They are less than. They are making themselves nythings (nothings). They do it by cutting off their own threads in the web of fate. The web of fate is called the "web of weird" in all gemanic spirituality. (Weird has changed its meaning a lot but it actually originally means fate). It is their weird (fate). They made it. When their life ends, their thread is cut off and they leave no children to carry their true colours into the pattern of the future.

That is the twist of fate (the expression comes form the idea of the hand of the second fate who weaves the tapestry of fate, twisting the threads of people lives to make the patterns of fate) that will end liberalism and feminism.

When life gives you lemons, throw them in the trash and then make a lengthy self-righteous post about how not all lemons are called to be made into lemonade (or, in this woman’s world, an alcoholic beverage because she uses alcohol to forget she sucks).

I just binge watched 7 seasons of Outlander. 1700s mostly historically accurate sci-fi time travel show. Back when a woman needed a man. Women got kidnapped and sold to sex slavers, beaten, raped, etc. A virgin from a good family was highly prized but if she slept around she would forever be labeled a whore.

I think these 30-something single women are basically the modern day equivalent of ye olde whores. They don't realize it but they are detecting that "people on the right" view them as "less than". I wonder how long it will be before it really sinks in...

Keep coping, laydeez. Only fifty more years to go. But don't worry, you will be forgotten long before you are gone.

Pretty sad. And she has probably has about 45 more years of alcohol and loneliness left to go. Many females really do need to be protected from their own stupidity.

I hope she dies happily at 82, surround by her loving cats.... who might if they are hungry enough and her neighbors don't notice for long enough... mitigate the need for a burial.

We aren't failures

You are failures. Women only have two jobs. If you can't do both well, you're a failure. You know this, all women know it, and we know it.

While she may claim that she is fine being a spinster, I am not going to believe that is what she truly wanted. Sure, it is possible that it is not her fault for being in this situation (but it probably is mostly her fault), she still failed regardless in this aspect. So she is wrong to say she is not a failure, since she said herself that she thought she would be married with children. Not having that is the definition of failure, regardless of fault.

If she were able to be given the choice to suddenly have her ideal man appear in front of her willing to marry her and have children with her, not only would she jump on that opportunity, she would be even happier than she is now. That "I'm perfectly happy where I am" is sour grapes thinking.

This is exactly why it is a disservice to tell any woman in her 20s "you have plenty of time." Because often they take that as a signal to squander their time rather than placing any priority on finding a man who is husband material. While the statement "nobody lying on their deathbed wishes they spent more time in the office" is true, it was aimed mainly at "workaholic" men. For women, I would tailor the sentence to say "no woman lying on her deathbed was truly happy being the girlboss 'cool aunt.'"
