Germany is also paying the price for that as well, is my understanding.
Covid blew everything out of the water. People got huge checks just to get by and many restaurant workers realized that they could earn better pay for less effort in other fields. It's astonishing that despite 8 million, repeat 8 million, low skilled immigrants flooding into the country restaurants largely remain poorly staffed not due to the law, but rather the immigrants go on welfare. It makes the USSR seem sane by comparison. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants (until now) raised their price of Cashew Chicken went up to $38/plate.
Somethings gotta give.
Lone_Ranger Sr. Hamster Analyst 10mo ago
you hit the nail on the head.
The 1st world used to encourage immigration in order to get cheap labour. Now? Not so much.
Now they realise that 90% of the immigrants flooding in to the country (USA, UK, EU) will never work in their lives. They will never work, never contribute a single dollar to the public funds. They will only cost money.
So why are they letting them in?
It's a one-two-switcheroo manoeuvrer. First you let in the migrants, give them welfare and put them in hotels.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/feb/01/home-office-asks-for-emergency-26bn-after-asylum-seeker-hotels-overspend
Then, you let the crime wave spread. "You must do something about the crime!" shouts the people.
Ok, says the government, we'll let them become citizens so that they can stop being criminals and do some work, and we'll spend XX billions on 'integration' measures, such as centres where they can go to learn about 'western values', such as not being so rapey. (I shit you not, this is a business in Germany).
They then give them all citizenship, which includes the right to vote. Which means the neo-liberal global elitist parties get in again at the next election. Biden is almost openly doing it in the US.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 10mo ago
The tragedy is that it's not necessary. Democrats already have a super majority. The Republican party is as dead as the USSR in 1987 but they don't know it. I like to joke: "What's the difference between the USSR getting Chernobyl and the west having Wokeness? The USSR got first choice!"
The existing immigrants who don't have citizenship have children with birthright citizenship meaning any illegal who snuck over about 19 years ago has a child whose a Democrat voter citizen. Many of these teens perhaps in the past 3 years didn't bother to register but the Dems have almost Cyberdyne like efficiency at getting them signed up over the summer via social media campaigns.
The thing is sort of once someone gets momentum, they just don't want to stop. There's this simpson's scene that's become a cultural reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXZFbGJxSlk

This is a fundamental misunderstanding from all women and even many guys. On Twitter especially, there are many “bro” accounts run by upper middle class white guys, all of whom are handsome and successful, these guys too cannot conceive of a world where it’s possible for a guy to go on tinder and get no swipes. They think it’s all about effort, they for example couldn’t imagine being a normie black guy who is hated by all black women as corny.

It would make a nice thread to be posted on Where All The Good Men Are of alpha male stories. They live in an unreal world, similar to that of hot women. They would get gratis business class upgrades at the airline counter. One asked an FA for a drink and she brought him the whole bag and then took him to her hotel room. He asked a pretty girl for directions to a hotel and she simply brought him home.
He's a cool guy, though, and is aware from us that's not how normal life is.
Another funny story is how it works even with men: A colleague would provide him with a report on work done and he would give it to upper management and management would assume he had done the work.

I’ve mentioned a guy I work with who is a total chick magnet. I’ve seen it many times: random women go out of their way to get his attention and flirt with him. Waitresses would be all over him while giving everyone else the bare minimum of service - or ignoring the rest of us altogether. When he was younger, women would throw themselves at him. One time he asked me why I have such a low opinion of the average woman’s behavior.
I said, “You think women are nice because women are nice to you.”
