I love how modern women can have their entire life in shambles, but still find it fit to question the world view of someone who actually has their life in order.
Her life is a total disaster. 42 isn’t old in terms of life. I’ve met many people, man and woman, who find success in opening small business ventures, going into real estate, etc, well into their 50’s. I’ve worked with realtors in their 60’s. Go to Florida and you’ll see semi-retired lawyers who still practice law in NY and Massachusetts in their 70’s, since a lot of court procedures can be handled via zoom.
But for where she is in life, 42 is ancient. 42 might as well be give up time. She’s an ex-stripper, apparently, which will draw a whole lot of attention when future employers ask about her missing years of work history. She’s a mother of 3, so no man is truly going to want to deal with her until those kids are out of the house (and even then, she’ll be even older and less desirable). And also, the men that she would be sufficiently attracted to, she’ll probably find most of them agree with guys like this.
Oh, and she’s broke. Her 2016 Mazda CX-5 with 160k miles would probably sell for around $8500, so it’s not like she’s driving something that she can just sell, get something cheaper and pocket the rest. The fact that a repair that i would assume would run a few hundred dollars is this nerve wracking indicates that she’s basically hopeless economically. And it’s only going to get worse for her. I fully anticipate that she’ll be emotionally manipulating her children to take care of her

You see it in teenagers, too. To fulfill a student teaching requirement once, I had to teach classes in the public school situated in a postindustrial slum. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but you drive in to the place, there are vast expanses of concrete with grass poking-up through the cracks, punctuated by enormous edifices of rust-streaked metal like the wasteland following a steampunk mech-battle, then you get to the residential area with battered ticky-tacky lookalike houses, then pull in to the school.
I get to the classroom, and it's full of maladjusted, ragamuffins in second-hand clothing who are sneering at me like I'm a stupid piece of shit. Except for the Bosnian refugee children, they're sweethearts. They're the only ones who don't call me some variant of "fag."
"Hi, guys-- we were talking about important court cases. Who remembers this one?" I write Marbury v Madison on the board.
"It's not 'v', it's 'vs'. Duhh!" Some jock barks. The same thing he barked the day before.
"For sports, yes. For court cases, it's 'v'. Anyway, do you remember what it was about?"
"OHMYGAWD, why do we even have to know this?" some other jock moans.
"Because it comes up in real life. If you're ever at a party and someone starts talking about Roe v Wade, you'll know what it's about."
"Oh yeahh," sarcastic snort "that'll totally happen at a party."
"If you ever go to a smart party, it can come up," I say with a grin.
Chuckles. The snorting jock isn't impressed. He's still cracking wise "Oh, at a party, people totally talk about that stuff! Yeah, riiiight!" The observing teacher in the back looks up from his notes "Bob, he's actually right. It does come up." The jock snorts again.
"Anyway, remember what this was about...?" Long silence. Someone throws a balled up paper. From the next room, I hear a muffled woman "Only one of you did the homework! And he's the only one who isn't failing this class!"
And then I say "...It's gonna be a loooong day..."
...but if I ever wanted to know who sold the best drugs, they'd have probably given me three very well-detailed answers. "What kind of drugs you into, Mister L?"

I'm going to my HS Reunion in August and I had some excellent teachers including history where we read a book on Russia during the cold war, a math teacher who was so strict you couldn't say "5-oh" (It had to be 5 ZERO) and a photography class that taught me how to compose great photos to this day.
Nonetheless, where I grew up in coal country the teachers had to slip $2000 to the comptroller? or whatever the title to get hired and it was rife with corruption. My historic school was recently condemned when there was a foundation issue but instead of fixing it, they justified building a huge new school to replace 3 and then put the kids all on busses.
My local school has a lot of illegals in it but there are many who still send their kids to it because the quality of the classes is good particularly if they get into advanced placement. The danger of some school districts is when they water down the curriculum to pass the slower students.

The guy above is a shinning example of everything what not to do. A late 40s guy with so few options he'd not only put up with this shit but encourage it.
Example of a niceguy going into lady's frame. By accepting her opening declaration of what amounts to 'friends first'. Huge blunder. Next he compounds it by being a super great accommodating guy and buying flowers.
What's will be her future declarations/demands that this chump will need to comply with. This is how plow horses are trained. She's in settling mode and this guy due to lack of options and weak mind set is perfect.
How to handle insufferable ladies like this. The guy should go ice cold on her withdrawing all attention which should be devoted elsewhere even if it's his golf game.
