This post reminds me of Superman III (referenced in Office Space regarding a computer hack that took a fraction of a penny out of each bank transaction.)

A secondary story in the film that puzzled me at the time was Superman/Clark fell in love with his high school crush, Lana (played by the lovely Anette O'Toole) who had dated someone who bullied Clark (because Clark didn't fight back to protect his identity) and then she had married the high school prom king. That relationship had failed and now she was an (albeit) pretty middle aged single mother.

Clark becomes a surrogate father for her son and towards the end of the film crushed a rock of coal to make a diamond for her (presumably an engagement ring?). I found the plotline strange because I wondered why did Clark compromise his identity by becoming a freelance photographer producing photos of Superman when he could just crush coal and live in wealthy anonymity.

Anyhoo, I thought of Superman III as I read this profile because that seems to be what this woman wants: Something as improbable as the plot of a superhero film of a man with infinite power and talent but "down to earth" enough to have ZERO ego or desires of his own. Someone who lives to work and rescue people for the fun of it. Someone who doesn't mind that a woman ignored him as he was bullied and slept with the town bully and washed up prom king.

She should buy a powerball ticket because that's about as realistic.
