@Antelope I spend a lot of time at hers for convenience. But I can no contact. She actually broke up with me before then blew up my phone hours later for an hour straight apologizing. She's just a drain on my mental health. I've been talking to a lot of 22 year olds I'd like to fuck anyway so. I guess it's best to take your advice. thanks.

Any advice for preparing to go through a break up? Feel like it's going to be more rough than I expect.

I think I'm about to break up with my LTR. It sucks, but she's such a fucking hypocrite and can't control her anger.

@LandingWood As I privately told one of my Hipcamp clients, the butch half of a lesbian couple who was having a tough time with everything, and her fem GF was watching it all unfold with wry bemusement, and you could see she was struggling to keep her shit together by that point: Such is the burden of masculinity.

@MentORPHEUS yeah it’s not rainbows and sunshine I really have to lead and bear the stresses of being a leader and the person who has to be rational at all times.

It's a game changer when she's still responsive to your leadership. A lot of men's problems here are down to their inadequate leadership skillset.

Know that your words were probably incidental to her making the effort of changing herself. It's your broad actions and enforced boundaries that are the real movers. Women sometimes don't even listen to and process the words when you try to explain shit, but its still worth some initial effort.

@MentORPHEUS Yeah I found early on that I was doing that, but I had a conversation with her and she’s gotten a lot better. She’s an immigrant who grew up in a country going through civil war for 6 years now. She’s about to graduate MD/PhD.

It’s not as much love as it is a good partner and teammate. She’s very reliable when I need her to do things for me.
