Same problem so many other women have. The only thing of (positive) value to a man that (who they are willing to consider an option) they are offering is sex, so that's the price point they get offered in return. And in a market flooded with dumb hos, that price point isn't going to be very high.
So they can either lower their sights to mere mortal men who are willing to offer more instead of spreading their legs for Chadeus, god of Thundercock - or they can offer enough value other than just sex so that they are no longer a replaceable cumdump for Chad.
Or they can do neither and get the worst of both like most women keep trying to do.

Interesting insight here. What she is actually doing is defining any woman who has sex for fun with men she barely knows as a prostitute.
No such a woman is not prostitute. In fact the woman who wouldn't go on the coffee date as it was "cheap" is more like the prostitute -she wanted free money spent on her.
What she is actually talking about is a slut. She didn't want to be a slut, which is good -some women do know it degrades them inside, whatever liberal education tells them- but it is interesting that she couldn't quite separate sex and money. A lot of women have that issue...

Her terminology is amusing because it implies what many men learn: Nearly all women insist upon some type of exchange for sex while shaming women who are honest and up front about it and make it a direct cash exchange.
Some women shame each other as sluts even when there is no non-marital sex involved and the courtship does NOT involve prostitution including quid-pro-quo: they'd say a woman who asked out a nice guy (not particularly handsome), paid for a coffee date, they just "hung out", and then got married and then had sex was a "slut".
In other words, all women (by such women's standards) are "sluts" (if they sleep with men without getting paid) but if a woman sleeps with hundreds of men for free, but the men are all hot or celebrities, she's not.a "slut" either because she is discerning.
Modern women have normalized prostitution but yet also renamed it to be something else that they fail to see the Orwellian doublespeak humor in a term such as "free prostitution".

I’m 62. I dated two women in college. I married the second. We had four kids and a 32 year relationship. That was the experience of most of the men in my close circle of friends. Senior year and the following year were a round of weddings, and all the marriages made it at least 20 years.
After our divorce, one thing I wasn’t looking for was someone who hadn’t made a relationship work in the last 30 years.
The thing OP’s poor experience had in common was her.

Remember: most women are perfectly happy with the concept of prostitution as long as (1) it's not called out as prostitution, and (2) it is not legalized (free market). But they are perfectly happy with exchanging sex "favors" for "something of value". See what I did there? I gave it enough vague language that she can, "yeah I sucked dick for dollars, but it's not prostitution!"
Furthermore, society - via the Overton window - is OK with it too, i.e., Monica Lewinsky & Stormy Daniels.

In the Rolling Stone article which inspired the movie "Hustlers", wherein strippers drug rich dudes and steal their money, there was a kind of funny insistence on the part of the stripper-thieves that no prostitution had taken place.
Yes, they drugged people. Yes, they stole stuff. Yes, they ran-up their credit cards. Yes, they lied their asses off. But trade sex for money??! Perish the thought! What do you think they are??! Hookers?!
It's like that one old lady said in "Arsenic and Old Lace": "There are only seven bodies we buried in the basement, Mortimer! I wouldn't stoop to telling a fib!"

My brother got married soon after I turned 21 so we went out to a strip club for his bachelor party and I was curious what it was like and I found it depressing. A bunch of lonely guys sitting around getting grifted by women with fake smiles and the DJ loudly nagging you every 5 minutes or to so "tip the dancers". I simply found them awful to be around but it was entertaining for the time I was there.
I later went to a brothel and it blew my mind. It's like being a kid in a candy store or going to the status lounges at airports. I felt like a million bucks and although some of the professionals were rather cold, the majority were the best times I ever had with a woman. I felt for a moment what it was like to be a chad in that I didn't have to "perform" to be around them. I had a conversations with them having just had sex.
This woman's indirect way of admitting she's a (paid) prostitute is something I figured out a while ago about the dinner-date game: It's like paying for a prostitute up front and then you have to perform tricks for them and if you fail, or if they simply are toying with you, you lose your money. Like paying a doorman at some club a tip to get in and he doesn't let you in anyway for... "because".
My wife is aware I went for these services before I met her and I think while she officially disapproves, much like how women officially disapprove of high body counts in men, I think it's the most powerful way to make a statement: "I can get sex WHENEVER I want and I'm not ashamed of it."
Note that professionals don't have to sleep with ANYONE just as when I worked minimum wage 40 years ago, I didn't take just any job. Although I didn’t put this to the test, IMO, brothel prostitutes appeared, on average, to be better adjusted than most meal whores and chad chasers.
There’s still this stigma around cash prostitutes when every other form of prostitution has been normalized and even socially required. Women are ashamed with their friends if they are NOT perceived as gold diggers. Bi-sexuality and homosexuality is common. I have a lot of fun dropping this bomb on the typical inclusive fuddy-duddy and watching them stutter.
