She's correct, in a sense (that she doesn't understand) in that older women are less messed up, er, "progressive", than younger women. I chuckle when young men today say that women in the 90's were so much better but they were inferior to women from the 1970's and so on. Few career women back in the 90's had face piercings or sleeve tattoos.

It upsets feminists that women don't identify as "feminists" because it's synonymous with man-hater but nonetheless, most single leftover women justify their materialist resentment of men in two ways: As a chivalrous princess or a career woman hypergamist.

My take? Women are getting desperate because men are learning the tricks and just don't want to placate these women anymore. The general trend of economic stress accelerates this, of course.
