When an "independent" woman says she can truly marry for love and that's what many of them claim is their "gift" to men: "Isn't it better to be wanted rather than needed?"
Instead, needs are replaced with demands ("at least") without corresponding gratitude that comes with needs. Women such as this expect a dinner to be paid for and bills to be paid, but her "thank you" is perfunctory at best.
My cat knows how to hunt mice but is nonetheless happy when I give her food.

Females with unrestricted choice are a goddamn nightmare. I don't give a shit how oppressive they think it is. It was the one guiding force that kept civilization going. Now, its all falling apart as these women fuck everything up (literally) and men check out of dating and the general economy.

She sounds Indian. The women are nearly as bad as American women.
They rule over their husbands - I have never seen a submissive Indian wife (except to guests, which they treat far better). They want the appearance of "tradition" without any of the responsibility. They are fed endless Bollywood movies with seedy feminist romances in every one, just as bad as Hollywood. They use their close, inter-generational family ties to absolutely dominate men - it's extremely common for the women of the family to gang up on a man if he gets out of line. I've listened to several Indian students/friends of mine whine about this to me in private, but few have the balls to stand up and fight it, they are all afraid of offending their extended families - "That's just the way it is."
As to the lying, you have to remember that it's just not that big a deal to women (and interestingly, to Indians, culturally) as long as she gets what she wants - validation, attention, and status among women. She has hit a brick wall in this respect and can go no further without a family to rule over, like the other women in her cohort. After marriage, the mark of status will then be how much of a slave she can manipulate her husband into being. I've seen so many dogged, exhausted Indian husbands trying to just "do their duty" and it's sad. Not only are they expected to provide for their extended family (parents on both sides) but if they make enough it's common to support their whole village - and if you make a lot generosity is demanded of whoever asks you (or else).

Great analysis of the liberal Indian women. Largely on point. Even conservative women, though technically not liberal, tend to be like this, thanks to modernity.
The countryside, particularly those with less connectivity to the internet and the modern cities, tend to fare much better here. Men call the shots, and so have women under best behavior. At least in front of you.

I haven't been to India, I am just going by the many Indians I've met that made it to the US.
What you say about rural places is pretty much the same all over the world. It's the Eddie Murphy "leave the bush baby in the bush" thing.
I think women wanting to control men goes back to Eden, nothing new there either. I've just been struck by the Indian women doing it so overtly and so naturally, it's frightening. Never have I encountered what I'd call a "good marriage" in any of the couples. They don't think like that - the purpose of marriage isn't to like each other, seemingly. The best you can say is that the family sort of works.

When I was marrying my woman, I had a notch of 1. I could count sex encounters with fingers on my one hand.
Some time after marriage the relationship was open on my side only [officially anyway] and we were goofing around with her attractive friends on top of that. I was allays trying to 'achieve that', progressing at slow pace. Nevertheless I like imagining that my wife understood that when I fuck her friends she will also increase her status amongst them. After all I wet my dick in most of them and they couldn't even secure one guy that is decent. There was many instances of jealousy over that we are happy couple, and they would try to put needles here and there, yet they would come for more dick later on.

OP can try to implement the method of letting him loose - or even proposing to him her friends etc, then she can stop obsessing over his 0 n-count. Not only it will cure her worries, it will also be beneficial to her status.
